As others have described this polish, it is a blue toned bubble gum pink. I found application to be easy, the formula smooth and opaque in two coats - big ticks from me :) Also, I did get many compliments on my nails and people asking what colour it was - good indication that it looked pretty nice.
The reason I said I wouldn't repurchase this though is because I have sooooo many pinks not to mention other colours so I definitely wouldn't finish the bottle and it's not something I think is so fantastic that I think i'd need a back up bottle just in case :)

I really love this......
BLUE TONED+MEDIUM PINK=BUBBLE GUM color!
Chastity is everything I have been looking for
"cool toned violet/blue bubble gum pink lacquer"
I have bought practically every pink OPI available and none of them were really like this.
Yet, OPI SHORTS STORY is my absolute favorite for a darker yet bright, medium bubble gum with blue/cool undertones pink.
I just also wanted a lil' lighter 'slightly pastel'....true Bubble Gum color. I found it in this.
I am a PPP though, I do tan pretty well.....and I think that this would look good on any skintone.
The issue I have with most Essie's is the application. The brush is smaller than OPI and I do like that....but most of the time, their formula tends to either drip down around my cuticles, too sheer, or its too thick and don't level easily.
Unfortunately, I found the leveling issue with this one to be a problem.
So,I have to thin it every use and have patience while applying.Which I sux.. as I just want to apply 2 quick coats and be done with it.(I get that with most OPI's..Yay!)
But imo, the color is worth it!
Plus,my Poshe top coat helps with the leveling a bit.

Barbie, bubble-gum medium blue-based pink. Too bright for me, so I put on one coat and topped it with a coat of Pink Diamond. I feel like an easter egg. Not horrible - just not pale enough for me. It came out BRIGHTER on my hands than it looked in the bottle, even.

Same great quality as every other Essie polish I have tried, so I will mostly just comment on the color. It looked like a very baby pink in the bottle, but shows as a bubblegum pink on my nails. Looks decent with one coat, but perfect with two. I'd say it's cool-toned, but looks great next to my warm, olive skin. Seems like a great spring and summer color, though I don't follow trends so I'll be wearing it year round. Swapped for this one, but will definitely get it again when I run out.

The perfect medium pink. Very girly and feminine. Unfortunately it did chip a bit, and it was kindy streaky until 3rd coat.
Would I buy this product again? Yes, even thoug it was a bit hard to work with, I still would because of the color.

This is a bubble gum pink that can be very pretty when done properly. Has some blue undertones.
Pros: fun, glossy, and girly; perfect if you like to have a good time and you want people to know it!
Cons: can be streaky when applied. I recommend using at least two coats to get this most out of this polish.
At first blush, Chastity may not seem to be for everyone; but those who give it a try will be pleasantly surprised. When I first bought it (in the summer) I thought it was too pasty... opaque... just not quite right. I pulled it out in the winter and have a newfound appreciation for it. I was bored with my winter burgundies and fuchsias and wanted to explore. If you live in SoCal or on Miami Beach this color could probably become a staple. But, because I do not, I will likely not buy this again (although, I have a feeling one bottle will last me a very long time...)

A bright matte pink color, which is great for summer but a bit too 'loud' for me. I use one coat of this followed by a coat of 'Room with a view', which gives a lovely toned down version of pink. Great for those who are after a 'pure', bright pink.

a bubble gum / barbie pink. VERY opaque which i love. The only problem was it was streaky and needed at least 3 coats.

This is a really sweet looking bright blue-based pink. I'm very fair so it looks lovely on and is awesome for summer. Honestly I'm puzzled by the streaking problem some people are having, I used two coats and it looks great. I also found that it went on smoothly and evenly and dried fairly quickly. Usually with the more troublesome Essie polishes I do have trouble with streaking and ease of application, but this one is definitely not in that category for me.

I like this color because I simply wanted a Barbie pink, and this fits the bill. Cute, a little boring.. I like it though.

If you like a real girly pink, this is for you - an opaque creme finish in cool baby doll pink. Nice on longer nails to make more of an impact than a french manicure and fun on toes, though the cool tone may not suit everyone.
I would agree with the previous reviewer that it needs 3 coats to look even, but I didn't have a problem with gaps.
EDIT: I've gone off this - a little too sickly sweet for me.

I'm torn about this nail polish. The color is simply to die for - super-feminine bright candy pink with blue undertones, very opaque with no sparkle. I would call it Barbie doll pink. My husband absolutely loves it. Looks great on either fair or tanned complexions. But the polish itself is so damn difficult to work with, it's almost not worth it. Unless you apply at least 3 coats, an even application is impossible. Each new coat seems to smear off the coat underneath, so you invariably end up with gaps. It doesn't help that the brush is so skinny, requiring many brush strokes. For pedicures this is OK since toes don't have to look totally perfect, but for fingernails it's unacceptable. Well at least the wear is good if you use a good top coat. UPDATE: OK silly me. Creative Sticki base coat seems to help with even application. Now I can get away with 2 coats and it looks great.
