It feels nice and the colors are nice, but after a bit, the color gets very uneven and it doesn't stay for long at all. Just looks pretty, that's all.

This review is for superstay powergloss 12h.
I have it in 605 satin glow. The color is really pretty, a light natural pink. I dont like the gloss-side. Its waay too sticky. Feels like i have glue on my lips. The color lasts for a decent amount of time. Not 12h! More like 2-3h. I would not purchase this in a darker color cause it wears off patchy. Im not sure if I will repurchase. Maybe if I find a good deal :)

This product was a wonderful unexpected surprise!! I usually hate the lipsticks and glosses that stay on forever because they usually start feeling dry, but not this one! It comes with 2 ends. You put the color end on first and wait 2 minutes. Then you put on the color, super shiny gloss. The only one I have used is "Radiant Ruby". It is your classic red and I usually despise red on me. Granted, this is not your everyday, daily lip gloss/color to use but it is a product you would want to have in your make-up bag. It stays on forever and it doesn't come off on your glass or on someone's cheek or hand when you kiss it. I'm not sure if it is discontinued because I got mine on e-bay. I am getting ready to order another and try some other colors but I thought I would write this on here to let some others know how great this stuff works (at least for me) I really hope you have as much success as I did!!

I absolutely love these. Best stay-on formula I have ever tried. It really does stay on through eating and drinking without feeling dry, at least as long as you don't eat too much oily food.
I don't like wearing lipgloss, so the gloss end on this is awful for me, it's just too shiny and sticky. So instead I use the balm that comes with the regular Superstay lip colours. The thing is that the colour part in the lipgloss and the lip colour are pretty much the same formula, but the colour part of the lipglosses is usually a bit lighter. I like natural lip colours, so using the colour from these and the balm from the others works out great.
Before applying these, I like to put on something like Clinique's Moisture Surge, or any other hydrating gel. It works well to hydrate the lips without leaving any sticky residue. When applying, do *not* apply more than one layer of colour. Sometimes it works, but a lot of the time this will be too thick and make the lipstick cakey. Also, make sure you leave your lips open for two whole minutes so that you're sure it's dry before applying the gloss or balm. And yes, I too find them to be very hard to remove, but that's sort of the point! I think Lancome's Bi-facil does a good job of taking these off, otherwise baby oil is a good alternative. The trick is just to soak your lips in the liquid for ten seconds or so, then swipe. Then repeat this 2-3 times. By doing this, there's no need to rub.
The shade selection of these glosses is great. My favourite has to be Sparkling Sherry, which is like a MLBB with lots of shimmer. Citrus Glow is a nice warm neutral shade, Chestnut Glow is a great browny nude, Satin Glow is great for that soft pale pink nude look, and Radiant Ruby is a great classic red. I love these so much, I think I actually have all the shades, and I keep hunting for more limited editions or shades that were only released in certain countries.

WORST GLOSS EVER!! i store my glosses laying down in a room temperature room and this one leaked everywhere!! and i always make sure to tightly screw it on every time. so maybelline, if your reading this, please fix the packaging!!

onto the product, the color side is HORRIBLE. i dont really know what color i have exactly since the print is so small but i know the number is 120. i like how it stay on forever but it seriously stays on FOREVER!! i cant get it off my lips!! it's crazy!! whenever i try to wash it off, only the inner part washes off and the outer rimm is still left. it looks like i have liplinner on and forgot to fill in the rest of my lips!!

on the other hand, the gloss is very nice. it's clear and it has the perfect consistency and ITS WASHABLE. it also stay on all day. i wish they sold just the gloss side separately

I brought this in the shade coral 744. I was in search for a bright long lasting shade to wear, but didn't want to spend too much for it. I do like that the colour side of this gloss duo lasts! I had to literally scrub it off with my Lush lip scrub in order to get all traces of this off so that's a plus if your looking for some serious staying power. The gloss side of this, I didn't like. It was extremely sticky and my hair stuck to my lips constantly. So embarrassing! Also because of the doe-foot applicator, it was hard to get the last drops of this out of the tube.

I bought this gloss at a mom and pop store |Super cheap!!|
I purchased the color Rhinestone Pink,a sparkly baby pink. Looks
beautiful in the tube. This is a liquid lipstick,not a "real" gloss.

With all liquid lipsticks,you apply the "base" coat wait for it to dry,and then apply the "gloss". The product felt dry on my lips,and sticky. I am glad I only paid a dollar for it,I will not be buying this again.

Bought four of these babies- but can't tell you what shades they are in- After you unwrap them it is virtually impossible to mak out anything but the number. SO I got 330-160- 183 and one I can't make out at all.,it's a lovely dark coppery brown. I got one other earth tone- a sheer rosy and pale mocha(330). The other two are 130 or could be 180- either way it's a true pink, and the last 160 is more of a rose. They are all realy pretty on, and have good staying power for a longlasting gloss. But I still think Avon's long-lasting glosses are more rich and offer more coverage. But i will definitely buy more of these!

I am pretty thrilled with myself for buying this (I guess I could say I'm thrilled with the product, but why not take the credit?) I have this in #103. I'm never too pleased with how gloss (on it's own) looks on me. It either does nothing or looks messy-never seems to look "polished' like it seems to on other gals. I also have issues with long wearing products because they are drying and start to look all gritty and weirder than regular lipsticks do, and in less time.
Anyway, I put this on-the first part (color) and forgot all about it, what with being drunk and all. Then I remembered that I had yet to put on the second step (gloss). THEN I forgot about it AGAIN cause, well, you know. However, by the time I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I had sobered up enough to recognize A. Myself, and B. Myself in a VERY flattering, polished-looking gloss. This stuff really holds up but doesn't look lipstick-y. It truly looks like a gloss, which is what I was skeptical about. But lo and behold it delivers. Plus, for me, anyway, the fact that the color base is NOT a gloss, it remains more pronounced, so even a light shade like this one holds it's own. Yay.

There's 2 sides to this lipgloss, the colour and the actual gloss. You apply the colour first, wait 2 minutes for it to dry, then apply the gloss.
I have this in 103 Rhinestone Pink, a pretty pale pink with sparkles. Similar to Rimmel Candy, Prestige Sophia and lighter than Maybelline Pink Sands. They don't have many shades in Australia and I'm surprised that this is the only light-medium pink, because it's so light and isn't suited for everyone. Looks great with a dark/smokey eye.

* COLOUR
- The length of time this lasts is just AMAZING. I dabbed a bit onto the back of my hand to test the colour, and after 2 days and a lot of soap/scrubbing it has NOT budged at all. Though it should come off with makeup remover. On my lips it stays through drinking, a shower, etc.
- Application is a little hard because the doe-foot applicator doesn't spread it very evenly, and it's easy to apply too much. Would work much better with a lipliner and applied with a lip brush, but this makes application take much longer than I would like.
- Do NOT let it dry if it's not applied perfectly, because it will be super hard to fix.
- The colour on my lips came out much more sheer than in the tube and on my hand. I wasn't happy with the pigmentation so I waited for my first coat of colour to dry (2 minutes), then applied a second coat. The result was really nice, this lipgloss acts as a lipstick too!
- Need to work quickly because it does become tacky quickly.
- Leaves your lips slightly dry, super sticky and disgusting.

* GLOSS
- The applicator for the gloss is a white brush. I thought it would pick up the pigmentation from the colour end but so far it hasn't.
- Takes away the stickiness from the colour end (which felt very dry and like my lips were stuck together), but replaces it with the tackiness/stickiness of a regular lipgloss.

- - -
* PROS
I love how incredibly longlasting this is, and how it doubles up as a lipstick/lipstain too!

* CONS
Leaves your lips very sticky. You would not want to be kissing anyone while wearing this. Application also takes a very long time - to get the colour even, then to wait for it to dry before applying the second side.

I have mixed feelings about this gloss. I got it in golden pink which is a total NarsOrgasm dupe.
But the color side isn't blendable which is annoying if I'm applying this when I am out and don't have a lipbrush. The color is pigmented enough it's not super sheer but not like a mac lipcolor. It is quite drying though. But it's not sticky. I went out when it was windy and my hair didn't stick to my lips too badly. Theres no smell which is great. This really does last. I had this on for a few hours then washed my face and it was still on! The packaging on the gloss side kindof sucks. It gets stuck so its inevitable that you will get gloss on the outside of the tube and your hands. I hate that color gloss gets on the clear side brush. I got this in a bogo1/2off so I'm not really complaining but I most likely would not purchase this again. It is not that cheap for a few dollars more you can get a MAC lippy.

YUCK! I think I got a bad batch, because mine was FOUL. I got heaps of different colours from a family member who actually works at Maybelline, so I find it hard to believe that all of the colours I was sent were bad, but who knows. The problem? The gloss is extremely sticky. I'm not even over exaggerating, it sticks my lips together and to separate them actually hurts. Then after I put the chap stick thing on, all of it groups up into gunk in the middle of my lips. Its horrible and I hate it. Waste of money.

Comparing this to the Superstay Lip color. Both have great shades to chose from however the gloss base coat does not last as long as the lip color and I end up with a lip liner look within an hour or so.
The real deal breaker on the SS gloss.?...the top coat. Here's the breakdown;

SS Lip color- base coat opaque, top coat smooth and shiny. twist up.application
SS Gloss- base coat sheer, top coat sticky and super shiny. brush application
The gloss has a top coat that will make your lips stick to themselves and anything they come in contact with! Also practically removes the top coat within minutes.

My advise. Buy the SS Lip color. Longer coverage and adjust superior top coat as you like it.

I do not like this at all. The product is sticky and cakes onto your lips -HIGHLY unattractive. Even after exfoliating my lips like mad, no change.

Staying power IS indeed good, but the fact that it looks so awful takes away that

Will not repurchase, ever.

I love this stuff!! i dont like the extremely noticeable lip gloss or lipstick, i like the more nuetral colors, and this looks so natural on its amazing, and it seriously lasts forever. ive never found a lip gloss that lasts as long as this stuff does. and it doesnt have that gross, sticky texture to it like alot of lip glosses to. this lip gloss is amazing :)

I love this longwearing lip product (& I am not usually a fan of this kind of longwearing lipcolor). Since this is the kind that you have to use special makeup remover to get it off your lips, I call it lip PAINT.

I've been waiting for this type of product to come out in sheerer formulas & better colors....& FINALLY (!!!) they did.

I bought several pink & mauve colors @ full price (I never find stuff on sale when I want it). I plunked down $7 each & now I enjoy wearing them for endless hrs @ a time. I don't like thick, garish, opaque colors on my lips & these are beautifully sheer & translucent - they enhance natural lips w/a sheer wash of soft, flattering color & blinding super-gloss shine.

The clear liquid topcoat is thick, smooth & super-wet shiny. While other gloss topcoats fade & wear away really quickly, this 1 lasts FAR longer than expected, even thru a light meal! Very worth buying & definitely easy lipcolor to apply because it's sheer & shimmery (not very frosty) which gives the color excellent dimension & a very kissable look.

As another reviewer mentioned, some of these tubes do leak & the single 1 of my set that does leak I keep standing uprightup in a glass so it won't make another mess in my drawer like the 1st time. I lost ~1/2 of the great topcoat gloss thanks to the leak. But the others seem to be sturdy so far & can store horizontally in a drawer. Storing them in a glass is nice though, since keeping them vertical clear-side down prevents gloss leaks & allows me to differentiate btwn the colors sticking out from the glass. So this is generally a nice product (leak threat notwithstanding), & kudos to Maybelline for being the 1st (& probably the only) company to make sheer paint-on 2-step lipcolor. The color lasts *all day long* & as I mentioned before is a pickle to remove - I have to dissolve it w/oil & rub off w/tissue.

Love these!!
