Where have I been that having so many L'Occitane shops around I never went in? I first got a sample and then I just HAD to come back for it!!
First of all, simple glass bottle with hygienic and practical pump. Second- nice fluidy consistency. Very pleasant scent.
Secondly- it behaves like some kind of serum on my face. It disappears, no thick-white-shiny layer on the face. Amazing! I have no idea how its possible that this behaves so differently from my others shiseido, bioderma, vichy or la roche posay...
Anyway- it works great under makeup, with cream underneath... Superb!
UPDATE: The pump sometimes get stuck so I think I might put it in a jar at some point if it will get stuck forever.

I really wanted to like this but it broke me out really badly, stung my eyes and had a strong scent that made me feel a bit ill when applying it. On the plus side high spf containing physical sunblock and a very nice texture - milky fluid that makes skin matte.
I gave a 3 as just because it broke me out does not mean it is a bad product, just one to avoid if you find sunscreens break you out. Having now found my HG SS (Sofina) I feel that for the price this one should not sting my eyes and give me such skin problems.

I hate to say but, my face is now full of pimples and the last product I changed over the last two months is my day-cream! I had liked the non-greasy texture, but, another bad thing is: they have loads of every kind of paraben within. I won't buy this product again.

Its pricey but worth every penny. Its scent is natural herbal which I like, non greasy (even controls oil), super lightweight, easy to apply, comfortable to wear everyday. This is an anti aging treatment plus spf 40/PA+++, so u can wear it alone without moisturizer under (except ur skin is dry). I dont complain about a bit white cast it left, thats a feature of any suncreen contains Tiatnium dioxide which is the best UV filter for us. After 3 months of using this precious product, my skin looks radiance, even tone, fine lines are smoothed. How I love it!

I liked what this sunscreen did for my skin. It is light on my face and i felt that i actually saw improvement in my skin. However, I am a runner, and when i sweat this product burns my eyes. I'm so sad b/c i think it's the best sunscreen i've used :(

I finally found a product that kept me matte along day and gave me good spf protection and what happens it gets discontinued. well I can't find it on the website, and when I looked in my past orders it says it no longer available. Shame.

I bought this because I was looking for an alternative to Shisedo's Sunscreen. Am on to my second bottle and so far, not much complains. As Singapore is humid and dry sometimes (wrecking havoc on the skin), surprisingly this fluid can be quite drying. I apply this on top of a serum thinking that the light Occitane fluid will do the necessary moisturizing. But, I work in an air-conditoned environment and throughout the day dries out the skin a little. Still, I get a pretty good price 43USD for a std bottle. I have tried using the Neutrogena for the face and I hated it. It stings and smells way too strong, I feel the product just sitting there...
Though this product could do better in the moisturizing department, I have to give it thumbs up for great absorption and also not making me (a guy) look like a kabuki actor.

Broke me out like no tomorrow! Not only did this screw up my skin, IT WAS EXPIRED. They sold me an expired product and when I called back to demand my money back, they said that there's nothing I can do. Stay away from this product.

Can't say enough about this product. I am very happy with it. My skin is protected without the heavy feelin of the usual sunscreen products. I have sensitve combination skin, and wear this over the special fuid during the day, and couln't be happier with the results. Many thanks to L'Occitane.

I'm always on the lookout for moisturizers with sunscreen. This one had an SPF of 40 and there was no doubting I would be needing a bottle.
The fluid is a sappy white color and rather runny. It goes on feeling oily but the feeling disappears as quickly as I put it on, and doesn't get greasy for me as the day progresses--that's the make it or break it rule for me. I've been using this for more than a month now and I have to say that it does an awesome job of brightening the skin. I saw a difference on how luminous my face looked after 2 weeks. I also noticed that it firms the skin and makes it supple and has diminished the fine lines around my mouth.
Good job so far!!! To the point that I've also purchased the Very Precious Revitalizing oil to use at night. I love the smell of these products--green and citrus-floral. Lifts my spirits every time.
I believe in the L'Occitane products. They use a lot of fresh and natural ingredients and don't skimp on the concentration like many products out there to force you to use more and make you wait longer to see results. It won't kill your wallet to purchase these products too because you have to use less--much less than drugstore varieties. I myself believe in Perricone products in what little trial products I've used, but I can't afford it. L'Occitane is a good alternative in my view.

Just got this from my recent L'Occitane haul. I was attracted to this because not only it is a moisturizer it is also a sunscreen due to its spf40. It is quite moisturizing (but not enough for my very dry skin thus the 4 lippies) and soothing to the skin with mild scent. it leaves a somewhat matte finish. This would be ideal to use during summer.

I recently began to suffer from rosacea which sent my skincare regime into a tailspin. Few of my old products were agreeing with my skin. I went on the search for a high spf sunscreen that was not irritating, didn't make me break out, and didn't make my makeup look caky or slide off my face. I got a sample of this from Sephora, and I fell in love. This has a very thin consistency which goes on like a dream with just enough moisture. It has a slight white cast which only lasts for a few minutes. I apply my foundation directly over the top. My mu looks great and lasts all day (eldw light). It is expensive, but my tiny sample lasted 6 days, so this bottle is sure to last many many months. Love it!

A very good sunscreen and all in one for the face. I love this. This is my second choice for face sunscreen after the Christian Dior sunscreen moisturiser which I prefer because it is tinted .

My HG for sunscreen. I've used it for over 1 year. This is the lightest high-spf-sunscreen for me. Tried Lancome UV Expert SPF 30 and Clarins UV Plus Day Screen SPF 40 High Protection with E3P...they're good, but still I prefer this immortalle. I have dry to very dry skin and sensitive skin on eye area.
It's expensive but lasting for 9-10 months. It's worth every penny I spent for this :D

I just bought this product, and used it a couple of times but so far so good. Its texture is light, milky/watery...very calming and very lightly hydrating. It's texture is very very good--I am really liking it. I am slowly getting more and more into natural skincare. I like the light scent in the lotion, and I really think l'occitane is the superior of all the 'organic' type lines out there (although boscia is pretty good too). It is insanely expensive for the size of product you get--but on the plus side you do get an excellent product, and a size you can travel with (in the US less than 3 ounces is allowed for carry on), A downside is that the bottle is made out of metal so you cant see how much is left....overall an excellent product. If anything changes or it makes my oily skin break out I will update.

Excellent product, perfect for aging skin (dry, normal, combination). It should be applied after the moisturizer, therefore, it may not be the best choice for people with extremely oily skin- especially in summer, for- although lightweight and non-greasy, this fluid is not mattifying.

I like this ss as its watery texture absorbs well and control oiles especially in the hot humid weather in Asia. But I have the following issues:
1. It is quite drying with regular use, especially around the nasal folds;
2. Although it leaves my skin matte, it makes my my pores obvious;
3. After a few hours, this emphasizes my fine lines around the eyes;
4. Is not very friendly with most oil-free foundations; and
5. Expensive
My beloved Clarins SPF40, in texture, performance and price, will blow this baby far far away...

I bought this product based on the good review here, and I will never regret it! I give this baby a try because I was looking for non greasy day moisturizer with high spf *I live in HOT sunny Texas* . I used Lancome bienfait spf30 lotion,yes it moisturize my dry combo skin but I started feel the greasiness and sick of the scent. Than I purchased this lotion after a couple times tried it on my hand in Sephora and boyy.. you would not regret this stuff! The scent is very nice and light, and it will gives you a nice matte looks. The only downside for me is I need a layer of another creamy moisturizer under this lotion, it just to dry for my skin. but overall, this defenitely my HG!

When you've got combo skin and live in the south, summer sucks. Can't stand having "grease" on my face, but to be out in the Texas sun with no SPF is insane. I've tried everything from Lauder to Laura Mercier, Clinique to Chanel. Bought this assuming I'd return it. So happy to report that it's a definite keeper! Non-greasy, but more importantly, non-goopy. One pump and you're good to go!

This product has truly surpassed my expectations. It is very fluid as the name suggests. Layering is very simple. It protects well and looks perfect at the end of the day. No allergies or reactions and does not clog the pores in anyway. Highly recommend this.
PS: I am down-grading this to a 4. I just tried Almond Apple Velvet Face Fluid SPF40 and I find this a much better product for younger skin so comparatively, this is now a 4 for me. Though I probably recommend this for older age brackets.
