This brush is so dense yet soooo soft. I purchased this at target for a little under $20. Pricey for drugstore yet cheap compared to mac and other high end brushes. I use this brush for blush and on some occasions for contouring, although I prefer a mac 109 for that. Def would repurchase!

Bought this brush years ago and didn't use it. Just got into contouring. This is great for that. Small size is great for getting into hollow of cheek.

This is a perfect brush. Great for contouring. The handle is sleek and ergonomic. The bristles NEVER fall off. It is dense yet incredibly soft. And all for a great price too!

I like this brush, I really do. However, all the positives about this have been out ruled by the fact that after about 3 months it SHEDS! I didn't realize how bad it was until my sister told me she'd waited 3 days but she thought I had black hairs on my face -__- Thankfully it was the brush and not my face, but I was shocked and now petrified to use this again!

I have this brush and I haven't noticed it shedding. It is very soft, but not AS soft as some of the other Sonia professional brushes. It is great for apply blush or bronzer if you're in a hurry because it picks up a lot of color but you can still blend. The only bad thing is that these black bristles aren't as soft as all the other brushes! I'm actually on the search for a better angled blush brush now (maybe Walmart HD, hopefully).
It is also tapered so that it can contour well.
It might NOT be the best for beginners if you have a heavy hand at applying blushes, but for contouring it's fantastic, and it's hard to find a better brush. If you're looking for something for a more sheerer application of bronzers and blushes, I recommend the Sonia dome brush- it's a great multitasking brush- I use it for finishing powders, blushes (for a sheer application) and bronzers. You can use it for light contouring but not really precise contouring.

I do like this brush for applying my bronzer, but it does shed. It doesn't shed immensely, but too much for my liking. It also isn't as dense as I'd like it to be. It's an average brush, but would not repurchase.

I just started contouring so I thought I'd buy an inexpensive contouring brush. I love it though it's so soft and picks up the right amount of product. And I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but I've had no trouble with sheding.

This brush is soft. I use it for blush or contouring. It blends well and does not shed so far. I like the handle it is easy to hold. The shape of the brush is perfect for my rounder face. I can really define my cheekbones well with it.

I also purchased this brush on clearance at Target. I love it! I use it to apply highlighting powder on top of cheekbones, browbones, and I use the tip to place a highlight in the inner corners of my eyes and slightly under them also. It is a very versatile brush.

I got this one on clearance at my local Target. I think i paid like $6.40 or something like that. I am really pleased with this brush. I used it for my blush and the color stayed longer. It could be because it is such as small brush that it does pack on the color really well. Very impressed with the quality of the brush. I agree with a few reviewers below, i wish it was a little bit bigger. That's why i took one lippie off. I will recommend this brush and i do own some other Sonia Kashuk brushes and i am really impressed with the quality. Highly recommend checking out these brushes.

I actually bought this to use as a foundation brush for my Everyday Mineral samples, so I can't really speak of its contouring qualities (my current blush is a cream). It hasn't shed yet and does a good job getting powder on the face. I also kept the packaging to store my brush in since it's mixed in with a bunch of other junk in my drawer. Yay for useful packaging!

PROS:
-Shape is absolutely perfect for highlighting & contouring.
-Bristles are soft and plush yet firm enough for precise application.
-Handle is ergonomically designed for comfort.
-Reasonably priced for the quality you get.
-I have owned this brush for well over a year and it has never shed a single hair and looks exactly as it did the day I bought it - and that is after tons of use and washes.
CONS:
I wish it were a teeny tiny bit larger.
I highly recommend!

i've had this brush for a few months now and i'm pretty pleased with it. I use it to stipple and blend a contour color under my cheekbones, but sometimes it is just too small a brush to blend easily with, so i occasionally grab a bigger, fluffier brush to blend out. the bristles are nice and soft and pretty dense, and since it's on the small side it's great for detailing. the shape of it really helps with contouring and adding highlight on top of the cheekbones. i would repurchase because it's pretty good quality and i've never found another brush quite like it.

This is my HG blush brush. I was looking for a blush brush that would give me more control when applying blush, and this is perfect. The brush head is much smaller than most other brushes, which is great for applying blush directly to the apples or sides of the cheeks. I have had this blush for over a year, and I don't think it's ever shed at all. This is a great brush, I highly recommend it.

I always have issues with the big fluffy blush brushes......they plop blush all over. This is a perfect size for the apples of your cheeks. I know it's supposed to be used for contouring; but I don't do that. I just like the concentration of color and smooth application with this brush. however, since it's a 'cheap' brush, after about 2 monthes of daily use a new one will be needed.

I LOVE this brush. Yes, really... l-o-v-e. For the longest time, I was contouring with an old Clinque brush that came a gift set from about 10 years ago. That Clinique brush held up really well, and even though bristles had broken and splayed, they'd broken and splayed in the perfect way, making what was once a blush brush into the perfect contourer. Well, I figured that it probably wouldn't last forever, and so my search for a new brush began. I went through a lot of MAC brushes, trying to find one that I liked that wouldn't break the bank, but settled on trying the Sonia Kashuk first. Well, I haven't needed to purchase anything else because this brush has just been fantastic. It's great for contouring (of course) but also for applying blush to very specific areas, and works beautifully with highlighters. The quality of the bristles is amazing. They're soft and supple, full, but not too full, and a nice length. I have no problems picking up enough of whatever I'm swiping it across, and it deposits color evenly. I loved this brush so much that I went out and bought 2 more - one for my mom, and another one for myself just in case!

This design is part of Sonia Kashuk's premium line of makeup brushes (black handles), packaged inside white and clear plastic cases. The Contour Blusher Brush is a narrower version of her Angled Blush Brush, featuring a long, contoured handle for easy grip, and synthetic (yet soft and plush) bristles. It works best for precise application of contour shades or highlight powders. Obviously $14.99 is a pretty steep price for a brush used for such subtle touches, but Target does occasionally put the line on sale.
