This review is for the restorative treatment mask.Yeah, this really is all that and a bag of chips. My all time favourite conditioner will always be Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm (JMRTB) which, in my humble opinion, is the king of all conditioners. The Restorative treatment is a very close second to the JMRTB, which is interesting because I don't find the ingredients fantastic (particularly for the price you pay). There are a couple of really wrong ones, such as isopropyl alcohol, so, by logic (and with the little knowledge I have about ingredients), this really shouldn't work. But I've used conditioners in the past which had all the 'right' ingredients, and they did absolutely NOTHING. So who am I to question the composition of this product?Anyway, this treatment costs a bomb and a half. I think I got it for about £30 on a Look Fantastic offer, but it's actually about £39 and is therefore the most expensive conditioner I've owned. Ever. Quite steep for a rinse-out product. Having left the treatment in my hair for about an hour or so (I was doing some work at home), I was left with nicely detangled and hydrated hair that smells lovely. What's great about it is that it provides a balance of strength and moisture so, while it feels like a mild protein treatment, you don't have to follow up with a separate conditioner to restore moisture. In a kingdom where conditioners live and the JMRTB is king, the Silk Bloom Restorative Treatment would be second in command. But in thinking about the price again, my hair should be spitting gold at this rate. It's just so expensive...

This conditioner is ok but not the best I"ve ever tried. It is the most expensive one though. It leaves my hair soft and frizz free for a day, but not longer than a day. It smells lovely and the bottle looks great but I think it is too expensive for what it actually does for my hair.

This might be the best conditioner I've come across so far. It is moisturizing and leaves hair soft and silky! And that's quite the feat cos my hair can be so dry on the ends! I love the smell too! However, I am giving this a 4/5 because it's really expensive!

This conditioner is just divine for my very very dry//damaged hair. Honestly the best product I've tried in a long time! My hair really does feel like silk after use. Love!

I have been a dedicated and loyal Kerastase fan for the past 7 years and it was very hard to break away and try something new. I recently ran out of conditioner and rather than purchase my usual Kerastase one, I decided to try the Shu Uemura silk bloom conditioner. This conditioner is for damaged hair. I used my Kerastase shampoo however and then used the Shu, silk conditioner. I found my hair to be incredibly silky and strong immediately after the first use. I've only used it once, so I'll be sure to post again but thus far, I am very impressed and actually prefer the shampoo to my usual Kerastase. I cant wait to try the Shu Uemura shampoo! Although pricey, so fabulous! My hair really does feal like a million bucks!

okay. this is actually about the hair MASQUE from the green line...but i couldn't find a place to review that. the conditioner itself is lovely, makes my hair very soft...but the MASQUE is above and beyond any hair masque i've ever tried. it's perfection. my hair feels soooo soft and silky afterwards and the softness actually lasts beyond one shampoo. i try to use it once a week because it really does improve the quality of my hair.i'm a big fan of the entire green line for very dry/damaged hair

$50 - 8oz.The Shu Uemura Art of Hair collection is one of the most highly anticipated haircare launches of 2007. Only 70 select salons were fortunate enough to receive the entire line...even before its available online or in the boutique. Being fortunate enough to work right down the mall from a salon that carries the complete line, I ran (literally) down on my lunch break (I work at a Shu Uemura counter) to check it out.I love the packaging. It comes in 3 hair type specific lines that are color coded and a white/black styling product line. I purchased the Silk Bloom Restorative Conditioner for Damaged Hair and the Depsea Repair Foundation Essential Hair Prep. The product itself was a little disappointing. Its being marketed through Kerastase, which for the most part is a consistently effective line, but while the conditioner smelled absolutely lovely, it was a little too fluid, required a larger amount of product to evenly coat the hair (at $50 for 8oz, I can't imagine it lasting very long) and didn't leave my hair in any better/worse condition. Because of the price, I'm being a lot more stringent on my criteria. I feel that at $50, the expectations should be a lot higher. I'm also keeping in mind that it is a restorative product, not a moisturizing one. That said, I'm hoping the the other products are better, or perhaps need to work in conjunction with each other, because thus far, this is a miss.
