My biggest complaint is Tresemme makes these huge bottles and no pump. Sure I could go buy one but wouldn't it just be common sense to add a pump?

My hair was dry and breaking but my scalp was oily. The amount of products I had tried was a small mountain. The money that I wasted was starting to really bother me. I have very sensitive skin and so many things would work but then cause skin issues. I really wanted to use something natural but nothing worked. My hair does well with Wen but skin reacted to it.

On a whim I picked this up at the store. It was love at first use. It has continued to work really well for me months later. I would like a tad more moisture from the shampoo but the conditioner adds enough.

My hair is shiny, smooth and yes silky. I also have less tangle issues. When blow drying I do not have the breakage. Before I would see tons of short hair all over the skin. Now that is not a problem.

Scent is pretty light. I'm not sure how to describe it. Clean but not soapy. Does not bother my sinuses.

Warning: if your hair does not do well with cones and you like using matching conditioners avoid this product. The matching conditioner is loaded with cones. I for one do fine with cones and I use a chelating shampoo weekly. If you don't want cones but would like to use this shampoo I suggest giving the Tresemme moisture naturals conditioner a try.

I just used this shampoo & conditioner yesterday for the first time.. and I know its too soon to review it.. But I'm absolutely floored by the sheer awesomeness that this duo is! My hair is of medium length and thickness.. My previous regime included products by Herbal Essences.. I got carried away by their quirky packaging and fragrances .. BIG MISTAKE.. That stuff made my hair terrible.. greasy roots and dry ends.. limp and flat altogether.. so Tresemme came to the rescue! All I can say is that the damage is reversed! My hair is so soft and silky with just one wash that its unbelieveable.. My hair is a combination of straight and wavy.. and this made them look just right - sleek, shiny yet bouncy enough to enhance the waves.. and there has been absolutely no grease or dryness.. just the perfect balance! Simple, no-nonsense packaging, a pretty fragrance and plus its all super affordable, whats not to love?

PS. I'll keep on updating since after a while in some cases the results tend to vary. but as of now.. this has surpassed my expectations!

Does not make my hair fall out, but I can't see any silkiness or smoothness, still frizzy and dry...

I have been fighting a losing battle with acne on my face, chest and back since giving birth to my children and tried everything under the sun to get rid of the problem. Last week, I decided to try going back to a shampoo I used to use before I had this problem, when my skin was clear, and I stopped using Tresemme. My acne disappeared within 5 days. I was thrilled but also very upset that not one doctor (saw GP, dermatologist, and Naturopathic doctor) ever asked me what products I used regularly, and only shoved the products at me that THEY wanted me to use/buy. I WISH there was at least one person out there who had suggested that this could be the problem so I could have had relief a long time ago. I plan to share this with everyone I encounter with skin issues, and I thank YOU for putting it out into cyberspace for me to confirm my suspicions about this horrible product. I can't believe I might actually have a blemish-free future, something I thought I'd never have. Best of luck to all of you.

Before I started using this shampoo, I was using herbal essences moisture shampoo. After switching to this, I was disappointed in the way my hair felt. It left it dry and didn't smooth out anything for me. The conditioner is fine but I did not like the shampoo.

Since it's Tresemme, I thought i'd be really good but it barely suds & it felt like it made my hair even more dry. Once I get out and my hair is damp it feels ok but no difference at all. I don't think I would buy this product again. It may work for someone else's hair but for sure not mine. My hair just doesn't agree with it. I'm still looking for that amazing Shampoo & Condition for my hair, this one wasn't it.

I bought it in Grocery Outlet yesterday with other stuff and of course the deal is SO GOOD ( $3.99 for almost 900ml+ ). The smell is normal, not that fancy and I just dyed my hair 24 hrs before using this big boy. OMG, I didn't expect much from it but my hair did feel so soft! As if I had mixed a little conditioner with it but no, the quality itself is such a wonderful experience for me. It gonna last me for awhile but of course I will purchase it again!

I love this stuff! I have very thick, coarse hair prone to breakage, and am unusually prone to the greasies. This shampoo keeps my hair nice and clean-- I usually repeat once though, just to make sure I really got the grease out. Just make sure to rinse well! I follow it up with Aussie 3 minute miracle, and the combo does wonders. My frizz is controlled! My hair is healthy! Recently, at the salon, everyone was telling me NOT to dye my hair because the natural color is so pretty-- I have naturally light brown hair that my family deemed "potato" colored that thanks to this shampoo is shiny and bouncy and frizz free. Plus, dirt cheap. Packaging is okay, its a little cumbersome in the shower to use such a big bottle-- I hear walmart sells them with pumps, which might make the bottle easier to use. The smell is a little odd to me, but my aussie conditioner covers it up.

Pros: Left my hair shiny/bouncy; natural color improvement; nice, clean feeling; dirt cheap, lasts forever.

Cons: bottle is very big, can be quite annoying; smell leaves something to be desired.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT WITH THE CONDITIONER!
honestly in 1 use, my hair is super silky and soft. the conditioner doesnt weight down my hair at all. My hair used to get frizzy after i would get out the shower and let it air dry, but after trying both the shampoo and conditioner, my hair never again dried frizzy. Shampoo lathers really well but i would repeat the shampoo process in the shower twice. YOU MUST follow up with the conditioner with this shampoo because it does wonders.

REALLY great for its price. I'm really won over by Tresemme products. It's good quality for drug store brand, even a stylist has confirmed this. I use this shampoo together along with the conditioner. I have to agree with a reviewer below, the conditioner is great and really exceeds the shampoo. I wouldn't say exceed, they're like bread and butter together. The shampoo cleanses really well, smells great, and I noticed a difference in how silky my hair was. I haven't noticed a change in any shampoo really till I use this. I really like it and would definitely be sticking to it.

The Smooth and Silky conditioner is far superior to this shampoo. My hair is dyed and dry and the difference was wow when I switched from this shampoo to Aussie Moist. I kept the same exact conditioner and style routine, all I changed was the shampoo and that one did a far better job of hydrating my hair!

All I can say is I got my hair back! I have red, curly/wavy, coarse, frizzy hair that right now is mid back length. Recently (in an effort to have some all over uniformity) I got a perm on just the top layer - bad idea!
I've been a long term Aussie user, & before that I used everything from Pantene to Suave (my once HG), to Biolage. This perm screwed my hair.
I LOVE my hair again, in just two days. No more tangles, noticeably less hair loss, & mostly, I have shiny, smooth, happy hair again!
It curls like it should, it's shiny, it's soft, & this is the best part - If I want to spend the time to straighten my hair, it's smooth & shiny then too. But if I don't, it's still awesome curls. Not weighed down, not greasy, just awesome hair. I can't say enough about this shampoo & its matching conditioner!
I love that it comes in a HUGE bottle for around $3. Great for those of us on a budget that have crazy hair!
**EDIT**
I take it all back... After a month, there was so much buildup I changed. Try Biotera instead.

This shampoo is okay; I used it with the Smooth & Silky conditioner for a few months and my hair was fine for a while but then I started using my curling iron every other day (which heats up to 450 degrees) and this shampoo and conditioner didn't seem to cut it anymore. My hair needs something more moisturizing or it turns into straw. The problem is, I have a very sensitive scalp and the hard water where I live now seems to leave my scalp feeling itchy (I'm assuming it's because all the shampoo and conditioner isn't rinsing out like it should and is leaving a bit of residue because of the hard water.) I can't use products with a bunch of silicones or oils because they make me super itchy and break me out. The Tresemme S+C weren't making me itchy at first but now they're starting to so I purchased some sample bottles of Enjoy Luxury S+C, which I've read rave reviews about and don't contain lots of oils or sulfates. I'm giving up on the Tresemme for now and still hunting for my HG S+C

I don't use Tresemme regularly, but whenever I'm short on cash I can always count on Tresemme to give me a large amount of good product for a low price. The Smooth & Silky is my favorite shampoo/ conditioner set that Tresemme makes. The shampoo cleans really well and doesn't dry my hair. I find this stuff works great for smoothing my hair also. It makes my hair so soft. My boyfriend uses it to and his hair feels amazing. I would definitely keep this around.

The smell is nice. The packaging a little clumsy - big bottle, but really good price for the amount you get. So I was really excited to try this shampoo (and the Conditioner) after reading mostly good ratings and comments, BUT... My hair has been just so tangled and horrible to deal with since I started using this.. I told myself to be patient and let the product do it's work and see how it is after a month or two. It has Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate AND Ammonium Laureth Sulfate in it, I don't know about others, but my hair is not pleased with how harsh this product is! I had been using Aquage before this and still have some left, which I am using now every other shower, to combat the severe dryness the Tresemme product leaves my hair with.. Once I run out of my Aquage shampoo I will buy a different one to switch to every other shower, because my hair just can't take the Tresemme Smooth & Silky products every shower.. It's surprising how much I hate this shampoo, while I love the heat tamer spray from Tresemme, which is really the only thing along with my old shampoo that makes my hair smooth & silky. I will not be purchasing this again, and I am wondering if I should even try any other Tresemme sampoos/conditioners because of this horrible experience.

Beware - this stuff smells horrible! I'm surprised this shampoo has received so many good reviews. It's nothing special and doesn't leave my hair silky and smooth like the name implies.

The worst part is that I can't even bear to use it - it smells so bad. It's like a formaldehyde chemical smell with fake strawberry added. My husband (who is not picky by any means) won't even use it, it smells so bad. Now I'm stuck with a big jug of this stuff. I'm trying to finish it off - I literally hold my breath when I'm using it.

I love this shampoo. I have thick, supershort hair that is dyed black. I try to stay away from a lot of volumizing shampoos because they strip my colour, but most moisturizing products, while salvaging the colour, make my hair really flat and greasy looking. Not so with this stuff. I bought it by accident when purchasing the volumizing conditioner, and I meant to get another shampoo in this line. I have been using this for about three months now, and I've noticed a serious difference in the texture of my hair. It's so bouncy and so soft! It cleans your hair just enough without stripping it, but you can still go a few days between washes. LOVE!!!
