I love the texture of this it is so rich and pigmented. I do not like the color on me. It always seems like I am trying too much when I wear this. I am a girl who prefers more on lips and less on eyes, but this is just not so good look for my small overlip, which I quess is quite normal to have. but if youre blessed with lips like Scarlet Johanson, go for it. I agree with other reviewers that this does not have any brown in it.It is a cool color and it does not look black on me. Id recommend to apply with a lip brush tho, since amplified cremes are really intensely pigmented too.

I got this in a swap and I swapped for the color only because I wanted to try MAC lipsticks just in any color. I am a PPP and when I looked at it I was thinking I could not pull it off, but for my surprise it looks really good, especially blotted and applied with finger. It does not look too goth on me just because there is no brown in this. It is really a dark berry shade and when you blot it you can blot it to a violet tone and I cannot see any brown chocolate tone. Otherwice Id look like goth or zombie with this. This is the color I can wear to be fall trendy. It does however require a nude eye look maybe a winged liner. I am a huge Gwen Stefani fan and I am planning on recreating her red lips look but replacing it with this black cherry shade.

Luxurious, creamy and bold: that is how I would describe this lipstick if someone asked me to. Yes, its colour is def showy, a true black cherry, but it looks beautiful and sexy if paired with nude eyes (just some mascara and neutral paint) and just a touch of blush on cheeks. It looks like the perfect colour to sport for a night out, but I think I'll use it all day long.

Black cherry or deep blackberry. That's how I would describe Burnin'. Luckily there's no brown in it at all. Otherwise it would look horrendous on me. It's not a lipstick that you could wear to the movies or work. It's sexy and harsh. So domina-like! :P

This is a lovely blackberry color, the kind that was really trendy last fall for everyone. It was way out of my comfortzone and quite overwhelling for my face, I am a PPP so...I'm not really all the shocked that this looked very harsh on me. It is a beautiful color though, I blotted lots and sheered it out with clear gloss and recieved several compliments but I am swapping this. Gorgeous and deep and pigmented, just for for me. This would look fabulous on darker skintones though!

I have much love for this lipstick. It is a deep berry color that is perfect for me. I tried it on at the store when it was released and thought it looked great. Today I wore it out for the first time and was really pleased with it in every way. It is definitely a very "in your face" color, even with my DDD (NW45) complexion. I think it is a bit much for the office in normal circumstances, but I did actually wear it to my job but that is only because I dont care.... I HATE that place and I'm going to quit as soon as I possibly can!! I digress.... I got tons of compliments on Burnin today, not only from some of my co-workers but also from a lady I met during one of my frequent trips out of the office. This lipstick is a keeper. I have a ton of berry colored lippies, but none are quite like this. I would definitely repurchase again and again and again!!

This color is a deep, chocolate wine color. I'm a NC35 and I put this on my lips lightly because if I layer it too much it looks like black cherry on my lips. When I wear this I feel like I look gothic. I don't like it. I got this one impluse and I can't return it because it was my B2MAC, boo hoo. It's a great fall color but not for me.
