This is a lovely color in the pan --- but not suitable for my mature skin. Would recommend this blush for teens or those 20-30 somethings with flawless skin. It melted into my foundation and faded within hours. Did not find this blush to be pigmented -- perhaps I purchased an older product.

This blush is amazing! Whenever I go to put it on people I have to tell them to trust me, because it does look scary in the pan. Once it goes on, it looks beautiful on just about everyone! I love this blush and it is one of my favorites. I wish the pan was a bigger size, but for the price its good. I just wanna buy it in bulk! haha. Feels great on skin and never looks chalky or cheap.

I've had this blush for awhile now - it somehow made its way to the top of my makeup case and now I wear it every day. I'm fair skinned and a light touch of Vanuatu gives me a healthy, peachy, glow. I really think this would look good on darker skins too - it's builder as other reviews said. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a simple pinky-peachy blush and price isn't an object. 20 bucks is a little steep for me, but its worth it.

This is a slightly warm medium pink. In the pan there appears to be a lot of silver micro-glitter/shimmer but the shimmer only shows up as a pearly sheen/glow on the skin. I'm a MMM (about NC 35) and I apply this lightly for a soft, fresh, healthy flush. The color can be built up easily for a very bright look - I think this could work for darker skintones as well. The product quality gets a 5 from me. It blends easily, never streaky/splotchy, never changes color, lasts all day and doesn't break me out. I feel like Sue Devitt blushes have the perfect amount of pigmentation. They can be applied sheerly with one sweep but color is built up *very* easily. As pretty as Vanuatu is, the color isn't the most unique which is why I gave it a 4. It's still a lovely color and I use it about 1x a week. I love the round slim mirrored compacts and prefer it to the older Sue Devitt compacts. (I hate bulky compacts like Cargo and MAC). $20 for .10 oz/3 grams. It's too bad the company reduced the amount of product without reducing the price as well but I like the product so much that I'm willing to overlook it. Can be purchased from beauty.com, Ulta stores and online, dermstore.com, Barneys, etc.

I own a lot of blushes, and Vanuatu has slowly worked its way into my top 5. Every time I wear it, I'm surprised by how pretty it is! Vanuatu is a light/medium pink with a tiny hint of peach. I don't see any shimmer when I apply it, but there seems to be just the slightest hint of pearliness on my PPP cheeks when it's on. The color is truly gorgeous- fresh and pink and pretty. And it lasts all day, too. I hope they never stop making this shade...

Vanuatu is a light/medium peachy-pink with small silver shimmer. I dont really see a lot of coral in this. When I think of coral, I think of an orange undertone, and I don't see that here. I know I have had a Cargo blush similar to Vanuatu, and if you have BE "sorbet" blush, the color that Sorbet appears in the container is quite similar to how Vanuatu looks in the container (not on, though). Vanuatu is highly pigmented! In fact, I had to use my trusty MAC 187 to apply this to my NC15 skin, otherwise I would have looked overdone. Despite the intensity of color and care needed for a PPP to use, this Sue Devitt blush is silky and brightens up a face like nothing else. It is a very healthy, vibrant look, and the shimmer is not at all obtrusive or obvious. The compact is small, about the size of a silver peace dollar coin, if you have one of those. This blush doesn't look that great with most of my eyeshadows however (all neutral browns and taupes), but, of what I have, my Nars AAE provides the best look when paired with Vanuatu blush. I think since Vanuatu is a bolder blush on me, keeping everything else minimal and natural is the way to go for my skintone. This blush was $20 at a local boutique.

Without a doubt, one of the prettiest blush colors (medium pink) on the market, and of excellent quality! This powder blush picks up easily on any blush brush, and applies and blends like a dream. Looks nice on the apples of the cheeks over a light application of bronzer, or good on its own. Lasts all day on my sensitive-combo skin (NW20), no matter what the weather. (Not a zit-maker, either!) I hope Sue Devitt never stops making this one. :o)

I agree with other reviewers in that I am disappointed with the downsizing that went along with the revamping of this line and its packaging. I had one of the first SD blushes, and it is much bigger than the new ones I have. Still, the price is very reasonable and the colors are simply gorgeous and so silky. So, I'll be sticking with these blushes despite the significantly smaller amount of product. Vanuatu is a beautiful pink with silver shimmer that looks very bright in the pan but, when on my cheeks, gives me a wonderful glow--not clownish at all. The shimmer is not noticeable on my face, even in bright sunlight. Plus, her blushes last all day on my cheeks. A total winner!

What a gorgeous blush! Very pigmented and silky, absolutely foolproof to apply and I love the sleek little silver compact. Vanuatu is a bright, slightly corally pink with a bit of shimmer that isn't very noticeable on my skin -- I only see it when I get right up close to the mirror. I bought this thinking it would be the perfect summery blush, but now I can see myself wearing it a lot in winter as well, since it warms up my face and gives me such a nice glow. (cool-toned PPP here)

Sue Devitt's blushes are my second favorite blushes ever and ive tried a ton. These only come second to Shu's blushes for me. I have dry skin and i need a creamy blush, but obviously one that lasts a long time (no easy feat). This is SD in a nutshell... its creamy, glides on soooo silky and sheer (but pigmented... weird i know)... its litterally impossible to apply to much or have it look blotchy (which happens no matter how carefully i apply nars blushes), and it sinks into the skin instead of just sitting on top of it all powdery (like cargo blushes). I just got this color in a swap (my third SD blush) and i must say this is the perfect natural flush pink. Its not too bright at all isslightly on the warm side with subtle shimmers. I also own Los Angeles and Koh Samui (sp?) and i probably couldnt choose a favorite as i love each of them so much. I cant wait to get more of these blushes... but am a little disspointed that the new sizes are smaller than the older packaging. I dont mind the box packaging at all and will probably just try to swap for other colors. :)

This blush is definitely a winner for me, in fact all the Sue Devit blushes I've tried I love. This is a slightly warm pink with a beautiful sheen to it. Very wearable shade. IIRC it costs $20. I am a cool-toned PPP.

I'm cool toned with fair skin. I love pink blushes but they usually don't work because my skin can get ruddy and I end up looking pink all over. I've tried beautiful plums and cool-toned pinks (Belize and Katherine, for example) only to have second thoughts after catching sight of a mirror. Whodathunk that a slight warm tone would look good? I don't know if there is a cheaper version- truth be told, I only buy SD blush because I'm too lazy to shop around. I also have Koh Samui, and Netanya.

OMG, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this blush yet! It's an absolute staple, my favorite blush of all time! It's a light pink that leans to the coral side, and gives a perfect glow without a lot of shimmer. I feel and look instantly better any time I apply this. This goes beyond HG – it's my desert island product! I don't know what I would do if it ever went away. I'm a FFF with light brown hair and brown eyes. I do wish the pan was a little bigger.

This looks like a warm strawberry pink in the pan. Unfortunately it turns brown on my cheeks and doesn't give me a "glow" at all. I don't understand it, given all the raves. *shrug* Up for swap it goes...

Vanuatu is a semi-bright warm pink with silver shimmer. The texture is very soft and silky, comparable to Shu's blushes. The blush is pigmented, but not as much as some NARS blushes, so Sue Devitt's may be easier to work with for some. Although the color is pretty, I would not buy this again because it is very shimmery. I prefer a more glowy blush than a sparkley one.

Great texture, very soft and easy to apply and definitely lasts all day. It is a soft glowy pink that has just the right warmth and glow to it. It is a little to dark for my fair skin, but a great blush nonetheless.

This blush is so pretty. I love pink blushes and this is one of the best I have tried. The packaging doesn't bother me much, I haven't found it hard to open. I can't wait to try Los Angeles. I think 20 dollars is a pretty good price for a good blush, I have paid much more for not as good quality.

Absolutely the most gorgeous blush ever! I love how it brightens my complexion the minute I put it on and makes me look so fresh! The color may seem bright in the pan, but applied correctly, it gives you a pretty flush that makes you look in love! *sigh* I am positively obsessed with this product--not only did Sue Devitt nail the perfect powder formula (did I say that it's long-lasting too?), Vanuatu is just absolutely beautiful: a clear bright pink with a tinge of coral.

Raves for this wonderful blush. A beautiful pink with a little shimmer. I have brown hair, brown eyes and am light (BE 1.2 fairly light), and was hesitant at first, but this looks fantastic. It gives you a fresh wash of color. I am finding more and more things that I like about this makeup line. The blush is silky and you only need a little bit, so it should last a long time. So much better than others I have tried (MAC, Stila, Lorac). I would definitely re-purchase again.

Received this from my favorite swap pal. Lovely color but very similar to YSL's Blush Variation #2. The YSL one has finer-milled sheen particles in it. If you have large pores, get the Blush Variation.
