I've been buying this for years. It is my favourite ever makeup item, I can't be without it. It's amazing for giving an all over coverage without looking cakey. It covers redness and blemishes so well. I'm past my teen years where I get some breakouts but still swear by this as it makes your skin look flawless! It also lasts ages, I usually top up once during the day due to shine creeping through but that's pretty standard I think. I do think the packaging could look a bit cuter though, but the price is amazing as one of these lasts me for a couple of months at least.

Normally I'm not really a foundation user. I picked this up because I started to get some blemishes and a little bit of rosacea around my nose for which I need a bit more coverage than a BB cream/TM. I love that I can easily build this up to how much coverage I need. The colour I use is Natural, which is a tad too dark for me, but as I don't really use that much it's not really a problem. I have noticed some shimmer when I'm in the full sunlight, small con in my opinion.

I have fallen back in love with this product! I used to use it years ago and for some reason I stopped. I have been updating my handbag makeup and found this again. I love it. It gives a really nice natural coverage, I just use the sponge it comes with and it smoothed out my skin tone, tones down the redness around my nose, evens out around the eye area and doesn't leave you looking caked. I have oily skin which this combats really well but it doesn't clog my pores on cheek area either. I love the fact that it comes with a good size mirror for applications on the run. It leaves my skin feeling really smooth. It doesn't have that dulling affect that some powders have either. I am quite pale, an nc 15/20 in mac shades and I use this in number 2 ivory. It matches my skin tone really well. Great on its own or over foundation and best of all, for me, I can use it to touch up the oily skin issue! I will definitely buy this again and I can't think why I stopped using it.
I do moisturise in the morning before using and it does have a tendency to cling a bit to dry areas of your skin so if you have dry skin it may not be for you. Or use a good primer underneath it first. I use mac primer which is good for me.
This compact will last me ages because you don't need a lot so it's worth the quite reasonable price tag.

great pressed powder! have been using it for more than 5 years now, shade 2 and i love how natural it looks.
i use it in spring and in autumn before my skin gets really dry and a bit patchy around my nose. that's why i can't use it in winter - it emphasizes flaky skin. but in spring and autumn when my skin behaves well i like the silky effect it gives to my skin. I apply it with a powder brush and wait for a minute before color shows on the skin.
always repurchase

Not quite my HG powder, but the best I've found so far. I use it on it's own on 'no makeup makeup' days, or to set my liquid foundation if I'm going for a fuller coverage. It doesn't go on matte on my oily/combination skin and leaves a slight glow, which I love. I also use this over the top of my BB creams if I want a medium coverage. It never goes cakey, even with top ups throughout the day. It doesn't last all day and I do need to touch up every 4 hours or so, but this isn't an issue since the compact is so convenient.
My only gripes with this are the price and the colour selection. 1 compact lasts me around 2 months, which isn't very long and considering it's around £10 in the UK, it's an expensive thing to be re-purchasing so often! The colour selection is also poor, the lightest shade is far too pink for my warm skintone, so I have to wear the second lightest shade which is slightly more neutral but a little bit too dark. It's not noticable as long as I bronze my neck & chest, but it would be nice to have a better match so I could skip the bronzing when I'm in a rush.
Will definately continue to repurchase but I'm still on the hunt for my HG.

This powder foundation is the best for my oily skin. It absorbs well but it doesn't last that long (3-4hrs). The coverage is medium, I need a concealer to use along with it. My skin doesn't get clogged and I don't get extra acne from the daily use.
I will keep on buying this as it is by far the only foundation my skin tolerates on a daily basis.

This is a brilliant powder foundation, and the ingredients are good too.It is not what I would call full coverage, but it's good enough for me. I use it mainly in summer, when liquids plus powder on top can be too much on a hot day. It is also great if you need to touch up.Does not look caked on.If you want heavier coverage, Cliniques almost make up powder foundation is also good, but the clinique one dosen't seem to look as good after a touch up. Looks too heavy. Overall I prefer the max factor version, both have spf 15.Both have excellent sun protection with titanium dioxide.I must have bought this facefinity about 10 times now and always will. Fantastic product.

I absolutely love this product. I don't like to use much makeup on my face, because I have very sensitive skin that tends to break out after some foundations or powders. However sometimes I need coverage for a blemish or two and this product does the job perfectly. My skin is quite dry that tends to be oily in the t-zone. This powder absorbs any excess oil, stays on all day and doesn't dry my skin. The coverage is medium, I would say, which works best for me. It depends on how much powder you want to use, you can build up and look very matte and flawless but very made-up at the same time. My skin is very pale and shade 01 Porcelain matches my skintone very well (though I would prefer more pink undertones). The packaging is also very nice. It comes with a big sponge and a big mirror (bigger than in most compacts) and looks quite stylish. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Good to use as a powder, but not only as a make up. It looks good for the first time, but after a few hours it melts and my skin looked oily. It doesn't control my oily skin for a long time. I expected more from this price.
Update(***): I think I'm going to buy it again. I use the lightest shade as a matte highlighter.

I LOVE this stuff! It really is my HG foundation/powder. My skin tends to be oily in the t-zone, and I used to have bad cystic acne on my forehead but thanks to a year of using Duac from the doctor (a creamy gel ŵith BP and clindamycin, which is an antibiotic) I now very rarely get spots.
I use my primer first on freshly washed skin (I don't use moisturiser as my skin doesn't need it, I do at night though). At the mo my primer of choice is Too Faced Primed and Poreless. I then apply concealed around my nose, under my eyes and on any minor imperfections. I then apply this all over my t-zone and spread it out over my cheeks etc. I am MAC Nw15 and I use this in Porcelain. I then apply some sort of coral coloured bronzed all over my face to lift my colour (at the mo I am using BeneFit Dallas).
This does not break me out, but more importantly it keeps me looking flawless from 7am until 11pm! It does not oxidise, and I do not feel greasy to the touch. I sometimes spritz my nose with a water mist, blot and then reapply this if it has been a hot day, but other than that it remains perfect!
I have tried many expensive powder foundations but this is the only one that I repeatedly hit pan on and repurchase.
Try it, if it doesn't work you can always keep it in your handbag for touch-ups!

This is one of my many HG products that is forever in my make up bag.
Its one of the best powder foundations in terms of pigmentation, colour spectrum and staying power. I tend to use it with a blending brush from Mac to set my concealer rather than use it all over my face as I find powder foundations to be a bit too much for my skin.
But I adore it. Brilliant for touch ups and cult product for a reason, well worth a purchase.

I have been buying this product for about 2-3 years now and I can say from 'trial and error' that this is one of the best powder foundations I have ever used!
It is not a foundation you would use on its own, I used it was a finishing powder and gives me a perfect matte finish. At £10.99 in Superdrug, it is an expensive product considering it is drugstory but looking at the pros and cons, it is well worth it!
It lasts for a good few months (keep in mind that I use this product almost daily), the packaging is of good quality, you are given a big mirror which is great in comparison to other compact small mirrors and ofcourse, it leaves your face flawless!
The (very few) cons are the price and range of shades. My skin is very fair (almost white!) and I have a yellow undertone to my skin whereas Max factor's facefinity is more suitable for pink undertones but I did not let this stop me using it. I use 'Natural 03' shade and as long as I use a lighter liquid foundation underneath, it works perfectly for me!
Highly recommend this product!

Love it! Have been using this one for years. It covers perfectly (I use a little bit of foundation underneath it) and unless it is very hot it last all day:) Not to expensive either. I have tried mineral foundations of any kind, but they just don't cover up my impurities like this one:)

This product is fairly good and I use it when I need less coverage. It feels really light and creates a nice finish on your skin. However I wouldn't say that it lasts the whole day and it's coverage really isn't great.

This is The BEST compact foundation,I tried many&foundations.I remember using this younger, liking the allday matte finish.I was afraid it would look dull on me now, noup! It gives the most even finish, prettiest when applaid with lightly dampened sponge. Not dull like Mac studiofix(I look like walking dead).I have more dry/dehydrated skin now,and makeup tends to cake&flake sides off my nose where I have redness&broken capillars to cover.I can put even 3 layers(time between)and it still doesnt cake. And it has best staying power of any foundation I have tried(many!).I also use it on top of foundation as a concealor.Porcelain is perfect match.Mufe 2,hd 115,Dior 020 powder&liquid etc.

This is my all time favourite face powder! I honestly cannot recommend it enough. I first bought it about 5 years ago when i couldn't afford to buy my usual mac studio fix powder and thought i would try something new. I am SO pleased i tried this! I wear it on top of my moisturizer (sometimes primer) without any liquid foundation and find it to have brilliant coverage. Whilst is does a great job of covering blemishes (i have spot prone skin) it is still SO light and does not cake at all. It does not make you look like you are wearing a lot of make up (unlike mac studio fix powder) and it layers very well. Over the years I have been tempted to stray and try other foundations (even trying higher end brands such as estee lauder) but have always regretted it and come crawling back to max factor. Try it, you wont be sorry.

I have this compact for over 2 months now and it has made its way to my make up bag I carry around. The first thing you'll notice is the packaging, which I consider amazing. Too bad I feel the price is higher mainly because of that. That doesn't mean it's a bad product, no!
The sponge is very good quality, so I use it. It covers nicely, not a lot, but nicely. It's good for those rush mornings when you just don't have much time to focus on blending your foundation. It also lasts suprisingly well. If you have oily t-zone like me, you'd have to reapply it there throughout the day though.
I love to use it for my undereye circles, it works awesome for that and stays all day!
Even though the foundation says SPF 15, I thought that's supposed to make your skin a bit more glowy. Well, it doesn't on this foundation.
But I would definetly repurchase again, because it's the best drugstore compact I've come around!

This is horrible! The only good thing I can say about it is the case is nice and convenient. Shame the contents are awful. The lightest shade is too dark for me and just looks orange. The coverage is too heavy and dull. It's expensive and doesn't last long. And worst of all it caused me to get acne which took ages to clear even after stopping using it. I will never touch this muck again!
