This color is way to dark for me. I love the packaging and I normally love the Bare Escentuals lipsticks but this one just didn't do it for me.

I love this lipstick. Its my everyday, lipstick I wear while I'm teaching. Its a my lips but better color on my NC 20-25 Asian skin. I find this lipstick is also moisturizing on my often dry lips! Its creamy and not too matte but not too glossy either, which I personally hate. I like a lot of the BE lipsticks, they're great if you're looking for a color that is more "natural". I would definitely repurchase and recommend to others!

I've been using this lipstick nearly everyday for 2 months and I just love it. It's a pink rose color that compliments my fair skin tone and I could see it working well on a variety of tones. The texture is velvety and creamy and you can vary the depth of the color by patting it on or applying it a bit thicker. It's also really great with gloss layered over it. I knocked a star off before of the smell/taste - it definitely has that old lady lipstick thing going which is too bad. Other than that though it's fantastic so I'd be willing to overlook that factor and repurchase.

I just recently purchased this lipstick after discovering a lovely local boutique carries BM. This color for me is YLBB and I really love it. I love it so much I'm carrying it with me daily, which is a rare thing for me nowadays considering the most I will take with me is lip balm.
The color is a lovely rose, which looks much darker in the tube than it does on the lips. It wears a little quicker (hence the four lippies instead of five) than I would like, but considering it is fairly moisturizing and does not dry my lips out at all, I will take the more frequent application over chapped lips. I have been layering it with gloss and I really like it. I had intended to buy a more nude color, rather than a rosey color, but I am perfectly happy with this shade as my daily color.
UPDATE August 2012. This, combined with the honey lip gloss, are my daily lip colors. LOVE IT. I took a chance and am still using it. I've never used a lipstick color that often, but this is really a fantastic color and product.

This is a beautiful color and on my lips looks very natural, which is my preferred look. I love a thicker, drier (as opposed to glossier) finish and this has it. I also love the case which is silly but I love the feeling in my hand. I bought a threesome pack of these lipsticks from QVC and this is the first one I'm wearing. I like what I see so far.

a bit torn on this one. i love the color -- it's a perfect, flattering everyday rose tone that doesn't turn orange at all like so many shades do on me. and it's long-wearing. the only downside is that it's definitely drying. however, i rarely use a tube of lipstick up, and this one's almost empty because i wear it so often! so at $15, i will likely repurchase.

I love Bare Escentials and I REALLY love the Natural Lipcolor in rose crepe. My skin tone is fair with slightly pink undertones. The color is subtle but extremely sexy. It looks like I just bit my lips or got done with a lot of kissing ;-) The texture is creamy. I am prone to breakouts on my chin, especially when I use certain lipglosses, chapsticks, or lipsticks. I use this lipstick with Bare Escentials BUXOM in Krystal. I like to add the BUXOM because I like a glossy look. Also, I have yet to find one lipstick that isn't drying. The BUXOM seems to keep the lipstick color on longer and battle the dryness. Using BUXOM along with the lipstick obviously makes the price point go up. I think it's worth it. I love love love the color of this lipstick. I recently made my mother buy a stick. She bought the color Gingerbread which is subtle and no too orange. She has a similar fair skin tone. Overall, I'm a big fan!

I like Bare Minerals, but the rest of the Bare Escentuals line just isn't up to pare.
The color is beautiful - a pinked rose that darkens my lips by a few shades. But, the texture and smell are awful. The application is splotchy and dry, and the consistency makes my lips look withered from lack of moisture. It smells like a lipstick that has been around for too long rather than a tube fresh from Sephora. The color is enticing, but after trying this out for few days, I know I will not repurchase. I will probably keep it around to layer like a stain with balm or gloss. This just isn't creamy enough to wear by itself.

A pretty rosy pink, and very long lasting, leaves a good stain. Great for the gym!
Would have given 5 stars but it does not go on so smoothly, kinda dark in some areas, you have to smooth it out . Using a lip brush solves that!
The case feels good to hold, it would be nice if it was refillable though, it is a pretty big piece of plastic ( more landfill fillers.I mean since this is "natural" it would be nice to have it be earth friendly too)

Rose Crepe is a great lipstick color. Very natural even when I do not use gloss. I use BE Buxom Dolly gloss for daytime and BE Buxom Brandy when I want to be mroe dramatic. I am planning on buying another BE natural lipstick. They last on the lips.

One of the problems I had with Bare Escentuals lipsticks was that although they went on smoothly and had a lovely lavender scent, the color lasted for about a nanosecond. The Rose Crepe is one of the new formulations that addressed that not-so-long-lasting color thing, and the difference was noticeable in the feel of the application. Thicker, almost drier feeling, but not actually dry. The Rose Crepe is very natural on me - not too orange, and not clown red. It's really a lip color that might compliment many different skin tones. It gives me noticeable lip color but not noticeable makeup.

I purchased this in several colors my favorite being Red Delicious, a very wearable red, the lipstick is top quality, very smooth application, long lasting, non drying, and a 100% natural. Apply with a lipbrush for a more matte stain and directly from the tube for a dramatic look.

I felt the need to review this since so far the reviews are pretty lackluster. I for one really like this lipstick. The color is a nice rose color as it has already been described, and is pretty accurate in the pictures as to the shade. I like it so much because it is the perfect rose shade for me. I am very warm and for some reason many rose lippies just do not work on my skintone. For whatever reason, rose crepe is just perfect. It does not oxidize or change color on me. It is not cool at all. I apply it over lipbalm because it is, as mentioned below, very drying. I tend to find most lipsticks from most brands to be drying, including BB, so for me this is nothing out of the ordinary. Applying it over balm is nice because it sheers out the color and gives me a great natural stained flush look to my lips. The packaging is interesting, it has a soft rubbery feel similar to the material used for NARS lipsticks, but this one is shaped with round half-circles. It makes the whole thing a bit heavy, but that is no reason not to buy or try this lipstick. Overall, this is a definite winner for me and I have been using it daily since I bought it. I have never finished a lipstick, but if i did finish this one, I would repurchase.

I second the previous reviewer. Except I do not think the shade is ultimately flattering for my coloring. It appeared SO much cooler in the Sephora catalog and would have been perfect if it had actually been the shade portrayed! For me, it oxidizes to an orangey shade, not a cool enough rose.

I bought this lipstick yesterday at Sephora. I am a devoted Bare Escentuals foundation fan, but I have never been that into their lipsticks.
Unfortunately, my disenchantment with their lipstick continues after trying this product.
COLOR:
This is a gorgeous non-shimmery color - I will say that. "Rose Crepe" is a Sephora exclusive (all the more reason I just had to have it, and is sold out on their website). The color is a deep rose, but not unlike any other creamy deep rose color I have in my makeup drawer - like Soft Rose by Bobbi Brown. I paired Rose Crepe with "Cameo" lip liner by Prestige and "Inspired" It Gloss from Stila.
TEXTURE:
The texture of this lipstick can best be described as SUPER DRY. I am glad I put balm on first because I don't think I could have applied this lipstick without it. I had to press down a bit to get more color on my lips. Maybe it will soften once I use it a few times, but so far I am not impressed with the texture AT ALL. When I use my Bobbi Brown lipsticks, they glide on smoothly and this just did not. It felt almost like a cheap, drugstore lipstick.
PACKAGING:
The packaging is a soft-touch case - kind of like the Arissa lipsticks from Walgreens (if you are familiar with those). It's a black, bulky case that clicks when you close it all the way. Nothing special.
I was very excited over this product because it doesn't contain any chemical preservatives and that was why I went right out and bought it. Overall it's an okay lipstick. I will use it from time to time, but I don't know if I would purchase another color from the 100% Natural Lipcolor line. I have used better.
UPDATE: I put it on and a little while later it had rubbed off and my lips were so dry I had to put lip balm on. I returned it that night to Sephora! ICK!
