I LOVE THIS EYELINER! It's one of the best in my opinion. It goes on so smoothly. There's no need to tug on your eyelids with this. I use the one in sable and it looks so amazing. The onyx and navy ones are also great. One of my favorites.

I have tried EVERY eyeliner. You name it, I have tried it. After awhile I gave up. I bought Mac's powerpoint eyeliner thinking it would be amazing because it's expensive and MAC. I was wrong. It works horribly. My friend brought over her Onyx benefit eyeliner one night, I tried it, and instantly fell in love. The color is so rich, the blackest eyeliner I have ever tried. It's so easy to put on, it just glides on. After trying 1023203 brands, I know this one is the best. For now on, I'm sticking with this eyeliner. Try it ladies! You'll be amazed.

I love these pencils and I personally love the shade Royale!!! I must admit, I rarely stray away from my staple black bad girl eyeliner, but when I saw this on the MA at the counter I had to ask what eyeliner she had on!! Its sooo nice and it gives off a little purplish/blueish sheen when you catch the light!!!If you layer it on really thick and then use the little smudger, it is perfection!!! Its also good when you dont want to wear very dark eyeliner. Im a big fan!!!

The only Benefit product I use! Love the onyx eyeliner, and have been using it for three years now. My only beef is that it comes off after an hour or so, but of course, I am lining the inside of my eyes, so that is to be expected. I also use it as an eyebrow pencil, as my hair is black, and applied lightly, it works extremely well.

YEA! This is great. I've had my pencil for at LEAST three or four years, and it's great. I just sharpen it and it's ready to go. My "HG" eyeliner, goes on smoothly, the color is great (I have Sable, but want Tuxedo and the purply one...) and comes with a smudging sponge on the other end. I recently got another eyeliner from Bourjois and it wasn't NEARLY as good! Updated Review Jan 08: not so impressed with this eyeliner anymore, smudges too much and runs all over my undereye area. I've had it for years but I just threw the stub away. I have better eyeliners including Jordana, Prestige and Isadora.

I have trouble finding eyeliners that don't smudge underneath the eyes and have found this to be the best product in dealing with this problem. However, the liner doesn't last very well for more than three hours, so it's necessary to take it out with you for reapplication. Quite expensive for an eyeliner that isn't amazing, but the pencil is very long and the sponge makes smudging the liner and defining eyes easy.

this is my typical everyday eyeliner. the colors are ordinary and it goes on quite smoothly. the only downside is that i have to reapply it every hour or so.

After using a cheapie Revlon eyeliner for years, I was lured over to the Benefit counter while waiting in an airport last year - BEST purchase ever! I have the sable and grey colour, both of which I use every day. The grey is really nice paired with the Black Orchid light/dark grey shadow duo from Benefit. A great night look if you smudge the liner a bit. The pencil is really soft, no drag on the eyelid, and I haven't had any of the smearing problems other reviewers mentioned despite a lunchtime gym routine. The ONLY slightly negative thing I could say is that I think the smudger is pretty useless. I didn't buy it for that anyway, so no big loss.... SO WORTH THE PRICE!

I have three shades- onyx, royale, and tuxedo. The quality of the pencil is only slightly better than average (drugstore), although I do like the built-in smudger. The only one I would repurchase is Tuxedo because it's a fairly unique shade.

For me, this eyeliner didn't go on as smoothly or evenly as I like. I have to go over the line several times to get even application. I have it in Sable, which is a nice soft dark brown. Love the color, just wish I loved the texture better.

I absolutely love their lip pencils. These eyeliners have the same silky texture. These are very long (much longer than your standard pencil) and has a smudger on the end. I purchased Sable, a dark brown color. The texture is wonderfully soft and silky and glides on effortlessly. However, they lack staying power and disappears quickly. But, I must say their lip pencils have great staying power (my favorite lip pencils).

I for one haven't experienced any of the smudging and short wear experienced by the last few reviewers. But maybe that's because I use an eye base (F.Y. eye).

I have this pencil in 'Sable' and am very impressed with it. The texture is so soft and smooth and when properly sharpened, this pencil glides on like a dream.

To my surprise, this pencil stays on me all day long. Again, I use F.Y. eye as an eye base, so maybe that's why. Drugstore brands don't even begin to compare. Neither does Chanel, which I was using previously. That pencil tended to get coated with shadow and not draw a dark line unless I kept sharpening it.

My top requirements in a liner are that it be smooth to apply, doesn't 'skip' along the skin, and lasts awhile. So far, this liner does that and I have already purchased a second one.

This eyeliner comes with its own smudging tip (at the other end) and it's an above average, basic eyeliner that has good non-smudging performance, but creases after an hour on my oily lids (with a base on). I got it in stainless, a dark grey colour. Blends well, goes on very easily. However, Sephora's slim eye pencils work just as well and lasts even longer for a fraction of the price, so I won't be getting this again. The only real plus is the sponge tip.

I have this stuff in Sable (brown). It looks nice, for a while, but it smudges like crazy, and fades really quickly.

Normally, makeup naturally lasts on me for a long time, but this stuff smudges and fades off so quickly, that I rarely ever use it. Just not worth the hassle, really.

It's a shame, because I love the color. I notice that a LOT of BeneFit's eye makeup doesn't have much staying power, and smudges or runs a lot.

I don't use eyeliner much these days, but when I do, I like it to really count. I'm sticking with MAC next time, since their cosmetics are better, and have a wider color range.

These are the most creamy pencil eyeliners I have tried. The pencil is so long!!! Also, there is a sponge smudger on the end. However, the staying power isn't that great. My favorite pencil eyeliners are MAC's Splashproof. They are equally creamy but they don't budge!

a very simple eyeliner and nothing great about it. it smudges in 3 to 4 hours after applying, so i always have to reapply. the onyx black color isn't as black as it seems.

I got this in Onyx while searching for a perfect black staple-liner. It goes on nicely and a looks good. Also, the sponge on the other side is useful because it collects liner on it so you can add more eyeliner with the sponge without it looking harsh(for a fancy smoky look), but it hardly makes it worth $15.

This gets really really blotchy, and it actually transfers up onto my eyelid after a few minutes, so it looks like I have really greasy black eyeshadow all over my eyelid.

I don't recommend this to anybody. It's crazy stupid looking, and you'll get comments from people because they will tell you your makeup is smeared.
