Love this colour, never did I think that an orange would be something I would like but it makes my eyes really stand out. I apply it after using painterly paint pot so it applies really well, combined with mac e/s hot hot hot. Just beautiful!

I purchased F&F from Ebay and when I received it I was initially disappointed because it looked identical to another LE MAC color called Off the Page. But upon further inspection I found that there is, in fact, a slight difference between F&F and OtP. F&F is a touch lighter with more yellow whereas OtP has a tinge of red--and they're both frost finishes. The difference is very slight and if you, like I, are a lover of orange then you might want both. However, if you just want a shimmery orange to round out your collection, then you only need F&F OR OtP--not both.

I bought this about 2 years ago and never tried it. I was getting bored with the same old colors and decided to try it out. I put arena from lid to brow, brun in the crease and fab and flashy over arena and got a great eye look! I was in the Mac store to buy some products and the MU said your eyes look gorgeous, did you do them yourself or e did one of our makeup artist do it??? Well, at my age, it is rare that I get any compliments so that made my day!!!!

I had been looking for a true orange eyeshadow all the while. And now I finally got it! Simply pretty and suitable for my NC15 skintone, more cool tone too which is rare.

VERY VERY vivid orange. I put it on and couldn't *really* see it in the lighting of my room (since it was night time), but i took a picture with it on (with flash) and that was pretty much THE FOCAL POINT of the picture. It showed up to be a very bright medium orange. It's a pretty color for the color bold.

This is my first orange eyeshadow, I paired it up w/ moonflower (another LE e/s)... I used this a couple of times already, I like it... But I'm not sure if it works on everyone, if you are yellowtoned... stay away from it, because it will bring out the yellowtone of your skin.

An awful e/s! i don't even know why i bought this...it looks so pretty in the pot, but doesn't show up at all on my skin; it's like there's no pigment in it. I try layering and layering this colour with no luck. This is going out for give aways or in the trash.... :(

This shadow sucks!, and i am being nice. First of all the color has to be pilled on to even be able to get it to be a decent pigmentation, second the color is nothing to be desired eaither, it brings out all the yellow and orange hues in my under eyes. Blah

This is quickly becoming my other favorite eyeshadow from C-Shock, aside from Eye Popping. Most of the colors in that collection, you have to really layer it on to get the color to show up like it looks in the pan, and I don't think that is the case with Fab n Flashy. It layers really well but is very pigmented. The color looks like a frosted orange in the pan, how many more oranges can we have from Mac? But it's actually a pale golden orange and I'm loving this on my NC40-42 skintone. I can wear it alone as a wash, applying it just with my fingers on my lids, and then a little bit of black eyeliner really pulls the look together. It also looks great with pinks and yellows. I want to experiment with it more. Love it.

I would give it a 3.5.
I'm not crazy about this, I've only worn it a couple of times but it is a pretty colour. It's goldish yellow with orange undertones, a bit too orangey for my taste, but it's good for a bright summer look. It has amazing staying power though- I wore it over MAC Primer and went riding and it didn't budge after an hour's sweating! I like to blend it with Benefit's Gilded for a more golden shade.
edit: yesterday, I tried blending Fab & Flashy with Knight Divine and came up with a nice deep brown/bronze which I wore with Rich Ground and it looked quite good! An extra lippy for this.

Fab and Flashy is a pretty orange with golden undertones. I didn't think this color would work well for me because I am a GGG with yellow undertones and warm colors look blah on me. I was highly impressed by fab and flashy. I wear it nearly everyday because it's such a nice neutral that adds some highlight to my lid without depositing too much color. If you're looking for a highly pigmented orange, skip this. GGG's and darker, check out this color, please! You'll probably end up loving it! Too bad it's LE.

I didn't want to review this until I've used it a few times. Fab and Flashy is a pale shimmery orange, slightly goldish yellow. This shadow is pigmented, subtle on my NC30 brown eyes, and different from any other orange shadow from mac. (that I have noticed anyway) I've been reaching for this color surprisingly often, as it pairs well with many colors. I love to pair this with Firespot! Also a great color to create that sunrise theme. The MA also suggested using this as a blush/cheek highlighter (with the 187 /188brush). A great idea but haven't tried it yet. will update.

Woot, C-Shock FINALLY arrived in the UK yesterday and the nice MAC lady let me sit down with some applicators, some wipes and all the colours and play with all the products for something like half an hour - bliss! (You can tell I'm a *really* regular and well known customer in there eh :-) ..... this one's very pretty, I would describe it as a cheerful, bright apricot with a golden shimmer. The texture and colour payoff are awesome..... but I didn't pick it up in the end, as I swatched it against "Cosmic" from the Moonbathe collection (which I also purchased recently), and although MAC describe Cosmic as a gold, and Fab 'N Flashy as an orange, the two were far too similar on my NW20 skintone to justify my purchasing yet another orange after the wonderful orange-extravaganza that was Moonbathe. If I'd seen this first I would have probably had Fab and Flashy in preference to Cosmic, as FnF is brighter and has a more golden pearl, whereas Cosmic is definitely slightly more bronzey....

I was so afraid of all the e/s shades from the C-Shock collection and fab & flashy was no exception. Then I tried it...lovely! It's like a creamsicle with a dash of gold. I love using it as a wash on the inner lid with Trax on the outer corners. You can get a nice, fairly subtle wash with this or really punch it up if you want. I usually stay away from yellow and orange e/s because I have such strong yellow undertones, but this is so beautiful...

If you love orange shadows like I do then this is a must have!
It is a *gorgeous* shimmery orange with an orange golden shimmer in the frost formulation. It's all most like a "hot" bright orange with a touch of "neon-ness" to it. Kinda like an orange creamsicle with more pizazz.
From the C-shock color story June 07.

This is from MAC's June '07 C-Shock collection. Fab & Flashy is described as a mid-tone orange with gold pearl and is a frost finish eyeshadow. I am an NC20 with dark brown eyes and I absolutely love how beautiful this shadow looks on me. The description is on the dot, though I think the color sample on MAC's website is a little dull in comparison to what it looks like in real life. You can definitely wear it more sheer, but I build up the color a little to get a nice, bright (without being too over the top) shade of orange. I wear it with light creams and yellow for a bright, summery daytime look or with browns and coppers to warm it up in the evening. I have a picture of me in my profile wearing it. I will be purchasing a backup of this one since it is Limited Edition and I haven't seen any other colors like it.
