Probably the girliest perfume I have ever smelled. Creamy, powdery, violet raspberry. Wear it if you want a LOT of attention. Also, the lasting power is very good. (I would expect nothing less of Guerlain).

This perfume smells amazing, but it gave me a horribe, nauseating headache each and every time I tried to wear it. i now wear Guerlain L'instant, which smells just as amazing...minus the headache. Guerlain Idylle also provided the same behind the eyes throbbing headache as My Insolence.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Olive Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Brown
I love this scent, its so pretty! I have the Insolence perfume, but this one *My Insolence* is so much sweeter and smell alot like incense. Got that eastern feeling to it. I will repurchase this, its one of my must-haves!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I have the small travel spray version of this to sample, it's a bit too powdery for my taste. I still wear it from time to time when I'm not trying to impress anyone.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
Sweet, powdery gourmand. Best part is drydown which to me is very close to the scent of Montale's Sweet Oriental Dream but softer and a bit less dry. I have and wear both but I prefer the Guerlain as it is less linear and softer.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair, Cool Hair: Red, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
All in all I love this fragrance. I only gave it four marks because the initial blast of this is cheap, plasticky, and dare I say, old lady. But the drydown is the real winner here. On me it smells sweet and almost like insense. Very interesting! I get a lot of "oh you smell nice" and then they seem to linger around me for a bit lol. I will definetly repurchase this!

They got the name of this one right. It's called My Insolence because it gives a great big NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH, NEENER NEENER NEENER to good taste.
Age: Unknown Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Guerlain My Insolence is at its best during the drydown left behind on my clothes. Initially, it's a warm creamy berry that dries down to a musky skin scent. For me, it fades very quickly but that's normal on my absorbent skin. However, I'll soon catch a whiff of it if I manage to spray on my sweater or pjs, and then it's total love. It retains all the positives of the top notes but somehow adds a depth that I wish would show on my skin. Still, I never remember to manage to spray on my clothes rather than my skin. Maybe I'll try spraying the air and doing a walk through and see if that produces the same results.

Mmmm....love it! It reminds me of parma violets and sugary sweets! It can be strong and almost chemically sweet at first but after a few minutes it is lovely. One of my favourite perfumes! And a gorgeous bottle of course!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair, Cool Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
ITS PERFECT! this is nothing alike with the elder sister Insolence which is a mature scent. My Insolence is very younger than her sister, a girlie scent but doesnt smell cheap, can say that this one is a luxury n beautiful scent. On me it smells raspberry ice cream, with slighly musk at the base, like something embrace my skin. Cant stop sniffing it, I got compliments of this more than the Insolence.

This one of the present mainstream Guerlain fragrances. It is a raspberry-almond confection which is marketed more towards teens, maybe 20-somethings. It is a flanker of Insolence, though the only resemblance I see to Insolence is the berry note. It has a very strong chemical-plasticky note, and this one brings on my allergies. Insolence has character but is offensive to some. My Insolence is softer and less offensive but lacks character, This lacks the beauty and the depth of the classic Guerlains--Shalimar, Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, etc.--and in my opinion, is the worst of the newer releases--L'Instant, Insolence and Idylle. It gets two lippies only because it is a Guerlain and is being held to very high standards.

I really do love this product. It has such a sweet smell that makes me feel really happy! The frangrance lasts on the skin for ages which is great. The bottle is really cute too and it wasn't as expensive as others I've tried so it's good all round. I'll definitely buy this again when this bottle finally runs out :)

Let me say first that I am not a perfume junkie, or eau-de-toilette addict. I've got five that I love (Youth Dew, Shalimar, Nuit de Noel, Ombre Rose, and Beach), and it's taken me over two decades to compile this list. I have to hand to it to Saks; they know how to send a gift with purchase, and a surprise at that. With a m/u order, I received a $25 value of EDT Guerlain My Insolence. It was morning, I was up for testing it, so I sprayed it on each wrist, and let it do its thing.
At first, I thought, too musky, too clovey, a bit bitter. Oh well. Then 20 minutes passed, and I began to experience the end result of any great parfum which is called "drydown."
Let me tell you, I was going to re-purchase "Pleasures" by EL this spring because it is my spring fragrance and beloved by DD. This EDT has knocked it off the list. The scent on me is divine: almond and vanilla and sugary lemon toned down by a powdery rose and tonka bean. I am not one for sweet fruity fragrances and this fragrance is not sweet (in the cloying, saccharine way of cheap or imbalanced scents) but it is delightful, frivolous, fun, and even cheeky which I guess is how it got its name.
My DD has approved this replacement item because for her, "Pleasures" was me. But all good things come to an end, and the last time I spritzed "Pleasures," it was not exactly the same scent.
An hour has passed with My Insolence enchanting my skin and I keep sniffing it. The raspberry in it is marvelously blending with lemon and vanilla and jasmine to make it a very appleaing ambrosia of slightly floral and fruity. I guess I'm hooked.

I absolutely, positively love this fragrance! It helps that I found a 3.4 ounce bottle for $39 at TJ Maxx. I just think the mixture of raspberry and vanilla is mixed perfectly, soft and subtle. Just the right amount of floral and sweetness. Not headache inducing in my opinion at all. I hate patchouli and don't smell it all here, although it is listed in the ingredients. Will definitely purchase again!

Mmmm, I love My Insolence. I'm not usually into powdery perfumes, but this one has grown on me. It's a very mellow, sweet scent, and it lasts through the day. I actually prefer it for colder weather. Oh, and the bottle is to die for!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair, Warm Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Blue
My Insolence is in my top 3 favorite perfumes. It's quintessentially feminine through and through from the bottle shape to the fragrance. It's sexy, girly, and delicate. This is my "date night" perfume that gives me that little bit of confidence that always leads to compliments. Largely fragrance differs from person to person because of body chemistry, it smells absolutely lovely on me but smells like cat pee on a friend of mine. It's not for everyone, but give it a try next time you're in Sephora. :)

I fell for this scent a few years ago on a magazine strip and it was not until Fall '08 that I got to smell the actual juice. I squirted, went home and loved it. Promptly ordered from a ebayer for an excellent price. This year (Fall '09), my nose is growing/changing....where My Insolence was perfect for me last year, I am now embracing orientals and woods and now MI is just sooooo sweet to me. I'd spray every pulse point with it before....now I can only bear to spritz my inner arm and even now i'm considering moving that down to the wrists only....
That said, for a moment this was my favorite fragrance. If you are in a "sweet" phase, this may definitely be perfect for you. If you've moved beyond the sweet and fruity then this will be too much. It is a strong fragrance, great sillage, and the lasting power is serious.

One of my favorite scents for the cooler months. It's such a cozy up in a blanket and read a good book smell! This perfume requires a light hand however, because I find that more than one spritz is too overpowering and distracts from the true softness of this scent.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond, Relaxed, Medium Eyes: Blue
This is a nice perfume, though i like the original insolence better..i have owned that one for a few years and it's my favorite! My insolence is nice as well but there is something in it that doesnt agree with me upon the first few mintutes of wearing it..of coarse after about an hour it smells wonderful and i like it much better, I wont buy it again and definitely glad i didnt pay retail price for it. i would wear this all year round, it fits all the seasons.

I sprayed it on at the airport while I was waiting for my flight, being bored. I liked the opening, soft, floral, sweet, but then it turned vile on me. Must be my chemistry. It had a strong plasticy smell on me and was giving me a terrible headache. I went to the loo twice during the short flight trying to srub it off, quite unsuccesfully. So I guess the staying power is pretty good.
