I got this brush in a kit a couple of summers ago. It's meant to apply the Feather Light Mineral Veil which I did not care for, but I use it for my bronzer and occasionally for my blush. It is a stippling type brush so it really does a good job of lightly applying the product to look natural but still there. I do not know how much this costs regular price, but it was a good deal as it came in a kit with a bunch of other products and a really nice cosmetics bag for about 54 dollars I believe. I have never been much a fan of Bare Escentuals brushes--too scratchy--but this one isn't scratchy at all and I would put it up against any MAC brush with a similar purpose.

I also love this brush! I've been looking for a dupe for MAC's 187 brush for ages, and this is definitely it - it gives a smooth, airbrushed coverage with liquid foundation, buffs in cream foundation nicely, and applies powder very well. I'd definitely buy it again!
The price is also much better than MAC's - I bought mine on eBay on £5! Well worth it.

I LOVE this brush!! I have the Sonia Kashuk skunk brush that I bought for pigmented blushes and it was waaaay too big for my cheeks, I was contemplating buying a Mac 188 when I received this as a lovely RAOK, and it instantly killed my Mac brush lemming. This brush is *PERFECT* for my really pigmented blushes (Rock & Republic Immoral or Kinky for example), it is so soft, picks up just the right amount of blush, and is the perfect size for my face. Love it!

I feel like a hypocrite for saying this, but I use bare minerals brushes for liquid foundation, but what the heck, I do. I use this brush to get that airbrushed, stippling effect with my Clinique foundation. You have to be patient and stipple for a few minutes to really blend the foundation, but after a minute or two, you get flawless skin! I do notice a little bit of the foundation stays on the brush, but that's great if you want a natural look that you can build up with layers. This is also great to use with Mineral Veil and a lot cheaper than the MAC 187 that I wanted for such a long time. A great substitute for that.

I don't know why I've waited so long to review this amazing brush. I bought it to use it with my Bare Minerals Matte, but it sucked for that. Then I decided to use it for blush (which I believe is what this brush is supposed to be used for) and for that it works like a dream! Currently I have three of them: one for peach or coral blushes, one for pink or mauve blushes and one for bronzer or orange blushes. YES, it is THAT GOOD!!! I don't know the regular price of these, but I got them from ebay at $10 each and all from the same amazing seller. However, I only use them at home. It scares me a little bit to carry them on my makeup bag and damage the bristles, so for touch ups I use a different brush. Give this a try, you will love it!!!

I don't really use BE products in general, but I swapped for this brush because I have a thing for duo-fiber stippling brushes. The more I use it, the more I like it! The shorter handle is awesome, the head is just dense enough. I love to use this brush with my MUFE HD Invisible Cover Foundation, I just pump out one dollop on the back of my hand and use the brush to stipple all over my face and then buff. Perfect foundation application in under 2 mins!
I'd also image this to be great for blush, but I haven't used this particular brush, as I use the 188 currently.

I used to love this brush, but after washing, it has never been the same. This is probably my least favorite BE brush, next to the Kabuki (I think it smells bad and the hairs come off on my face). I bought the Fan brush to replace this one and I like it much better.

I hadn't touched this brush till recently, when I purchased MAC studio tech creme foundation... I have been using it to apply the creme foundation to my face and it does a beautiful job at it! Makes my skin look absolutely flawless and gorgeous... I would recommend this as a foundation brush, if you aren't using it for powders already!

A terrific skunk brush, the BE feather light brush is excellent for applying pigmented blushes. No worries about clown cheeks when using this brush; I use this to build colour in layers to ensure that it looks as natural as possible.
Approx. 6" long with a black handle, this brush is comfortable to hold and a pleasure to use.
I've already purchased a backup of the Feather Light brush and will repurchase if I need to!

My Intended Use/Application - For applying highly pigmented powder blushes.
Product - Duo fiber "skunk" brush with black handle. The brush head is round at the base and packed with brown/tan natural hairs providing support for the longer white synthetic fibers. The soft, longer white fibers gently pick up highly pigmented powder color. The brush head is dense and very soft and gentle on the skin, great for buffing and blending. Not scratchy to the touch at all. Overall length is about 6", very handy size and great for travel also.
Comparisons - The Flirt Feather Dust-Her brush is too skinny and too flimsy for my needs and preferences. I much prefer this brush.
Overall - Great find via swap. Definitely would repurchase this. Already got a backup. :)

I bought based on Hasschen's review and love this brush. I wanted to buy MAC187 but the price is out of my range for a brush. This brush is as good as MAC I often touched at stores. I prefer non-black for brushes so this BE brush fits my requirement. No shedding so far, I washed since I received as I can't bare its original smell. I don't like BE flawless application and full size kabuki brushes as they both shed too much and scratchy. I really like BE's heavenly face, soft focus, and this feather light brushes. This brush is especially great for blushes. It has white top so if you use dark colors, be careful, especially if you want to use with lighter colors. I just bought another one for different blushes. Both are $10 with shipping at ebay.

Update 3/13/08: I recently purchased Ulta Professional Highlighter Powder brush. It's similar to this and MAC 185. These pictures are comparison in appearance:

I purchased Ulta brush in the set when 25% off sales with coupon, it's not much different from this BE brush. If you can find cheaper price like me at ebay, then, pass on Ulta.

I LOVE this brush and use it for almost all whole-face tasks (blush, powder, contour, blending). I washes up beautifully, is super super soft, and nice and firm. Great for a girl like me who has a heavy hand with blush! =) I'm going to buy the other feather light brushes based on this one's quality.

I believe this was only sold in a kit with minerals.
I purchased it off Ebay and ended up buying 2 more.
It is a skunk/optic type brush with a shorter handle than most but I like the control of it. It comes in a cellophane sleeve.
It is denser than the Flirt & EOB versions of this brush but not as dense as Prescriptives which is exactly what I was looking for.
It picks up product well and is great for blending out intense blush like Mango Tango!
I paid around $10 each with shipping etc.
