I love this foundation. Goes on great covers broken and spider veins. Does not irritate my very sensitive rosacea skin. Only 4 ingredients and no bismuth hooray. Does not sit in pores. Flawless. The Bella Pierre website says you just need to sweep it on to the skin and not buff, but I do buff gently in just to make it more flawless. Contains jojoba oil which is excellent for problematic skin. Your skin will thank you for putting this little beauty on.
Pros:
Excellent coverage
Makes pores look smaller
Nothing harmful, only good ingredients
Not tested on animals
NO BISMUTH, why make-up companies are still put this in make-up is beyond me. Just a cheap, man-made nasty filler and I for one would not buy a single product containing it.
Lasts all day
Cons:
Colour range is not very good (limited), really needs to expand colours
Can be pricey to buy. QVC are quite reasonable as is Ebay
Packaging is a bit flimsy.
Can oxidise slightly
Overall, this really is a great foundation. I always return to this when my skin starts playing up (damn you rosacea). Would highly recommend this powder foundation if you prefer powder foundation.

I have combination skin and a few fine lines around my eyes, as well as a few red acne scars around my chin so I was wary of using a powder foundation, but oh my goodness i loveeeee this product!! All my worries were set aside after my first few days wearing it! Normally i find makeup just slides off my face by the end of the day but not with this, the coverage was perfect and I had no need for a consealer as i just loaded my smaller brush and applied some more over the problem area! Although this is a powder foundation it doesnt not feel tighten the skin, and feels very light! I had so many compliments since changing to this and im recommending it to so many friends and family that im probably starting to sound like a sales woman lol but this is such a good product I just had to write a review and share the love lol!!

I haven't been using it for long, so may need to revise the review. It's lovely to apply, especially with the Bella Pierre Kabuki brush, despite getting a bit powdery and messy in the container - but I guess they all do that when you apply with a brush. Haven't tried yet with the pad that is supplied, which fits inside the compact. I felt a bit concerned before using it, since a few reviewers have said that it sits heavy and enlarges their pores, and also that the ivory looks a bit masklike. The salesgirl in the store was very persuasive that ivory was the right colour for me, and I thought it looked rather pale. Anyway, it doesn't look as pale and masklike as I expected - there is some warmth in it, and the colour is fine once I have applied some blush or bronzer, or put it over a tinted moisturiser. I have not given it a 5 star because I do suspect that it does in fact enlarge my pores and fine lines somewhat - though I may be just imagining it. I'm in the older age bracket, so maybe it is more suitable for younger skin. But I'm loving using it so far and don't regret purchasing it, and especially the kabuki brush as well - it feels so soft and suits the texture of the powder so that it goes on very smoothly. I got these products cheaper online than from the store, but I don't know if those prices will last online. At full price, it is indeed expensive.
AN UPDATE - after using this for a while, I realise that it really does pay off if you use a good primer underneath. I think that solves the problem of it appearing to enlarge pores and emphasising fine lines in more mature skin. I've just ordered the Bella Pierre primer - don't really need it as I have a few others at home, but it sounds really good.

I gave this a 5 star rating because it is a very good product. The overall worth and price is on the high end, however I found the face starter kit on Clearance for $23 in Canada. I saved around $80-$100. The kit (medium) contains foundation in Ivory & Cinnamon, blush in Suede, and bronzer in Starshine. Also included is a concealer brush, angled blush brush, and loose foundation brush. The foundation goes on to a beautiful natural, matte finish, and the blush is Terra-Cotta color. The bronzer is light and makes a beautiful highlighting powder. The brushes are very nice, however had some shedding. But it may just need to be broken in. The foundation conceals redness and pores, however it can dry out fresh pimples. Which heals my acne fast, but left that dried out crusty look. I would recommend a creamy concealer instead. Products I have used in the past are Jane Iredale, Youngblood, and Elizabeth Arden.Overall, I would say Youngblood has the best coverage, but slides off during the day on oily skin. I would recommend it for people with dry skin. But for women with oily or combination or large pores....I would go with BellaPierre. Also, BellaPierre is healthier for the skin and will not clog pores. And I broke a beauty rule bu sleeping in the BellaPierre and had it on my face for over 24 hours...and it looked untouched, except for the dried out acne.

I have been using this for 2 weeks now and it has not caused me to breakout (knock on wood!). It feels natural on my skin and easy to apply. The only problem I had was with the color being a little dark for me. I purchased it in cinnamon because I have a light tan but I forgot that my face and neck was a lot lighter. I am thinking about purchasing the ivory and mixing the two. Overall, I am VERY happy with the product. Don't forget to moisturize before applying and having taking it off. That way you won't get dry from it.

This stuff is fantastic! So natural looking, I have had so many compliments on my skin since wearing it. It doesn't clog my pores like BE did.
Only reason I can't give 5 stars, is the color cinnamon in the compact has a reddish (terracotta like) undertone that makes me look odd. The loose powder in the same color looks fine, but since my skin is very oily, i prefer the compact that has a matte finish.
I ordered mine on Amazon and got a reasonable price. It is odd how the company website is so expensive compared to their amazon store...
I also own their primer which is great! doesn't clog my pores and controls shine.
After trying many mineral foundations and powder foundations, this is my favorite thus far.

I purchased this with a groupon of some kind. i was like, eh, whatever, it's a good deal, why not try. i have to say, i'm pleasantly surprised by the results. compared to BE, it feels more lightweight and i experienced no slippage during the day; with BE - i was a greasy mess by mid- to late day and i have combo skin; that shouldn't happen. anyway, i got a starter kit and i combine ivory and cinnamon. totally happy at the moment.

This company is a rip off. I went to the Planet Hollywood kiosk and they were charging $100 for foundation, blush and primer which are far cheaper on the bellapierre website. They sold the make up brushes for double the price on the website. It is terrible they are so dishonest.

*IM REVIEWING THE COMPACT GET IT, ITS BETTER*
IF YOU HAVE ACNE/BLEMISH PRONE SKIN THIS IS THE FOUNDATION FOR YOU!
I have never written a review for anything before but this foundation is seriously so good you really have to try it!
To make it quick
PROS
- FULL coverage and I;ve got acne scars since I was 13
- If I have cysts and whiteheads by the end of the day it is dried out & flat (then a couple of days its gone)
- 20% zinc as opposed to other foundations containing 2%
- If you do sleep in it you won;t break out
- Waterproof
- Sturdy and convenient packaging
- Stays on all day
- Doesnt break me out
- No expiry date
CONS
- Price
- Packaging does look cheap
- Accessibility
- Shades are limited
- Weird staff
I wear this foundation every single day and it doesnt break me out, it actually heals and makes my skin better. Ive been using it for 4 months and its just a small "dent" in my compact so this compact will last me ages
I found this on the internet and went into House of Fraser, the price is £40 but if you do know your shade you can order it from loads of online shops (found it for £16 - annoyed now).
When I brought it the staff really did seem OTT but I'm glad I brought this - it really is a miracle for those with oily skin. As long as you put primer first, it lasts ALL day. I'm used to liquid so when I found that it didn't make any excess marks on clothes and didn't look "cakey" I was shocked. As this brand isn't that well known I thought it would be dodgy - but the guy said theres only 4 ingredients so you wont get a reaction or anything. Even cancer patients who cant wear make up due to getting into their bloodstream has raved about the health benefits of this. There is no expiry date and I'm happy to stock up on this! HG HG HG
GET IT!

This stuff is genuinely amazing, HG product for me. I have oily, acne-prone skin that breaks out when I use liquid foundation, but because of break outs I can't stop wearing it! Vicious cycle. catch 22 nonsense. ANyway, my sister uses this bella pierre stuff and she told me that since using it she hasn't had any breakouts, so today I was like ok I'll try it. Ok, THIS STUFF IS THE BOMB. I applied it with a mini kabuki brush, and it was like erasing my redness. And then when I went in with a concealer brush, not even any special one just a normal concealer brush, it totally covered all my blemishes. NOTHING does that for me. I couldn't actually believe it. Plus the color matched so perfectly it looked like I wasn't wearing anything. On my face, I mean. My sister tells me it's pretty expensive but come on, SERIOUSLY I have spent more on foundations that didn't work so I think it's fully worth it.
EDIT I don't know if this will help anyone but worked so well for me: it's that time of the month and I broke out with a couple cystic fellers, nothing major but it just needed extra coverage and so I mixed LUSH's Grease Lightening with the Bella Pierre and applied it with a small foundation brush. It definitely helped clear up my blemishes, it's day 2 since I've been doing this and my blemishes are fast disappearing. The only issue with it is it slightly darkened the foundation color, not to bad though. It was difficult to work with the mixture as well, I had to just paint it on my face before it dried lol. HOWEVER, the coverage (after extra concealing with a concealer brush as before) was increased, it helped get rid of the blemishes, and when I had worn the foundation for longer than 20 minutes it looked really nice and natural. MAYbe not the best for those with dry skin, or skin that needs extra coverage, but for me it was perfecto!!!

My coworker recently introduced me to this product and I am extremely happy she did. I love this mineral foundation. I use it on its own if I just want some light coverage or I put it over a liquid foundation if I feel I need extra coverage.
I find even on its own, it is buildable to give great coverage giving you flawless looking skin without a makeupy/cakey/powdery look. I think the packaging has recently changed which is great because it has a swivel thing on top to close so the powder doesnt get through the little holes and get everywhere.
I get this in Australia for $30 on deal websites including brandsexclusive.com.au, ozsale.com.au and buyinvite.com.au. I think it actually retails for around $80-$90 here. I am actually going to stock up because it is currently on sale now so that is a definite yes for repurchase and I would definitely recommend it.

I have been using the bellapierre loose powder mineral foundation for about an year now. I have a caramel skintone and it can be very difficult to get a decent match for it. In fact the sales assistant had to try two different shades before settling on the perfect shade which for me, was brownsugar. Because it looks so light and natural people dont even know i am wearing makeup and they often compliment me on how nice my "skin" looks. I also love the fact that it can be used as a concealer when you use it with the bellapierre concealer brush. This means I dont have to spend extra money on a concealer AND theres one less product in my makeup bag! :) My only issue with it is the price, but it works so well i have no choice but to keep on buying! LOVE IT! :)

i bought the bellapierre loose mineral foundation in Cinnamon online, which suited my asian fair-medium skin tone really well. (unfortunately didn't manage to do a colour match as there wasn't a bellapierre outlet/booth near where i live.)
This foundation does wonders. I have combination skin and I've only used translucent loose powder in the past. This felt very light on the skin (maybe it's psychological!) and looked really natural on my skin. I would say it gives a reasonably good coverage, and it doubles as a concealer as well esp for the lighter blemishes. I apply it using a brush and i'm pleased with the result! Haven't left it on for a whole day, so can't comment on how well it lasts. I'm not sure if it's a new packaging they've introduced, but my container had a turning thing to cover the wee holes when it's not in use - prevents wastage and less messy!
amazing product, pricey but i think i'll be using it for quite a while! love it.

Love this product! i'm always looking for minerals that give your face a 'luminious glow' and this one did just that. I started off with the starter kit --which contains 2 mineral foundations, 1 blush, 1 bronzer, and 3 brushes (foundation, concealer, and blush brush) then i tried the all over eyes and face kit --which contains 1 mineral foundation, 1 blush, 2 shimmer powders, 1 make up base, 1 eye shadow brush and 1 powder brush. The only thing i don't like about this product is the blush. It is way to dark for my skin but other than that, im totally satisfied!

I love the BellaPierre shimmer pigments, and I've been wanting to try their foundation for a while, but it's very expensive.
However, I've started to see their kits in Winners running from $15-30.
I purchased the All Over Eye and Face Kit in Fair. This kit comes with Ivory Foundation (9g), Desert Rose Blush (9g), a makeup base, two shimmer pigments, a foundation brush and an eyeshadow brush.
I love this foundation. It matches my skin perfectly and gives great coverage. I find to get it on nicely I stiple first, then buff it in.
The only downside is the crappy packaging. It can be a bit messy (and wasteful if you've got powder in the lid that falls out).
Still, well worth it for $30. I would pay more for this now that I know it's good, but not their online prices. The mall kiosks are usually a bit better.
UPDATE:
I find that through the day this tends to come off in patches on my skin. It also sinks into my pores and emphasizes them.

I have tried many minerals foundations before and liked most of them. I have oily skin so, am very partial to powder foundations.
I never realized before all of the added ingredients that companies throw in there products to make it cheaper for them. These added ingredients are what cause most people to have some sort of reaction, whether it be just redness, dryness or breakouts etc.
I love the fact that BP is all natural and hypo-allergenic. It is perfect for any skin type. I fell in love with the pigments first, which are absolutely amazing- Ive never seen anything like them. Then I tried the foundation, I will never use anything else now. I even got my sister to try it, who has extremely dry, sensitive skin (with eczema) and it has improved the look and feel of her skin as well!
I feel like this is a revolution in the world of cosmetics :)
On a side note- I also love the "makeup base" which is basically an eyeshadow primer but can also be used as a concealer. I use it as an under eye concealer, it also makes your makeup water proof. so if my eyes water (which they do a lot) my makeup wont run! If you like a full coverage for foundation, it would save a lot of foundation to use this as a concealer first, then use your powder :) I have done this before and I guess because of the natural ingredients it doesnt cause you to breakout either. LOVE this stuff!!!

This is the first mineral makeup foundation I've tried. I got the Get Started Kit (Medium) which includes 2 small size (4g) foundation (Ivory, Cinnamon), 1 small size blush (Suede), 1 small size bronzer (Starshine) and 3 brushes (mix of goat and sable hair, concealer brush, blush brush & foundation brush) for AUD$60.
Foundation,
Colour Match: My light Asian skin tone is between Ivory (straight application looks like a geisha mask on me) & Cinnamon (straight applicaiton makes me look really yellow), so I mix them in a swirl bowl to get the correct shade.
Texture: The powder is fine and the ingredient is simple! However, I found this quite dry on my skin (my skin is normal to dry), some toner spray after helps to set the powder and the dryness.
Coverage: It's buildible and can be used as concealer (I use Ivory straight for my hyperpigmentation spots on my cheek, a little frekle is cute but when it's a whole cluster...). Matt finish.
Blush & Bronzer,
The blush & bronzer medium colour kit included is too dark for my skintone, they're not something I could wear everyday and somehow makes my skin looks yellow (especially the bronzer).
Brushes,
The brushes hair is soft and full! Doesn't irritate delicate skin around face/neck. The hair fall out a little initially but settle within days.
I think this is a reasonable product (very simple ingredient, unless you have super sensitive skin that reacts to mica), but I probably won't purchase it again as I prefer a more dewy foundation finish and Bella Pierre only have 1 formulation of foundation at this stage.

I was looking for a light/medium coverage liquid foundation and decided to give this brand a go. The consultant took less than 5 minutes to prime my face and apply the foundation. It is an instant glow, medium coverage and feels very breathable and light on my face. I am asian with combination skin and my skin felt like it wasn't wearing any make up at all.
Luckily, I have good skin to begin with and this mineral powder served to remove my need for a light concealer for undereyes and redness around the nose.
It is quite pricey, but when you consider how much time it saves you overall, on top of removing the cost of a concealer and setting powder I feel it's justified.

I love this foundation and will keep buying it for as long as they keep making it :)
Pros
- Good coverage (I don't have any pimples so I'm not sure if it would work for covering them, but it covers my freckles without concealer which I love)
- The lady I bought it from matched it to my skin perfectly (I'm very fair and usually I'm given something too dark)
- I've been using it for about 3 months now and it hasn't made me break out or given me a rash, and I have VERY sensitive skin.
- Easily washes off with a makeup wipe.
- Only contains 4 ingredients (mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, iron oxides)
Cons
- A little expensive, but when you realize how little product you use, and that it expires after 36 months, it does seem worth it.
- The packaging is really crappy, I'm sure if you're not careful you could loose a lot of product. I have been putting a folded up tissue inside the lid to stop the powder escaping but it is annoying to have to do so.

I started using Bella Pierre Mineral Foundation 3 years ago.
I was skeptical because I needed medium coverage as I breakout from time to time.
You can control the amount of coverage by layering so this is a bonus. It feels great on my skin considering I have combination oily. Traditional liquid foundations would easily start to cake and separate on my skin by end of day and not look so fresh anymore.
It's been 3 years now and I recently found a 'starter' kit at Winners for $30 (normally priced at $100) which includes two shades of foundation for mixing, bronzer and blush. How perfect! I find the quality of it to be superior - the finish is beautiful and I've found that the texture of my skin has improved since I've made the switch. I also haven't been breaking out as badly AND it's so much better for my skin!
It has SPF of 15 which is a bonus. And as small as these containers of foundation look, it really lasts such a long time. The smaller packages not as much but when I first bought the standard size off Bella Pierre's website (around $45) it lasted me almost a year. That was in conjunction with using regular foundation for days I needed more coverage. But now, I don't use anything else unless I want a solid coverage for photos or a special event.
I would continue to buy this foundation probably as long as they're selling it. It's really worth the money and your face will thank you for it!
