I love Pacifica with a fierce passion and would buy every product of theirs if I could afford it,
except this one. I feel awful saying that, though.

I recieved this recently as an early Christmas gift. I don't agree with the other reviewers play-doh statements- I feel like one reviewer said "play-doh" and everybody else read it and ran with it. At first this was a lovely vanilla scent, but I felt that it quickly dried down into something that resembled a deep root-beer type scent. A casual scent, and attractive to some, I'm sure, but I'd far prefer a warm and comfy vanilla. As to that, I'd recommend instead Pacifica's Island Vanilla fragrance. It's recieved many positive reviews here on MUA. c:

This is horrible!!! PLEASE do not get this confused with the Island Vanilla! I got this from an Ebay seller that was NOT clear! She simply had *Pacifica Vanilla*, I dod not know this one even existed, it is the WORST thing i have ever smelled, I dont even see how this got manufactured. I know scent choices vary, bt i dont see ANYONE like this!! its Plastic Chemical Rotten Playdoh, absolutely Nauseating! The Island Vanilla is scrumptuous!

It's strange that a natural vanilla perfume can smell so synthetic. With almost no lasting power. Too bad because I kind of like the plastic-y note.

I love the scent of vanilla and am always searching for the perfect vanilla fragrance. unfortunately this is not it. I just want to verify what the reviewers said below- there is a strong scent of play-dough! there is a whiff of vanilla, but a stronger one of play-dough :-(

Frankly, this vanilla is kind of dull. It doesn't pop or wow, but it's alright. It's a rather bland vanilla with no depth. I hate to say this but there are cheaper vanilla's on the market that smell nicer. The only plus is it's 100% natural, but overall keep shopping for another vanilla ladies.

A little muddy on its own, but not unpleasant. A good office scent. Really nice layered with the Mediterranean Fig from Pacifica.

Oh my. It's TRUE--this smells just like Playdoh. Wah! Smelled great when I sniffed it in the store--what happened? Thankfully this didn't break the bank, but I feel ripped off no matter how little I paid for it. Will never be wearing it. Now I'll have to find some young unsuspecting niece to pawn this off on.

I am a big fan of both Pacifica and Vanilla, so I was really psyched when I found a bottle of this on sale. But I have to agree with the other reviewers: PLAY DOUGH!! I wore it to the courthouse the day my fiance and I went to apply for our marriage lisence, and that experience lwill forever be marked by my fiance leaning over to kiss me and saying "Wow - you smell like play doh!" UGH! I gave it to my sister and it happens to smell really nice on her, but personally I give this NO lippies! One of the biggest disappointments to date.

i am really shocked that this was not done better! i don't dislike it but it does have a muted aura about it...it's not sweet enough,if you are a big vanilla fan you might prefer "amorito" from the body shop or V.S. vanilla lace! i wore this pacifica vanilla vera cruz and my friends son wondered aloud "WHAT SMELLS LIKE PLAY-DOUGH?" and THAT'S what it smells like: play dough and chalky mylanta tablets...

I am always in search of the perfect vanilla. This is almost it. The best so far is Aveda Vanilla Absolute. The only problem wih that one is staying power- zilch. Pacifica's Vanilla Vera Cruz lasts much longer and has a hint of spiciness or fizz to it. Not cinnamon, but more like a zesty almost rootbeer quality. In my opinion, it's better than the coveted Tihota (too boring and flat) and it's only $20 a bottle! I found that layering it with Jo Malone's Orange Blossom is pure creamy bliss, but it is also sooo good alone. I do not like that it does not come with a cap. I do like the mod/island designed bottle and art work. UPDATE: This lasts like less than 5 minutes and I have to spray it so much just to get it to do that! So disappointing!
