One whiff of this fragrance was enough for me to decide that I have to have it. It starts out with a white floral accord, followed by a peachy note which then takes you to the drydown: a beautiful, fresh musk(the combo. almost reminds me of the smell of brand new leather). Unlike some musky fragrances which tend to be overdone or heady(white musk, I'm talking to you), this fragrance has just enough musk to come off as clean, while still maintaining it's feminine touch. I remindds me of a woman who is in control; her sensuality cleverly concealed in the daytime, allowing her to conquer the professional world, but at night, she rears her sensual face, and conquers her carnal fantasy. The beautiful packaging, of course, was also a welcomed bonus.

I love this perfume, it smells VERY floral clean and fresh. I've wanted to buy it for a very long time but was afraid because for some reason I just thought it wouldn't last long. I read a lot of reviews that said it lasted long so that's why I decided to commit. I can't say much for the lasting power bcuz enough time hasn't passed yet, but the scent is absolutely lovely. I bought the EDP by the way.

edit: This didnt last on me...tears.

I LOVE this perfume! It's very sofisticated and classic. Clean and simple. I tried on the the parfum in sephora and fell in love. I ended up getting the toilette and was a little disapointed in the difference in scent but it's still amazing no doubt.

ok so my mom got me this for christmas this past year thinking it was coach legacy which is one of my favorites but instead she got the regular coach. i was a little iffy about it at first but then once i wore it it smelled really good on me. it has a very spicy floral smell to it which i usually dont like but i really like how it smells on me. it has become my go to winter and going out at night fragrance. i only spray it on my neck and my wrists and it lasts the whole day. also it sprays very evenly and lightly. so overall i was very pleasantly surprised with this and i really like it.

This scent is my 3rd HG, and I was so surprised to like it! The first time, I didn't think much of it, but the 2nd time, I realized it is a bouquet of flowers. It lasts a long time and leaves a fresh, flowery (but very real flowers) scent that is flattering and soft.
The packaging is awesome, but the price not so much. It is worth it to me for a floral that is unique and beautiful, but honestly Bath and Body Works Butterfly Flower is also a floral and both are great in my opinion.

I love this perfume! It is definitely my HG. It has a lilac layer, which I love and it seems to be impossible to find. It lasts all day for me, too. When I wear this perfume I just wanna sniff myself all day, which I know sounds weird, but I love it so much!

I have mostly body sprays because I tend to get headaches with some perfumes. I have about 4 perfume. This one is a crisp clean scent that is NOT overwhelming! You don't walk into a room and it fills with this fragrance. It is perfect to attract someone because it's subtle yet you just want to get a big smell of it. Well done, Coach

I really dig this perfume. It only smells like fruit on me for the first few seconds, and then it turns into a rich white floral. I get LOTS of the violet and jasmine, which I'm totally okay with, because somehow it avoids reminding me of my grandmother. The packaging is mostly classy too (although personally I could do without the Coach logo all over it -- but then again, that's what most folks buy it for, right?).

It's your standard everyday run-of-the-mill department store type fragrance. It smells like a department store. That mainstream and likely to be a crowd pleaser fragrance....
But OH, MY GOODNESS - it does what it does so seamlessly and smooth and just right that it succeeds so much better than most!

I bought this a few days ago after trying it out on a recent vacation. My hubby loved the scent on me (and he is very picky and a bit allergic to some scents). I liked this because it smelled (for lack of a better word) 'classic'. Yes, it might be a bit boring and generic to some, but the drydown is so nice and elegant! It's definately not a 'hello, here I am' kinda scent, but a nice 'come really close and smell my neck' one...lol! I love this! Although it does need a few refresher spritzes throughout the day ;)

Absolutely in love =) packaging is beautiful, smell is so wearable, longevity is a good 8 hours. with notes of green mandarin, guava, violet petals, water lily, genet flower, honey, orange flower, mimosa, jasmine, sandalwood, amber wood and vanilla... you could not ask for a prettier perfume! i think it is work-friendly and very after-work appropriate. my new favorite scent!

This perfume is a nice and airy floral. Also, i think it has a very clean smell about it. I wore this a few weeks ago when i went out with a friend and as i was driving over to pick her up i kept thinking that i smelled really clean like i had just taken a shower. I had not just taken a shower: i just sprayed this perfume on.

I REALLY wanted to like this one. The initial blast is great, but then the gardenia vanishes (why does gardenia alwyas have to do this?), and the scent becomes a watered down, clean, lotion smell on me. I would love it if that gardenia did not disappear. I am obviously in the minority here though, and am glad others like it. Just wear it around a bit before you purchase, because it really changes.

Ever since I've gone on journey to seek out my HG fragrance, I thought this perfume has been by far the best perfume ever. Before buying this perfume, I have smelled so many perfumes. Some perfumes were too sweet, others were too spicy, Then there were the ones that were too masculine that could've been passed for a cologne and of course there were the ones that were too powerful and overwhelming that it gave me a headache. I left the perfume stores many days disappointed and emty handed.
Then one day, I recieved a sample of Coach parfume in the mail. When I saw the package for it, I thought that it was cute and it even said the word playful so I thought maybe that the smell of the perfume would be a playful smell and possibly too sweet. I was definitely expecting to be dissapointed but then I just thought "what the heck why not still give it a try." I opened the sample and took a good whiff of it.
To my suprise, the smell was so heavenly. I found this perfume to be so perfect. The smell does lean on the more floral side but it is not annoying and not too strong either. I think the smell is very soft but not to the point of being boring. It smells young and fresh but also elegant and sophisticated that I think it can go well with any age group too.
Since I bought the perfume, I have been wearing it everyday for about a month now and I still love the smell. I don't think I could get tired of this fragrance and the best part of all is that it can be worn for special occasions, dates, going outdoors, and everyday.
This perfume is my HG and I hope Coach never stops making this. I will be wearing this more than often untill I finish the bottle and will update again on how I feel about this perfume.
[Edit] 9.12.10
So it has been almost five months since I've bought the Coach perfume. I can confidently say that I still love this perfume very much. There is something I have picked up since I first began wearing this perfume. It's that it smells very much like honey suckle..maybe like a honey suckle soap, which I like! It smells clean, simple (but not boring), and uplifting. I hope this review helps and I will edit again if I pick up anything else from the scent. :)

[Edit] 5.11.12
Okay so after I finished the bottle of the Coach, my significant other has been telling me how much he misses the smell. He thinks it smells like honeysuckle too and loves it so much on me. I have other perfumes that I wear but it doesn't interest him nearly as much. I think I need to go to Macy's and buy another bottle to keep him smiling. lol.

[Edit] 8.29.12
So I still haven't bought another bottle of Coach because I think the perfume is pretty expensive. I still have my empty bottle but my ehem..significant other! won't let me throw it away for the memories associated with it. -_- I will try to finish up my BBW lotions quickly and buy Coach asap.

[EDIT] 9.6.12
Yesterday, he picked a honeysuckle flower and put it next to my bed. He loves the smell alittle too much. lol.

I agree with the reviewer below that said it reminded her of Diorissimo. It is highly floral but not overly so. This is a daily wear fragrance for me, and even my fragrance sensitive husband loves the scent. I put down a 4 for the price, but honestly this bottle was sent to me for as an RAOK - but if I lost my bottle tomorrow I would be running to my Coach outlet to get another.

Do I find this original? No. Do I find this unique? No. However, despite this I find this to be an uplifting clean floral. True, with Coach as its creator, I to thought it would be heavier, with perhaps leather as one of it's notes, but since I do not tend to like those fragrances i am pleased with this. Though not highly unique and original it is a reflection of the types of fragrance that I tend to gravitate towards. It is a nice scent for both spring and summer and am happy to have it!

Its funny to me to read this described as common and generic. In my collection, it is radical. I love oriental and musk fragrances, and still, despite being disappointed again and again, maintain a sad obsession with hard to find and niche fragrances, supporting my vanity that any fragrance, to be "me", must be exclusive and/or rare. Coming around to the idea that this fragrance, which is per reviews below, pedestrian and average, is actually one of the most beautiful things I have ever smelled, has been slow and painful. Its not a niche! It isn't hard to find! It doesn't have kitsch appeal like something I found at Big Lots! It isn't vintage! It doesn't come in a black lacquer box. Everything is wrong, wrong, wrong, except that it smells divine, I spray it on and it makes me feel wonderful. The dry down is exceptional and smells like nothing I have in my collection. Is it because I rarely try fragrances at the mall? I do, and don't dislike most, but don't find them special or interesting. Coach truly is interesting AND beautiful to me. You know what it reminds me of? Diorissimo, circa 1983. Coach opens with what I assume is white florals, but white florals to me usually have the effect of white chalk on a white chalkboard, squeaking like styrofoam, fingernails digging into white flesh on the brink of turning blood red, or, so indolic or narcotic, they have the effect of being covered in syrup, attracting all the dust and animal hair of the universe, dirty. Coach opens like Diorissimo of my memory, lily of the valley, sweet and warm in the spring air, with the slightest heft at the bottom of something rich and vegetal. There is something musky that grounds this, and something vaguely carnal, a soft drumbbeat, that keeps it from being too clean, too soapy, too much harp music, but the general impression is of freshness, sweetness, and gentle warmth, again, with a drydown that turns the accord on its head, emphasizing the warmth and now the sweetness is accent. Now that the weather is warming up it is the only thing I want to wear.

WOW....V-E-R-Y Floral! An attack of Jasmine, violet, lily and Mimosa. I LOVE florals and this is a bit much even for me.

Coach Perfume, somehow I expected it to smell more leathery, more woodsy or green, coming from a top maker of leather goods. Instead this frangrance is exceedingly floral, very ladylike and has NOTHING in common with leather goods.

On first whiff, I get a vision of a dainty ladylike creature dressed for high tea in the garden, complete with a very wide brimmed garden hat.

I'm do not sense the mandarin or guava top notes. I sense the vanilla base note but no woody notes.

This scent has good sillage/excellent lasting power. So if you try it, be prepared to wear a heavy floral for awhile.

I love aldehydic florals (think Chanel No. 5) but this is a bit much of an unaccomplished smelling floral to me. Heavy on the floral, no intrigue, no mysterious middle notes or bottom notes at all.

This is a bit heavier perfume than that which I would wear to work. Actually, it rather makes me think of a funeral parlour full of flowers. Not a good association in a scent really.

I give this 3 stars because it doesn't really smell like a cheap scent but is still one that I cannot highly recommend.

Addendum: This actually reminds me quite a lot of an old vintage Avon scent...but I can't think of the name of it....

Coach, an American brand producing leather gallantry, has launched their first fragrance carrying the same name, Coach. The President and Art director of Coach, Reed Krakoff, described the composition as classic floral which combines mysterious chic of vintage aromas and modern fruity nuances. "We did not want simply to have a perfume. We wanted it to be unique." The beautiful classical bottle features modern print.
The fragrance starts with fresh and energetic notes of mandarin and guava decorated with tender floral nuances of lily and violet leaves. The flower of Genet is in the center, arranged with jasmine and mimosa with just a hint of honey. The precious base includes woody notes, vanilla, amber and iris.
