Typical overhyped Chanel skincare. I received this as a gift and as soon as I put it on my skin I took it straight off again. I by no means have sensitive skin however it felt like if I left this on my skin it would melt! The smell of alcohol was over powering and the mask actually made my eyes sting even though I didn't apply the mask anywhere near my eyes.

In my opinion Chanel isn't the greatest when it comes to skincare - make up yes, skincare NO. You are paying for a name which makes it totally over priced and their products are packed with chemicals.

I was going to give this a very poor rating, but then I used it again after a long absence and it actually worked well for me...today.

My initial poor rating is based on price and the fact that I don't remember it doing anything for me (as echoed through the previous reviews) but today I was so tired that I fished it out of my drawer and gave it a new try. This time I did the suggested massage and then took a quick cool shpower which removed the traces of the mask (vs. wiping it off). My face looked great and somewhat refreshed! I definitely think the massage helped achieved this, but I also feel it will be very short lived and this certainly isn't a "treatment mask" but more like a temporary refresher.

So, bottom line - it was a treat for me today, but I don't remember positive past resultrs and I doubt it's going to change my skin in the future, therefore I won't repurchase, but I'll try and enjoy my current supply until gone.

I don't like this mask at all. I don't want to be redundant, as most all of my points have been summed up in prior reviews, but the mask doesn't show results. It tingles and itches. The smell from the jar is pleasant, but once applied the presence of alcohol is overwhelming. It's a waste of $50. No radiance at all.. no improvement what so ever.

I bought this yesterday, opened it up in the car and smell it. It smelled SOOOO GOOOD! I was excited to use it. I ggot home took a warm shower, used my Clarisonic with my Chanel Gel Purete Cleanser for oily skin, and got out, patted dry and applied this all over pretty thick. It stung a little, I waited 15 minutes, and then did the massage techniques listed in the pamphlet. Then i wiped it off. No difference whatso ever! All that happened was my face was red and really dry from the alcohol. I wanted to like this. I bought it because it has a "cocktail of energising ingrediants for your skin" I already use the Purete mask, but I wanted something to alternate with. i guess I'll just stick to the Purete one. Would not ever think of buying again. I exchanged it for my cleanser.

Love, absolutely love this mask. I apply it mainly when my face looks tired after a long day. When I get home I cleanse my face with Mousse Douceur (chanel face wash), then I apply a thin layer of this mask and leave it on for 15 minutes. My skin looks recharged, radiant and feels smooth. I love it, I buy it once a year because I use it rarely!

I'm quite fan of chanel skin care, although many people have mentioned their products are over-rated. But at least they haven't broke me out so far. However, this particular one is disappointing. Packaging and the texture of mask looks impressive. Unfortuantely it doesn't work as well as it looks. There is an overwhelming stench of alcohol upon application. And after tissuing (and washing off, since I tried both ways), it didn't seem to do anything.... at all! I hate to say this 'dun waste your money on this product'.

If you have acne-prone skin run away from this product.

This tingles and itches, it's a pain to remove and doesn't leave my skin smooth or glowing after application.

I tried it in multiple ways and it always resulted in breakout. This along with the radiance scrub from Chanel were my worst purchases from this brand. It's just a bad over-priced radiance mask.

For ref: i have quite dull, combo skin. I have oily t zone areas and i have other dry areas such as around my eyebrows. This is a pretty decent mask, but not wow special or anything like that. its a gel-cream that sinks in very quickly, does a good job of hydrating and when i wash it off my face is glowy and fresh. i dont know if i look more awake or anything like that since this is an 'anti-fatigue' mask but my skin definitely looks more alive. Theres a seperate hydration mask by chanel and that one is excellent in plumping up the skin and hydrating and moisturising esp if u have more drier skin. This imo, is a 'light' version of it adding that fresh glow to my face too. Bad things about this are the price, and the way it tingles and itches while its on- just like all chanel gel cream masks do. i dont think id buy again cus for the price (£25 UK) it should really wow me which it doesnt....and im on the lookout for a mask that will!
