I dont really like the product. I have really long hair that needs moisture in the ends, andi have found this does not do much in that area. It doesnt really 'smooth down' either. I have tried better smoothing creams and they have worked better. I dont like the smell either, its not sweet, its more chemically smelling. Lucky though it isnt strong and it fades during the day. It doesnt have any staying power.
the price of this is quite expensive in australia. its something like $26. you can get much better products for cheaper.
packaging quality is great, just the normal squeezy tube with a flip top lid.
i would not buy this product again - i would rather matrix biolage smooth down cream. smells nicer and adds moisture.

I'm a big fan of this product. I've been using this off and on for years. I have had a bottle around for a while and have re-purchased this item. I don't buy this all that often because I don't need a lot of product when I use this - and I don't use this every time I wash my hair. I would say that I use this maybe once every 1-2 weeks. This is definitely my go-to detangler. It offers a great level of detangling, but is not heavy or sticky. The scent is fresh and light, not heavy or perfumey. When I buy this, I purchase the small 2 oz. version. The small version is around $4-5. This small version lasts me maybe 6 months. It is a great little thing to try, especially if you are like me and have long hair that gets super snarly - especially when wet!

i have thick curly waist length hair and this is quite an amazing product. i brought it a couple years ago and thought it was causing problems but it was actually my shampoo! *sigh* regardless. i picked this back up 5 months ago and cant believe i put it down! i section my towel dried/damp hair and put a tiny tiny pea size amount between my palms and warm it up before gently combing it thru with my fingers and using a barrel brush to blow dry it. my hair comes out smooth and free of fuzzies and definitely soft. id recommend it but only for particular cases cause it is most definitely not for everyone

This product works well if you use a small pea-sized amount. I have very thick, wavy/straight, super long, color-treated hair and I can ONLY use a small amount or I end up with waxy-feeling hair. The smell is barely there, and you do get a lot of product but the price can be a little excessive so I usually wait for a promo on Redken! Makes hair soft! This creme is my second favorite after Federic Fekkai's olive oil creme!

I used this a few times before blow drying, and I first thought it was just average on my hair. Then I saw a youtube video on air drying relaxed african american hair. Since then I have used this creamy leave-in when I air dry. I really like it this way. I never knew I could forgo blow drying and only have to flat iron my hair after shampooing and conditioning. I have the travel size and it has lasted for awhile. I may eventually repurchase, but I have a few other creams and liquid leave-in conditioners to finish first.

Nothing spetecular about this leave in conditioner. It moisturises slightly and helps with detangling but there are better leave in products out there that do more than just that. L'anza leave conditioners give better results than this but im still seaarching for 'the one' that's going to soften, heat protect, relax, smoothen and add shine and bounce.

I have very thick tightly curled hair and this product does what it says, detangle. I use it to comb my hair out before flat ironing or blow drying. I'm surprised about the low reviews, this produce just isn't for everyone.

This was recomended to me as a " leave in conditioner". I guess it was alright . Turned the blonde high lights in my hair ginga though so I stopped using it. $36.50 a bottle, not bad for the size bottle you get (250mLs) if it worked.

My hairdresser recomended this for my thick, coarse and very frizzy hair, instead of the Butter Treat. The Butter Treat is brilliant, but this dosn't work at all. It is detangling, but as my hair never tangles it's just waste of money. (I never brushes my hair, and still it dosn't tangle.) It dosn't moisturize the hair, or makes it more smooth, so I don't like it. I've given it two lippies, because I partly missunderstood the purpose with the product.

Quite disappointed with this product. I have long, thick, coarse hair with a slight wave.
This product didn't make my hair feel nice or have any redeeming features. Maybe it's just for curly girls? Definitely won't be purchasing again. I'll my pennies and buy some nice Kerastase or something ;)

I have a lot of long, fine, wavy hair that can be coaxed to curl. I bought this because I wanted to try a cream leave-in conditioner. I find it's nothing spectacular and doesn't compare to my infusium 23 leave-in or my aphogee leave-in conditioner. I use it in conjunction with either of these two leave-ins but only on the ends. It's okay, but nothing spectacular and I wouldn't repurchase.

This is a great product that does a great job of controlling my hair. I have med thinkness hair that's curly, whispy, and straight - so it's hard to pick the right product. This particular formula actually works just as good as my Kerastase!! I just use a little before blow drying and I'm good to go - espcially use it on the ends.

I'm surprised of such low rating this product got. I love it, I had travel size (1.7 oz) and it lasted for a long time (and I have long hair). Does a great job in detangling my frizzy and color damaged hair.
Will repurchase.

I've been using a travel-size version, that's lasted me quite a long time (I use it every now and then). I think it does an excellent job in detangling my hair, promoting smoothness and controlling frizz, as it promises to do. A little goes a long way, and it's enough to apply it just to the ends of your hair, NOT close to your scalp. It would be great if it also provided heat and UV protection.

I do not recommend this product for someone who's hair gets oily quickly.
I used this product a few times and each time it left my hair (especially in the back) greasy and nappy.
It's probably better for people who have dry hair/scalp.

This is great for naturally curly hair regardless of wearing it straight or curly. I LOVED IT. A little goes a long way. I will definitely be using this on a regular basis. EDIT: After extended use I noticed my hair was becoming dry, especially on the ends, so I discontinued the use of it.

My sister had this product, and she let me try it one day. I really liked it, so I got one for myself. First, I use Redken's Smooth Down Heat Glide. Then I straighten my hair. I apply a small amount of this Detangling Cream to the ends of my hair, and it makes it feel softer. My hair doesn't really get tangles, so I can't really say if it helps detangle. I wouldn't say it's a miracle product, but it adds a little extra smoothness to my hair :) The tube is huge, so it will last me a really long time.
