I've tried tons of dry shampoos and this joins Shampowder as my favorite. Shampowder is better for travel, but this is my go-to at home. I have fine dark hair and this one actually disappears when I brush it out - no white halo. Really volumizes and soaks up oil with very little product so a can lasts a long time. I can actually go 2 days between shampoos with this product. My tip would be not to use too much - a little goes a long way - and use a boar bristle brush to brush it through your hair.

So this is a review for people with a similar hair/scalp type as me ( or my SO lol)

I have very very fine, medium length hair, and my scalp has a sheet of dry skin on it ( sorry gross). My hair doesn't actually look dirty for probably about 4-5 days of no-washing even in the summer time.

My problem, and i'm sure other fine haired people have this too, is the day after, the hair just falls flat and stringy--- not oily, it just lacks any volume and style.

I was actually looking for a dry shampoo for my SO ( he has a lot of fine hair which gets wicked greasy by the end of the day) so he could "freshen up" during the day, so i picked up the small size which is around $10, bc i love Ojon products. They deliver and smell awesome.

For him, I guess it was okay for about 30 minutes after he sprayed it on, but then his hair just gets greasy again.

I tried it on myself, multiple times to ensure it wasn't a fluke. Turns out it actually makes my hair very greasy and oily looking. Doesn't help with fluffing up or volumizing.

So bottom line, if you have a very scalp and fine hair, I wouldn't suggest this as it has the opposite effect.

I have never tried any other dry shampoos. At first I didnt' like this one, and didn't think it worked, but you really have to work the product into your roots properly for it to dry up the oil. I found this product was decent to take my blowdried out hair (that takes me over an hr) from the day before - just one more day. I loved the smell. I love the smell of all the Ojon products, but this seems to be quite preferential.

This product was, ok. I really dont have anything good or anything bad to say about it. It didnt add any volume to my hair like some other dry shampoos i have tried in the past, for example Big Sexy. After using this, the next day my hair was extremely oily! However, when i first applied it, it definately took away the shine and gave some texture to my hair, I will return this and try the Oscar Blandi!

I really don't like this product.
First of all, it works okay. It absorbs oil and gives hair some decent volume and shine, so that deserves 2 lippies but...
THE BIG LOWS :
It smells, really really bad. I normally like the earthy, different-smelling stuff, but this one is just really bad. My boyfriend complains everytime I use it, and he said it smells worse than having greasy hair....not good.
I smell like potatoes and sugar and chemicals, it's really, really unpleasant. Batiste is WAYYYY better.
It's ridunculously expensive (10$CDN for a little wimpy bottle) and it stinks and at the end of the day, your hair feels worse than it did it in morning.
Will NOT repurchase, no, no, no.

I bought this in the 2oz size (says "special care" at the top).

I'm so happy I didn't waste more than $10 on this. I got maybe 3-4 uses out of this before it'd spray everywhere. Not only that but it'd spray a ton of product, making a big mess. The smell is just so obvious too. I mean it's nice but it'd be better if Ojon had made it subtle. I think the smell is the closest thing to a "pro" with this product. There are just so many cons to list.

-it smells
-it leaves white junk in my hair
-the white junk doesn't brush out. it just sits there
-this doesn't take care of oil at all
-this makes my hair feel even more greasy

With what I've tried this is the worts, then Tresseme's, then Oscar Blandi's, and then PSSST (it's decent). I haven't found a dry shampoo that works for me. A lot leave a white residue because I have dark brown hair.

The smell is absolutely overpowering. Something to get used to I think. However, the smell on your hair subsides as you wear it. It did lift and took off the greasiness of my scalp. I did noticed a flaky residue on one time I wore it, although other times it was just fine. Packaging seems to have white powdery residue also after some use. overall, I'm sure they could still improve this product!

This didn't really work for me. I found the scent overpowering, my hair got stringy, and it didn't clean up the oil for longer than a couple of hours - no volume either. By the afternoon I felt like my hair was dirtier and oilier and I couldn't wait to wash this stuff out. I prefer the Oscar Blandi, but of course nothing beats freshly washed hair.

Like the spray concept...This product works well for absorbing oil and freshening locks, but noticed that it left big-time residue, white flakey spots and may have contributed to itchy scalp. Will try other brands next

I've only used this product three or four times but so far I really like it. Dried up any greasies and gave my hair a fresh clean feel. The smell is a little strong and chemical like, but main point is...it works. I didn't enjoy paying the price, but I was in a pinch. Really hope the nozzle doesn't clog up like some others have mentioned. That would change my whole opinion.

First of all, I work for the manufacturers of all Hair products.
Dry shampoo is becoming so popular recently, basically, it's starch.
I tried this one because my hair is very oily and I don't want to wash my hair everyday.
This product made my scalp itch, and after only two uses, the actuator stopped working, so I paid full price for maybe 1/50 the product. How NICE!

Not sure if it's my luck but this is a second can of dry spray shampoo i've purchased that gets "stuck" after 3-4 uses (first one being Oscar Blandi which was even worse, the salesgirl at sephora said the same thing happened to her, so I am thinking that an ingredient, possibly the powdery texture is causing the jam). Otherwise, I like it - i like the concept of spray dry shampoo rather than powder because a lot of pricey powder gets blown away between your palms and your hair. I liked the smell too actually, it's the jam up that's awful.

Not impressed with this at all. After spraying and nearly choking on the horrible fumes, my hair appeared somewhat less oily, but still oily enough to make this product seem more or less useless. It definitely removes any shine and leaves your hair looking dull, and *feeling* heavy and dirtier than it did before. It's pretty gross. Worst of all is the smell, which is strong, unpleasant and lingering. Plus, as the scalp heats the product you just end up smelling it all day long.

**UPDATE** Despite the smell, I'm probably going to keep this product because it does work - it absorbs the oil in my hair and allows me to go another 1-2 days without shampooing. The name 'dry shampoo' is misleading - this only makes your hair dirtier, but it adds volume and will probably save me a lot of time in the long run. But I will seek out a superior (and sustainable) product when this can is finished!

I like to use this product between shampoos. It gives my hair good body and lift. I am not a big fan of the smell and turn the bathroom fan on whenever I spray it, however, the smell on my head is fine after the initial spary. It does make my hair look better when I use it. It is way too expensive though - I bough a small can from Sephora and it cost me $10! I will be looking for a larger, cheaper can in the future.

I love the product itself. I am disabled and sometimes need to use the dry shampoos in-between normal washings. This is the best one that actually works by taking out the oil. The only problem that I have run into (more than once) is the spray can gets clogged easily and quits working. Usually only after 2-3 uses. Fortunately, I buy them from QVC and they have been wonderful about returns. I just wish they (Ojon) could change the formula so it won't clog, but still wotk great. I just heard that they made it in just powder form, so maybe I will give it a try. It is quite expensive for only getting a couple of uses out of it.

I use this every other day when I don't wash my hair. It does work to give more volume and soaks up oils. My problem with it is that my hair is black and the spray dries as a white powder which shows up in my hair. I have to spend time really combing it out leaving lots of residue on my brush. The smell is awful...my sister calls it the grandma smelling dry shampoo. This price was not cheap either. I think I'll be trying the new Tresemme dry shampoo instead.

I sort of liked it. It worked pretty well but I consider it to be overpriced. Its not a marvel product and frankly it smells, it did give me some volume and my seemed cleaner, would only consider buying it again if its on clearance.

I love this spray. It really works. The smell isn't the best but it's the worse either. I find that if I don't spray too much the smell and in a well ventilated area, the smell doesn't linger and so far no problems with the can clogging. Definately repurchasing.
