I am so bummed by this polish. I really had mu hopes up when I saw the bottle. It looks like a deep blue starry night sky in the bottle. Well it doesn't look like that on the nails beside the deep navy blue part, if you want to see the shimmer you have to pull the nail close and really search. It is opaque in 1 coat but I went 2 to find the shimmer...who knows maybe the shimmer would show up on coat 3.

I am rather disappointed in this product. In general, I really like Zoya polishes, but this color and formula were a big let down. The red microglitter did not show up at all on the nail and I already have significant chipping on 5 nails and this manicure is less than 24 hours old. I used a basecoat and Nubar Diamont topcoat, the same as usual, so I don't think the base and or top coats are the issue. Overall, this is just a basic navy blue metallic on the nail. I would not repurchase. I'm glad I only spent $3 in the Zoya polish exchange, and not the regular retail price of $7.

The formula was nice, but the colour itself was a huge let down.
It looks like a lovely navy blue with holo glitter throughout. But on the nail it just looks like a blackened blue and the holo glitter almost completely disappears.

I am surprised by the low rating on this color. I think it's a gorgeous dark blue. I can see, though, that the glitter is not as apparent as it could be, but on my nails it is glittery enough, and besides... I can always bling it up with a coat of glitter if I want! It's a little sheer, but nothing too bad. I will say that I prefer some of my OPI blues, but this is still a nice color.

I let this go in a swap.... it's identical to China Glaze "Up All Night", which I like better.
It was just "ehhh...another blue" for me. Not as pretty on nails as it is in the bottle.

I am very disappointed with this polish. The base color is a pretty, blackened, shimmery blue. However, the holo glitter that is so visible in the bottle completely disappears once on my nails and I'm left with just a basic blue that looks like a thousand other dark blues I own. Pretty, but nothing spectacular. I agree with the reviewer that said the glitter should either be more saturated or completely left out. It really serves no purpose other than to trick holo freaks like me into buying it. I definitely would have passed had I known beforehand. I wouldn't even have minded if the glitter were very sparse but it's nowhere to be found. I do have to say though that the formula was decent and I only needed 2 coats for saturation. I topped it with a layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust and finally had the look I was hoping for.
My other disappointment with this and all other Zoyas is the brush. The bristles are very short and very narrow so it makes application especially difficult. I find myself having to go back to the bottle 2 and 3 times to add more polish to the brush so I can finish one nail. Rather annoying.
All in all I like the base color but I have so many others like it that are easier to apply. I will be getting rid of this one and will definitely avoid purchasing more of this brand in the future.
Here are a few pictures of it topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust.

What terrible reviews for such a beautiful, rich color. Of course application was easy as pie, usual for all the zoyas' I've tried. Yes, if you are looking for Disco Ball you have come to the wrong place. This is a very subtle, grownup and sparse iridescent, something you would probably expect more from Chanel. I was entirely impressed with the saturation and beauty of this blue, being a warm girl who shys away from cool blues.
Very striking.

I was disappointed with Zoya Indigo. It's a blackened blue shimmer with holographic glitter particles. I found that putting on two coats, which is necessary to achieve opacity and non-streakiness, makes the holo glitter disappear in the polish and sink to the bottom so it's barely visible. In addition the polish looks like a black creme most of the time in indoor lighting. Next!

Overall, a nice polish. It's a deep blue, but not so dark that it doesn't look like blue, with multi-colored micro-glitter. My basic problem with Indigo is that in the bottle, it has some really amazing micro-glitter, but on the nail, it's just not really noticeable. It's a fine color, but nothing really stands out for me.

Indigo is metallic midnight blue with some multi-colored sparkle, I'm liking what I'm seeing here. Outside in cool daylight it comes out as an almost black plain shade, but inside in the warm lamp lights the flashes of multiglitter is much more pronounced and the deep blue more prominent. Like a midnight sky showered with loads of stars! One coat is not enough, but after the second coat Indigo is perfectly opaque and applies very evenly. I would have love to see a tad more glitter though!

Zoya's Indigo is a very deep blue color with sparse flecks of multi-colored glitter. One coat of this isn't enough (I can still see my pink nail underneath) so two coats is a must. Every one that I've spoken to says that the color looks black and it's true, you can't tell it's a deep blue until you're about 12 inches from my nails. I prefer to wear it on my fingernails than on my toes, just because I don't like my toes looking black and I'd definitely would not be able to appreciate the "blue" unless I'm constantly sticking my feet up to my face. Also, only the wearer would be able to notice the glitter as they don't stand out much. I didn't wear a top coat and the polish didn't chip until 6 days later -- I work in a research lab and do a lot of hand washing so this is great!

I really like this polish - a navy metallic blue with sparse multi glitter.
I might have liked it better if there were more glitter bits in it....either more glitter bits or none at all....but it is still a very nice color. It applies very well....but takes it's time to dry. I definitely always use a quick drying topcoat over this polish.

This is a very deep true navy with very *subtle* microshimmer. It's different from OPI's Russian Navy, which is actually less navy than this polish and has some deep purple in it. The shimmer on this is so elegant...I can't stand the brushes in Zoya polishes though. They're wimpy and don't offer great coverage, so it is a PITA to put the polish on. Won't buy again since I am currently in love with Russian Navy and Zoya Suvi (stunning deep emerald green). But this is nice to have in my collection. This polish also wears very well...I've had a minimum amount of chipping in the 6 days that I have worn it. It also doesn't dull out like OPI RN does, so I don't have to reapply top coat every two days.

I got this as a part of my first ever Zoya order and I'm really loving it. The color is a slightly shimmery navy (which is neither too black or too blue IMO) with a sparse dusting of multicolor microglitter If you're looking for a glittery, blingy polish, Indigo may not be for you, but if your looking for something with a subtle, pretty twinkle, this is great. At some angles, you may not even see the glitter, but then when the light hits it differently, it'll start to sparkle. Move your fingers and the different pieces of glitter flicker on and off against the deep blue background like little stars strewn across the night sky. Very, very pretty!
As for the polish itself, I found the consistency to be thicker than what I'm used to be it wasn't a problem. It still laid down smoothly and evenly, and that's really what counts. It was fairly pigmented too which is always nice, as it's obnoxious to have to paint more than 2 coats of a color to achieve the hue you see in the bottle. The only thing more I would change about this polish is the brush which was a bit thin and flimsy. Overall though, I'm pleased with my first Zoya experience and will definitely buy from them again!

I love the color of this polish! I've tried many blues that are popular on the boards, and they just don't feel wearable on me. This does. It's a gorgeous deep navy, almost a creme but with very tiny random sparkles. I love that it is seriously opaque with 2 coats! All that said, the consistency of the polish stinks. It was thick and gloopy, and I had a hard time applying it smoothly and getting the polish line near my cuticles even. It might be better with a touch of polish thinner, but idk. I'm taking off 1 lippie for the goopiness, but I do love the color and might buy this again.

I was looking forward to this shade the most out of all the Zoya Downtown Fall '07 collection, but I was really disappointed. From all the info I read, this was to be a deep blue with holo and/or multi-colored glitter. When I received the bottle the holo microglitter was sparse seeming compared to pics and accounts I've been hearing. When I tried it I was really bummed. It covers amazingly well with one coat, only required two for even coverage, the blue is a deep navy shimmer though the shimmer is hard to see unless you are in the sun. Finally, the holo microglitter is so micro and sparse that I can't tell it's even there. In the sun if I squint and move my nails around I can see a few and count them. If you need a dark navy shimmer that almost looks like a creme then this would be nice for you. If you're expecting sparkle and uniqueness, don't waste your money. The wear is really nice, the color is okay not unique at all, the bottle is average, formula is great, price is slightly lower than other similar salon brands. I wouldn't repurchase. PICS: with flash to show shimmer (in most lights it appears as a creme to me) Bottle Pic
