I have 2 giant half-bottles of this left after buying them about 5 years ago. Where else can you get a big huge bottle of glitter gel for like $4? I wear the glitter gel on my arms during the summer, and always get compliments on my glittery skin! I love the citrusy tangerine smell and the iridescent microglitter. It's a little crunchy, but for such a pretty payoff, it's definitely worth it! Obviously, since I wear this for cosmetic purposes, and also since I stay away from the sun in general, I can't comment on it's tanning abilities.

It seems they claim it will make you darker for tanning because there is no SPF protection. I think the glitter is a little bit much when you use it all over & it didn't keep me moisturized for very long. I would not buy again: Instead I'm using Olay Quench Body Lotion & it works like a dream - moisturizes for the full 24 hour claim & has a nice little golden shimmer/sparkle to it without being too much. It smells a little perfumey & is much like this having no SPF protection. I own it in the larger bottle with the pump & the smaller squeeze one - I love it!

I tan fairly easily so I'm not sure if my tan was a result of this product or not. However, I don't believe this gives a "deeper" or "darker" tan. I still love this product, because of the smell and look. It smells like citrus--which is energizing and childlike. The glitter is a little flashy, but it'll get you some attention at the pool or the beach. :) The only complaint I have, the glitter kind of hurts when I rub it on evenly. It's not unbearable though. I wish this would have done the job of faster, deeper, and darker tanning, but if I ever run out (which I won't with such a big bottle), I would probably repurchase for the glitter look alone.

Oh my God this stuff is FABULOUS -- I feel like a kid again. For $3.99 you get a pound of this jelly-bean-scented goo, a bright orange gel stuffed with gold and green and the occasional blue sparkles. Don't know why it was marketed as an "Australian Style Dark Tanning" product since it's just aloe vera, vitamin E, carrot extract, and glitter -- really you could use this as an after-tanning soother or simply over sunscreen for skin that gleams on the beach.
And for no discernible reason, a portion of the proceeds supports drug- and alcohol-abuse-prevention programs in schools. Yay!

This stuff seriously rocks. I am one of those girls who doesn't care about the damaging rays of the sun (bad, I know) and I don't wear SPF (bad, I know) and I love going to tanning beds all year round (bad, I know). But for the summer, I was looking for something that doesn't have an SPF and isn't oily or greasy. This water based gel is AWESOME! I agree that the glitter is very noticable, but I couldn't feel it on my skin and I love the way it looks on my tan. My boyfriend thought it was a little rediculous...having glitter all over my body...but I really like it. I'm not sure if it really helps you tan anymore than you would without the gel on, but I haven't burned yet this summer and I am maintaining a beautiful tan at the moment. This is definitely a HG for me. Sand doesn't stick to it at the beach either! Yay!

A great bargain! You get a HUGE bottle of this stuff for like $3.99! This will last me all summer long! Great orange smell to it. Easy to apply, and the glitter looks great with a tan.

I had a different experience with the glitter gel - I don't even feel the glitter. This is my favorite product in the summer - I wear it every day without fail and always get compliments on it! IIRC, the glitter is a little gritty going on, but definitely smooths out once it settles - love the tangerine scent!

Smells really nice and citrusy - was super cheap for a massive size bottle and the glitter looked so pretty floating around in the body gel. Unfortunately the glitter does not feel so good on the skin. It was super gritty feeling - maybe I can use it as a body scrub - hehe - But I can't rant too much since it only cost me $3.
