I really wanted mineral makeup to work for me, but I was a little doubtful when I e-mailed AN's customer service for some color recs. They replied really quickly with great suggestions, I was blown away by how considerate they were, and they also mailed free samples to me with my paid foundation samples. However, I just kept getting a powdery look with everything I tried- different brushes, flocked sponge, etc. Five lippies for the CS, but only 2 for the product because it wasn't evil (no breakouts or anything) but didn't deliver.

I like this product a lot. I've used both the soft coverage and the full coverages and both are great for me. The colors do tend to run on the "warmer" side. I purchased the light cool and medium cool but am purchasing some fair cool to mix into what I have to lighten it up a bit.
As far as the wear is concerned, the finish is fantastic, creamy but not heavy (even the full coverage). It lasts until I take it off. The only cons that I have with this makeup is that the colors tend to run a little dark - however, that's easily remedied by mixing in some of the lightest shade. I like this idea anyway, because my skin tends to be darker during the summer anyway, so I can always control how much lighter or darker to make my makeup. I definitely will purchase this again.

I ordered Aubrey Nicole's sample kit and I am pleased with the products. Like Joppa Minerals, Aubrey Nicole adds kaolin clay and that is a real plus if you have oil breakthrough issues. Unlike Joppa, Aubrey Nicole has several color options for pale skin tones. AN has good staying power and good coverage also. You can get soft coverage fondation or full coverage. I prefer the full coverage one. They have a couple of sample sets to choose from. The one I got also came with a two blushes and an eye color. This is a good foundation with better than average staying power. I will need to sample a bit more before I buy a full size though.

I wish I loved this, but it never worked out for me. Aubrey Nicole has great customer service (I mailed them a picture and they suggested colors), but every one that I tried came out kind of orange and fake-looking. Even when it was well-blended, there was an obvious powder finish that a brush, flocked sponge, or just plain old fingers couldn't get rid of. Cheers to AN for their helpfulness, but it wasn't meant to be.

I ordered the sample kit from Aubrey Nicole. It came with two foundations, a finishing powder, and concealer. I don't think I like the concealer as much as the everyday minerals intensive, but it works good.
I really like the soft coverage foundation. I was wearing fairly light warm in EM and I can wear the light warm in aubrey nicole (I am pretty sure I could also wear the neutrals). The warm is pretty yellow, but once I put it on it looks fine.
I like the full coverage foundation as well - just didn't wear it today because my skin is clear at the moment.
I do like the rice powder finishing powder as well. I highly recommend this company and their products (at least the ones I've tried). Oh, blushes are very nice as well!!!
