This is for the acne kit. I just got it from my estheticien. I've only been using it for 5 days and OMG it's a miracle worker. Probably the most expensive stuff I've ever gotten - but so far, it's been amazing. I use the foaming face wash, the oil spot treater and the repair cream. I'll update my review after another week, but so far it's the $$$$ answer to my prayers!

I was kind of on guard when my beauticien tried to sell me this product line: Physiodermie.

It has every evidence of another rip-off, but ordinary product: a french name (bio-gommage), "made in Switzerland" staple, and those ususal "laboratoire" claims.

Then I tried the free sample. Then I bought it for half the price the beauty salon asked - on e-bay of couse.

It turns out to be a HG product: the best scrubs or light peeling products on the market (due to my skin nature, I tried almost ALL products of this kind: EL, Clinique, Shisheido, Clarins, Dr. Hauschka...just to name a few). and This one is the BEST - so far, ranking before my still favorite Aspirin mask.

The beauty of this product is those super fine granules, when you first apply, you can feel them on your face, but then they disappear completely in the pore. then after 3-5 minutes, they bring out all the dirt and impurities...

The only thing that annoys me is the instructions: the original French version is TOTALLY different than the English version - they are on the same page!

Some extract (otherwise it's too long)

French: "applique une a deux noix de Bio-gommage sur le visage et le cou. Faire un message circulaire de penetration et de diffusion jusqu'a la disparition totale de micro-spherules..."

Translate: apply 1 or 2 peanut size Bio-Gommage on the face and neck. Circular massage until the micro-granules completely disappear (in skin)...

Now English version: "Spread ...in a medium even level on your face and neck. Allow to dry 3 - 5 minutes (or until transparent). Over the sink or a towel, use gentle stokes to completely slough dead cells and toxins by holding the skin taught..."

Why the difference? The company thinks we should treat our skin differently because we speak French or English?? someone may try the German version, and let us know...

Ok, I tried both French method and English method, and found out it's best when combine the two:

- Step 1 - Application: follow the French instructions
- Step 2 - Removal: follow the English instructions

What a joke!

Another HG anoyance: Physiodermi does not print Expiration Date on any of their product, I understand it's to help the beauty salon extend shelf life. But I'am not sure whether it's legal in US or Canada --- any lawyer out there??

This product is used in Spa's everywhere!! My friend works in a spa in Lodi, CA (wine and roses) and told me they charge $125 for a facial using this product!! It is great..it is however, very, very expensive ($80-$100 for 2.4 oz) but if you have the cash..it is quite a find!! It is a gently peel/ exfoliator..it works in 2 ways..delivering oxigen to the skin, and removing the top layer of skin (sounds scary..but really is wonderful!) all I can say is.. So far, so good!

Thsi product is amazing on my oily/combination (prone to acne) skin. I use it as a mask and also as a scrub. I was araid to use it initially since it was a cream base an not my usual acne scrub. Try it oily/combination (prone to acne types) you will be amazed!

At such a high price point, you would expect the "biopeel" to seriously exfoliate. It really does not. You're better off using Kate Somerville's Kate in a Jar if you want results. The Physiodermie leaves the face soft as the product leaves this intense baby powder-smelling residue on your face. Good news is that the product doesn't do anything particularly bad or harsh to the face. Bad news is that it really doesn't do anything.

I love this product! I have used it for the past 2 years & it works great! My skin feels baby soft after but I still use my moisturizer afterwards. Great exfoliant & gentle on sensitive skin. It is expensive but I buy it on ebay for half the price.

This stuff is obnoxiously expensive ($80 for a 3 or 4oz tube) but it lasts a surprisingly long time, and it works total wonders on my skin.

It is "scrubby" in texture, but once you apply it and let it dry, the real magic kicks in -- you remove it by dry-scrubbing it off. It's hard to explain, but when you see the nastiness that it removes, you'll be shocked.

Leaves behind a bit of moisture, but I prefer to use toner and my basic moisturizers on top.
