Because I am crazy about Chanel, I had to get this when a beauty blogger was letting it go brand new for $25. Excellent primer. Gives a radiant glow but doesn't turn you into a ball of shine. Warning, it DOESN'T moisturise at all. In fact if you are dry skinned and don't apply moisturiser prior to applying this one, it WILL dry you out.
It is practical because it is kind of liquid-y and has a pump so you will not be wasting any of this million dollar baby, and it doesn't get messy. The packaging looks very classy but I don't need to tell you that, you know it's Chanel.
Honestly I like this product a lot. It makes my make up look more natural and make it last longer. If I don't want to do a full face I just wear this, some concealer, mascara and voila. I look great. I am only taking a lippie off because as per most Chanel products I used, it doesn't last long and if you are buying full priced it's *very* expensive for a primer that doesn't moisturise or have SPF.

LOVE this serum! Gives my skin a nice "radiant glow" that looks natural and not over the top. Smells beautiful and feels amazing on. I use it under my moisturizer and love the way my skin looks and feels. Just a heads up... this is NOT a primer. I've noticed a few people saying that and it's not true. I have worked for CHANEL Beauty and it is not marked that way. Somebody has informed you wrongly. With that being said, this is a lovely product to add to your skin care routine if you are looking for a healthy looking boost to your skin:) It feels like a drink of water for your skin before your moisturizer. I love it and will purchase it again:)

When I received a call from the Chanel SA to come in for a makeover, I was excited. Not only would I get to know suitable Chanel products for my skin, but I would also get the makeup artist to work her magic on me. I was in for a surprise, though. When I went in, the MUA just looked at me, asked me to give her 5 mins until she got all the products ready. After about 5 mins, she applied a few products on me, one of which was the radiance revealing serum. I was so impressed by this product that I decided to pick it up.
After about a few days of using it, I realised that this product did NOTHING for my skin. It contains light reflecting luminous particles that's supposed to give you the glow. The MUA hadn't even analyzed my skin properly, she'd just suggested products to me. This is one of those few Chanel products that I'm not impressed with at all. A mosturiser will do a much better work of giving your skin a better glow than a gel based "serum" containing reflecting particles.
I stopped using the product and use the Chanel Hydramax+Active serum instead. I will not be buying this product again.

I really like this product. This is a pearlescent, pink liquid that smells very fresh, like roses in the rain :o) I always put this on before my moisturizer (Mirra Fleur - Umhanum) and it really adds a nice dewy sheen to my face. Even though the product looks shimmery, I don't think it is that ingredient that makes my face look so "radiant" - showing that the visible efects of the product are not wholly artificial. I do have normal skin, so I am not sure how well the dewy look will work for oily skin types. In fact, my mom (medium, mature skin, large pores) tried this product, and it really did not have any effect. I took off one lippie for its lack of universality, but if you have a similar skin type to my own, I think it will be worth it to add this product to your skin routine. Enjoy :o)

It is quite nice. I don't like to use primers or anything like that. But this is not too "silicone-feeling", it is not too heavy or sticky. I don't use it very often but it is nice to use it sometimes when I want just a little bit more fresh look (it is not too shiny, but don't put too much).

This is a lovely shimmery apricot gel-crème that is delightful to use. It is a little greasy for my oily skin to wear under makeup as was recommended to me so I don’t think I’d repurchase but I have enjoyed using it on days when I’m not wearing makeup and am at home.

Enh. This product was just okay. I have sensitive/combo skin with a tendency to dryness. I didn't notice that it really did anything for my skin, and I think it may even have made me break out slightly - possibly as an allergic reaction. I noticed no positive effects in terms of looking more "radiant" - I thought it only made my skin a little more pink and irritated looking. I like the Age Delay Rejuvenation Serum a lot better.

I love the luminescent glow this gives my face, unlike Prescriptives Magic Potion, which makes me look like an extra in the Bond movie "Goldfinger." I'm annoyed that I like a product that is so expensive, but I'm going to buy some after I finish the GWP I got. This is yet another good reason that companies should be generous with samples. To addict suckers like me to their products!

I think it's overprized for what it does. It's just a decent primer, doesn't hydrate or make the skin radiant as it claims, it just "tightens"it up a little bit. Reminds me of Clarins beauty flash balm, even in the smell and colour.

I ADORE this stuff!I got little samples of it with another Chanel purchase and I've used one sample for the past 5 days and my skin is completely glowing! I'm not new to serums, I'm only 20 but I think my face looks better with that silicone to smooth it out. I won't be buying this serum though- at 67.00 it's far too expensive for me. Maybe I'll just swap for samples of this and ask for samples when I make other (cheaper!) Chanel purchases. This really is a great product, but then I'm also not sure how much more effective it is than a drugstore serum because I don't have the ingredients. Wishful thinking...

Eclat Originel is a nice addition to your skincare routine but not a must-have, I'd guess. I personally appreciate serums since I get to spot-treat areas that look flaky or dry, and it instantly calms my skin. This is a coral-colored serum with a little bit of shimmer to it that doesn't show up. I haven't broken out from it, and I am prone to breakouts around my chin. I use all Chanel skincare and couldn't tell you which product in particular does the most good but I am very pleased with the results. Get a sample of this serum and try it for a few days. You'll either find it a must-have or a pass. I've had several people comment that I look younger since I started using Chanel.

How this product can be compared with Estee Lauder's Idealist is beyond me. I still have half of it sitting in my cupboard. I tried using it again recently when I ran out of my sample of Idealist and it...did...nothing. It never did anything, actually, except maybe make me a bit redder. Anyone want the rest?

I tried a sample and I have the impression that my face looks brighter, but I am not sure. It's not bad and it's not good, so I don't think I'll purchase. I put average on all criteria as I used a sample.

A nicely moisturizing serum that leaves the skin soft and smells wonderful. I noticed maybe the slightest sign of added "radiance". Not impressed.

I love this one! I gave it a try and my skin felt so amazing afterwards!!! My makeup went on so smooth and I couldn't stop touching my face. I really noticed the nice glow it gave to the skin. The serum itself has a hint of a pearlish shimmer to it, and just looks great on!

So great that my 86 yr old mother inlaw, and my 82 yr old mother made me go out and buy them some, after I let then try it. In fact my mother in law took mine back to Floida with her. And even at their age it made a real difference. I love the stuff, won't go long without it.

Although I liked the general lightness of the srum and the way it smelled, I didn't think it particularly worked very well. it was meant to birghten up skin and even out skintone, but it only brightened minimally and didnt' seem to do much else but put sparkles on my face. Not worth the 100 bucks.

I wish I had discovered this product sooner! It really makes my face glow. My BF comments on how great my skin looks when I have this on under my foundation. The only downside is that this stuff makes my face feel just a tad sticky and the product is quite expensive. However, I love this product too much for the amazing things it can do so I will continue to repurchase.

I just love this serum. I apply a small amount around my eye area, cheeks and just above my brow bone. It leaves my face feeling soft, smooth and yes, more radiant. Although I was initially worried, the sparkly particles do not make my face look shiny. I do notice the difference in my complexion when I have not worn this for a few days, because it looks more dull and skintone is less even.
