I received a sample of Amatokin Emulsion for the Face with an online skincare order. I managed to squeeze just two applications out of the 1 ml sample (which means that one bottle would last barely two months), so I can't speak on any long term effects of the product. However, this is what I noticed from my brief usage:
Pros:
Fragrance free.
Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
Provides just enough hydration to serve as a night moisturizer for my combination skin.
Absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling smooth and soft.
Cons:
Not moisturizing enough alone for drier skin.
The absolutely ridiculous price! A 1-ounce bottle sells for a whopping $190. If I were to spend that much money on skincare, I'd rather use the money toward some sort of treatment from a dermatologist, like botox or laser treatment.
Overall, I find it hard to believe that this product is worth the price.

I'm sure glad I bought this at Marshalls for $12, but even that was too much for this product. With something this expensive in specialty stores, you should have results in a week, but this does absolutely nothing. I feel sorry for gals who spent a lot of money on this, what a scam. It doesn't moisturize at all, it doesn't do anything. Voss Labs is a joke.

This was a waste of money. It did nothing for my skin. It balls up upon application and falls onto your clothes. And, after using it for several weeks, I developed an allergy to it.

If I could justify spending $200 on a facial moisturizer I would. I had no idea what it was when I received a sample of Amatokin face emulsion in my Sephora package. I threw it in the back of my drawer and forgot about it until I ran out of my nightime moisturizer. As soon as I put it on I could feel a difference. The texture is amazing and it made my skin feel so soft and smooth. It immediately absorbed into my skin and when I woke up in the morning it was amazing. I went online to order it thinking it would cost maybe $35-50 and when I saw the price I changed my mind. I'm 25 years old and I shouldn't need to spend that much on my skin.

This is a complete waste of money. I am convinced the science behind it is all hype. All the b.s. about a Top secret guarded russsian lab and skin regeneration. At best it is a good mosturizer that plumps up the skin and thereby makes it looks better. But you get that result for like $12 at the drugstore. Im 35 and have taken good care of my skin by eating well, avoiding the sun etc. So my face is pretty unlined for my age. Except for one expression line that I hate on the very top of my nose right between the eyes. I figured $175 was worth it to get rid of it or at least reduce it a lot. I would say its deeper that a fine line but not very deep. I used this riduclous product twice a day for six weeks ,massaging in a pea sized amount in that area and waiting like 5 mins before applying sunscreen and makeup. The results? Absolutely nothing. In fact i think it got a little deeper because i had discontinued my Super CP serum by Skin Biology. I sure wont be buying this again or any other Voss/Kein-Becker product! StirVectin had made my skin blotchy and uneven, but I fell for the hype of eternal youth again! What an idiot I am!

I love absolutely LOVE Amatokin!!! I am 26, while deeper wrinkles under my eyes due to my face shape. Amatokin has collegon boosting peptides in it to help reduce the depth of wrinkles. I use this after my eye serum and before my eye cream. I use this twice a day just under my eyes since that's my only area of concern. I have never had an allergic reaction to the cream, which I feel very lucky to.
Women have to realize that there is no product on the market, regardless of claims, that will make wrinkles completely disappear. But products can help reduce the appearance of them. And this product does just that. The price is somewhat expensive at about $170, but if I only use this under my eyes, then this should last at least a year or so. It comes in a pump bottle which I really like because that keeps the product more fresh so that the ingredients don't dissipate.
I was told that this is the number 1 selling facial treatment at Sephora in France.
If you have the money to splurge on this, then give it a shot. If you buy it and don't like it, then hell, swap it to me :)

I bought this product and broke out in hives all over my body. This product is the biggest gimmick Voss labs has ever perpretrated on aging women ever. They have set up a sham website called www.everyopinioncounts.com which has numerous glowing reviews, all of which you can tell were written by the same person and fake. When I tried to leave an opinion however it is impossible. I should have known better! I bought their other product strivectin which did absolutely nothing...this company should be shut down permanently. They have no proof behind their claims "to erase wrinkles". They have no before and after pictures like botox cosmetic does.If this really does take you back 10 years this product would be hard to find AND even more expensive.Remember Jan Marini eyelash intervention? When the first product got pulled it sold for 300 a tube on ebay. Why???Because it really worked. This product does not and its price is reflected on ebay,it can be had for cheaper than retail, but no refund.Make sure if you buy it, buy it from Voss so you can get a refund, thats what I did.

I have been using Amatokin for a month now, and am very happy with the results. I disagree with the previous poster about it not being useful for younger skin, because I'm only 26, but I have some sun damage, wrinkles, and blotchy skin, and Amatokin has improved all of those areas for me. My skin is smoother, wrinkles are less noticeable, and my skin tone is so much better. I've always had a problem with breakouts, but it seems like even that issue has improved- when I do get them they are less severe and disappear quickly (I can't say for sure if Amatokin has helped this or not, because I used to use too many products and switched products often, so that could have been the culprit for the breakouts). I can actually look in the mirror without grimacing when I have no makeup on... which is saying alot! I have already purchased a second bottle, but the first one has lasted me over a month now using twice daily so in spite of the price I'm pleased that a little goes a long way and it has lasted a while. One pump is enough for the entire face. I use it around my eyes as well with no irritation. I've been carded for cigarettes (yeah I know, that's probably how I got the wrinkles in the first place!) 3 times within the last few weeks, and that never used to happen. I'll try to come back and update after my second bottle, but so far I am loving this! It is actually all I use now with the exception of my cleanser and the occasional salicylic acid for breakouts. Definitely worth a try in my opinion!
UPDATE: I'm so disappointed. I'm on my second bottle and within the last few weeks have had some irritation / breakouts. I have stopped using Amatokin to see if it is the culprit, but I suspect it is because everything else in my routine has stayed the same. *sigh*

What. A. Waste. After reading about this product in New Beauty magazine and memorizing the catchphrase about it being the possible "Fountain of Youth" in a bottle, yawn, I bought it and it did zilch. Good thing I sent it back for a refund. Kind of wondered when Klein Becker took over the product for Voss Labs. Guess that's why.

I have used Amatokin for a couple of months (started with a sample and then a free trial). Amatokin advertizes the same concept (regenerating your own adult stem cells) as Peau Magnifique, developed by ReVive's founder, Dr. Brown, who uses Nobel prize winning technology in his product line.(I used and LOVE PM and wrote a review on it, if you're interested). However, Amatokin uses a different molecule than PM. Amatokin seemed to work for me at first, although I did not see nearly as dramatic or long lasting results as I did with ReVive's PM (dermatologist agrees). Negative: Amatokin aggravates my rosacea (while PM does not). Positive: Amatokin is far less expensive than PM. Initial results - a slight reduction of vertical lip lines and lightening of persistent age spots (that keep coming back no matter what I use because I spend a lot of time in the SW sun). I plan to continue using Amatokin once daily to maintain results (per directions). I will also re-use PM every year or two (depending on LONG TERM Amatokin results).**** UPDATE: AFTER USING AMATOKIN ONCE OR TWICE DAILY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, THE IRRITATION HAS DRAMATICALLY INCREASED AND THE RESULTS HAVE DRAMATICALLY DIMINISHED. AMATOKIN IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AS GOOD AS PM!!!! MY DERM AGREES AND SAYS THE REDNESS ISN'T WORTH IT, EITHER. I AM GOING BACK TO REVIVE PM, even if I can only afford to use occasionally.
