I have a huge crush on this product even though it's not that great when I really sit down and think about it. I love the glass packaging, it looks really sleek, but I don't like dipping my finger into it to apply it. At first glance, SPF seems like a great idea, but it's only SPF 12 which means nothing (SPF isn't really effective or worthwhile unless it's at least higher than 15). However, the smell is absolutely divine! It's supposed to smell like strawberry-kiwi; it certainly smells delicious and fruity. I like the way it feels on my lips, but I don't find it to be all that moisturizing. It's more of a balm-gloss than anything really moisturizing (I find Lip Smackers to provide more long lasting moisture). They're a fun summer product in every way except that it totally melts into goo in the heat. I don't think you're missing out all that much if you didn't get one when they were out (twice) but they're alright.

I received this lip balm in a swap & I must say, I'm impressed! This is the first lip balm I've had from MAC & when it runs out, I will purchase another lip balm from them. Tender Baby specifically has a great scent and such a sheer wash of color. If you can get your hands on this one, do it!

Yesterday, I visited my CCO for the first time. (I had no idea my outlets had one!) I stocked up on some MAJOR goodies, including these babies.

I ended up buying four, one in tender baby, tread gently, hush hush, and warm smile.

I'm in love already. The texture is wonderful, the smell is heavenly, and it adds conditioning and sun protection to your lips.

I also love the packaging. It's in a cute little glass jar, like the paint pots and concealers. I don't have a problem with applying with my finger, if i'm on the go, I always sanitize my hands and have a tissue nearby.

I would imagine these would be great to have in the summer months, to have in your beach bag or purse. Melting would be a problem where I live though.

Overall, this product is amazing, if you happen to find some, GET THEM! You won't be disappointed.

I actually like the packaging. For some reason, it doesn't show as sheer on my lips as the pictures. I apply my MAC lip conditioner stick and then this tendertone. Color is love on my lips.

I love this tendertone! It's the perfect pink and it smells wonderful. I got tender baby at my CCO and it's my first time trying a tendertone. I understand the craze for it now. It leaves my lips moisturized and gives me just the right amount of color. I would buy it again definitely. Wish MAC would bring back tendertones, I prefer it over lip conditioners.

i love the smell of tendertones! they smell like... strawberry kiwi mixed with peaches and cream and just... delicious! the scent of them makes me SO happy. tender baby is a beautiful girly hot pink in the pot, and when applied gives my fairly pigmented lips a wash of subtle pink sheen. the texture is very smooth and gives a beautiful shine when applied. this doesn't make my lips as smooth as i'd like it to, but i'm willing to look past that as it does give me spf 12, while my other lipbalms (i have many) don't. and this does make my lips pretty darn soft! but of course, there's nothing like some carmex or blistex to soften them up. too bad those lipbalms aren't pretty. lasting power with this is not so great, but it IS a lipbalm, not a lipstick or lipgloss. that's the reality of it, and it's fine with me. the packaging is really sleek, like all other mac things. however, the whole dipping your finger into the pot thing isn't the most hygienic, but i doubt i'd find stick tendertones attractive. it just takes away so much from the cuteness! so always wash your hands before using this. you don't want the gunk on your fingers sitting in your lovely tendertones! uck!
for reference: nc 35 asian, yellow beige undertones

Although I do love the color Tender Baby, I'm not sure if I like it enough to buy it again. The pics that people have posted pretty much sums up the great pink color. On me, it just doesn't have great staying power. I love the scent, and the spf. Glad I bought it but I think it will be the last Tendertone I'll buy.

I really wish I had bought this when it was first released because I'd have bought a backup! I really like Tendertones in general for their lovely strawberry scent, creamy consistency & shine (which is impressive for a balm) but Tender Baby is my hands-down favorite. The color is a cool, bright pink with just enough pigmentation to give you a pop of color without overpowering the rest of your face. On me it is very close in color to Stila's Watermelon lipglaze, which I absolutely love. I hate the Stila clicky pens, however, so I was overjoyed that Tender Baby looked the same. I highly recommend it.

MAC's Tendertones are definitely a hit! I tested a few out in the store and wanted them badly. I was there for other items so I didn't end up purchasing but as a stroke of great fortunte, my friend bought Tender Baby for me as a gift.

The scent is just delicous as many people have aready mentioned. The texture was very nice and went well on the lips. It was not overly wet or sticky as with some lip gloss type products but still moist enough and soothing on the lips. I can definitely see how it's not just another sheer lip tint but sold as a balm...especially seeing how it's glides on like a dream! Also, it's fabulous that it's has some SPF.

Tender Baby is a shade lighter than I would have bought for every day wear but in the end I found that it's such a pretty pink that I would wear it for an average day regardless. The light pink isn't too overwhelming anyway. You'd probably notice the shine more than the actualy pink though the colour is not completely inivisble.

I'll be getting more Tendertones but until then Tender Baby is staying permanantly in my purse.

I don't need to say much about the MAC packaging since we're all familar with that but the Tendertones are a very nice size. I love the weight of the glass and how elegant an lip blam can look. ^_^

I heard all the hype on the Tendertones, but wasn't in any sort of rush to get one. I recently went to my local counter to try em out intending to pick up EZ Baby. I tried it, but was intrigued by the brighter pink pot next to it. I tried it and fell in love. It was only until I got home that I realized that it was an old one from the last release and that I could've bought it for less on ebay or something. =P

OH WELL, because it's amazing! It's my most favorite thing ever. Haha. I now fully intend to find a backup or try some more colors while they're still available. :) It's so pretty, I'm not sure why it was still available!

This is what it looks like on my bare lips.

Well since this color was discontinued/LE with the last tendertones collection, I had to purchase it off ebay, thankfully for way less than retail.

And I love it, I had bought Honeybare and EZ Baby from the latest tendertone collection and while EZ baby is a bit too light on me, I do love Honeybare.

However, on me, neither come close to how pretty Tenderbaby looks, it's a perfect glowy light baby, but a bit bright pink on my lips, they look full and glossy and smell delicious. I wish this one had come out again so I could snap up a few more!

Instead of talking again about how much I looove tendertones in general, I'll talk specifically about Tender Baby. I found this at a CCO for about $10 otherwise I don't think I would have bought it because it is a sorta bright pink - however, this is the purchase that turned me on to tendertones and to this color as well - It's not an everyday color but it's a beautiful shade of pink (what i was hoping petting pink would be). Would repurchase for the CCO price but maybe not fullprice (just becauce I'm more of a neutrals girl and would rather buy other tendertones (like EZ baby, honey bare or hush, hush). ;)

This is the first Tendertone that I have tried, and I'm pretty impressed. It has a lovely, smooth and hydrating feel without being sticky or gluggy. Tender Baby is a gorgeous, bright baby pink that goes onto the lips very sheerly, whilst still leaving enough colour to make lips look plump and juicy.
This is perfect for the weekend when you don't want an 'obvious' lipcolour or to dab over colourful lippies to make them more glossy.
I would purchase again, although I think these might be limited. I would love to try more Tendertones in other shades.

Smells like heaven. I hate fruity sweet glosses but this one is soooo delicious. I think its key that it isnt sweet tasting. The smell is like kiwi strawberry melon?? I have no idea. Whatever it is, its damn good. Its moisturizing also and it has SPF. The pink kinda Barbie-ish in the pot, but its pretty sheer so its nothing gross or garish. I like it a lot. Its kinda a pain in the arse to have to carry around a brush for it though. I have a mini travel sized brush that is about 1.5" long. So I just use that. Staying power isnt GREAT, but whatevers. I got it at the CCO for about $10. I probably wouldnt get the same color again, but the Tendertones themselves are awesome.

Oh how I love these little lip balms in a pot!! They come in chic little glass pots which are a little on the heavy side, I must say, but they do look great! and what comes inside is even better!! It's so sad that these lil babies are LE products because they are the best lip balms I have ever used!

Tendertones are extremely moisturising, which is really good for me as my lips get dry and flaky in the winter, and frequent use of this will actually prevent it altogether. And what I really love about this is that the colour is beautiful and is more distinct compared to the colour pigmentation of other coloured lip balm. so it's like lip gloss but feels lip balm.

Love these and really hoping MAC will put them on the permanent collection.

First of all, I love this just for the colour. A lovely 'barbie' pink that's not bright. It's probably my favourite lip colour I own.
The smell is delicious and the texture is like a thinner version of lip gelees but more moisturizing on my lips.

I'd love if this came in a squeeze tube like Lip Gelees.

I really love the tendertone line. Tender Baby is a light cool pink that gives just the right amount of colour. Perfect for summer days . The texture is light and smooth and it smells great. I am hoping that they will use the same formulation and come out with some new colours for the up coming summer season. I love the little pots as well ( I always use a lip brush) and they travel well in my purse. Great product.

well this lip balm is my fave out of any... it really moisturises my lips.. keep them soft and hydrated, has a gorgeous soft fruity scent and isnt too bright but give my lips a cute pink tint with a glossy shine.
I gave the packaging a 4/5 because its sometimes hard to get out especially with long nails so it would be amazing if they made a tube that squirted it out.. anyway i shouldnt complain too much because its one of the best mac items ive bought and its soooo worth it.. i bought it in about may? and its still full and i use it almost every day and my lips NEVER crack or anything
