I have no problems using this eyeliner on a daily basis. It doesn't smudge very much, if at all, and has a nice colour. I use the black one. The problem I do have with it is that it's NOT WATERPROOF. It comes off with water, you don't even need eye makeup remover. I tried wearing it in Cuba and looked like a raccoon. Don't use this as a waterproof liner. It is fine for a daily eyeliner though.

GREAT product. I bought one for $3.99, which is a very good price for make up in Canada. I usually can't work with liquid liners because their so difficult for me to use so when I bought this one I didn't have high hopes but wow this blew me away. It was so easy to use, I get my liner the way I want it every time. The brush not too flimsy and it picks up the perfect amount of product. It's waterproof so it doesn't smudge on me for the whole day. BEST liquid liner I ever used! After a few days of using this I went out to buy backups! I got 2 more. Will repurchase for sure but I don't know if they discontinued this product. I didn't see it on the Maybelline website. that would be a bummer but I have 2 more backups!

It stays on my very oily lids for all day. But it smudges a bit on the lower lash line after a few hrs. Pigmentation is on par w/L'Oreal Lineur Intense in Carbon Black tho

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this eyeliner. I have it in black.
Pros:
- really easy to apply.
- stays on for a long time.
- easy to wash it off.
- dries fast
Cons:
- NOT waterproof AT ALL, a little bit of waterdrops will wash it off.
- If I want to draw a thick line, when I go over it too many times (like 3 times), the previous line that I drew will come off. (if this makes sense O.o)

Overall, this is a GREAT product. I DEFINITELY will buy this again.

i have this product in black, and i really loved it! the tiny brush made it easy to apply and just with one quick swipe i was good in no time.! i also really loved this product because im really good at doing the 'cat eye swipe' or winged liner and this helped make it a sucess , will definitiley repurchase!!

I love this eyeliner. It goes on great, and stays on.

I like the dark brown, because I feel black eyeliners are too harsh on my eyes.

I only line the top of my eyes because I feel if it's all around it looks like too much, but once I put mascara on it looks perfect.

I would definitely buy this product again.

A great eyeliner, especially for dramatic looks. One thing I dislike about this product is that it can be a bit of a pain trying to get it off (smudges all over, can get in eyes). The applicator tip is very good to use, except that it keeps having some of the material come out and I have to pull it out. But other than those 2 things, this product is good.

Great eyeliner! Stays on all day and easy to use. Does not smudge or fade. Can sometimes sting the eyes if applied onto the waterline.

I like everything about this eyeliner except that it is NOT waterproof on me. It goes everywhere when my eyes water or after I've been wearing it a while and my lids get oily.

Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I tested it on the back of my hand and let it dry for several minutes. Added a little water. It succumbed like no tomorrow.

I like Maybelline's Ultra Liner better.

This is definitely my favorite eyeliner. I use it all the time. It is a fairly dark brown, but looks a lot less less harsh than black on me. I have used this for years and have always found it easy to apply. It is not really waterproof, but I prefer this because I do not have to use an oily makeup remover to take it off, but it lasts well throughout the day.

this is a great product! i never had problems with it..it dose not run out thorough the day. Easy to use! I can wear it on my water line even. It last all day. Perfect for both dramatic and natural looks!

This product has a really easy handling, great for anyone starting out with liquid eyeliner. I would say that it got a little gloopy sooner than I expected it to be (started in around 3 ,almost 4 months) so I couldn't really make a very defined tip at the end. Although in return I used what was left as my waterlining product,which worked very well beause I tend to waterline with liquid liners. When it dries it does not transfer to my lower waterline (what waterproof pencil liner always does to me) so it lasts all day long and gives me the definition I want without having to look like I have eyeliner on at all~ Wasn't to expensive at all and had a nice colour (looked more black than brown on asian skin tone)

Loveeee it!! Haha it's nice and easy to control, and it barely budged that much even after my 2 hour track practice, where we basically did a mile with hurdles and then ran another mile in 90 degree weather. Comes off really easily with eye makeup remover. And the brown is less harsh than black, and wearing it with brownish mascara really brings out my brown eyes! I wish they made the packaging cuter, it's kinda boring but whatevs, it's my favorite liquid eyeliner!

Love this! I picked this up on a BOGO deal and I am so glad I did. I've never used a brown liquid eyeliner (I always go with black), but this made me change my mind. The felt tip makes it very easy to make a precise line, and the color is wonderful. I wore it to class and a party, and this eyeliner stayed put, color intact, all day and night! For the price and surprising high quality, this is definitely worth a try.

This stuff is fabulous. It lasts all day (8-12 hours) on my very oily skin. It is easy to apply with its felt tip, but since it dips in the eyeliner rather than working like a pen, I have control over how much I use. This is much cheaper and works MUCH better than Make Up For Ever Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. MUF ends up on the bridge of my eyelid within about 5 hours and is much harder to apply with its brush that always seems to have a stray strand spreading make up where I don't want it.

In this case, the more expensive product is not better.

My HG eyeliner! It stays on all day on my oily lids and I always get a precise line with it. It does not dry to a dull brown like some liquid eyeliners do, it stays true to color, a rich chocolate brown. It's dirt cheap and lasts for quite some time. It truly does stay on all day, even through 3 hour naps (yes, I tested it). I put it on in the morning and it looks exactly the same when I come home from class. Highly recommended.

This is by far the best eyeliner I have tried! I have always been skeptical of liquid eyeliners because I thought they would make me look too "made up", but this one gives of an "expensive" finish. It doesn't look cheap and it tries to a matte opaque chocolate brown. I have incredibly oily lids, I'm exposed to the elements (wind, snow, rain) on my college campus, and even when I go out at night, the same eyeliner is still there as when I applied it early in the morning. It is absolutely fantastic. Also, it's great for putting in your waterline, I have found it stays there and doesn't run. I would repurchase this again and again.

They may have bought back the old formula, because the brown liner I have is matte (the way I remembered it) in the same silver, but brown-capped packaging. The liner does not have a cheap, shiny finish and does not flake off of me. This product is great. It's not entirely waterproof, yet it lasts all day on my upper lids. Although I am a high-end cosmetic fan, I realized I should've stuck to this non-irritating liner. I love the brown color--dark enough, but not so dark as to appear black. It dries quickly, but not so quickly as to give no time for smudging (i.e. Hourglass Calligraphy liner). The felt-tip is sturdy and not too fine. I have yet to find a nicer product in the department store.
