I love the original Ojon Glossing Cream. It leaves my dry, fine hair soft and smooth and the smell refreshes my hair in between shampoos. I am running low so stopped by Sephora to pick up another tube and they have changed the packaging, formula and smell. I asked the SA and she said Ojon sold the company to Estee Lauder so everything is different. I ended up buying something else but feel so betrayed by the Ojon people. Another small pseudo-organic line selling out to the big cosmetic people for a pay-day. I can't blame them from a financial point of view but so much for the trademark products from the jungles of South and Central America. They're just repackaged Redken products now. :(

I bought this on a whim with all the shine and protect line. I couldn't tell if this is what made my hair shine the most, or the spray I bout with it. Although I don't use the shine spray as much as I use this. ( maybe because i forget) Just a dab of this makes my hair smell great. People here complain about it, but I've got compliments from it. It smells like a strong amber, but it fades away fast into a light amber smell. I like it because it lasts without weighing down my hair. Leaves my hair manigable and smooth, I now love running my fingers though my hair. For the price I'll think before I'll buy again, unless I miss it so much I gotta have it.

This really leaves your hair SHINY! Even shinier than the Kerastase "Reflection" line. It doesn't weigh down my fine, but full head of hair. There's just that faint "cigarette" smell - not as strong as the treatment paste - but it's still there.

This product smells great and leaves my hair shiny and manageable. I rub into wet hair after a shower and comb through. This has replace my glossing cream from Fekkai because that one always seemed to make my hair flat and feel oily and this one smells amazing. The only downside is the price and if you leave it on it's side the product separates and some of the oil can leak out of the cap.

i am a die hard ojon fan...this is a good product for me. I have long thick curly hair. I use about a loonie (canadian dollar) size and rub through my dry hair....ehn curly it enhances , defines my curls and when straight it gives me great shine and protection from flat ironing. it is expensive stuff so I only get it when on sale in a kit on HSC.

Well, I have been using this cream for about a year. I find it works pretty well with my straightening iron, leaving my hair looking shiny. It does not completely control the frizz though and the smell, although not unpleasant, could be better.

I got a large sample of this product from my Aunt, and although I'm not a huge fan of the Ojon products (don't really like the smell and don't find they are miracle products as advertised), I thought I'd try it out. Once again, a disappointment. I didn't find it conditioned my hair at all, and sometimes when I would apply it, it would feel strange in my hair, making my ends feel sort of rough and gritty. It does impart a lot of shine, however - in that respect reminds me a lot of Fekkai's Glossing Creme - but that's about it. Probably would be nice on someone with normal (re: not dry) hair to give an extra boost of shine, but otherwise I'd skip it.

I picked up a trial size tube of this (along with the Ojon Hydrating Styling Cream) at Sephora. I was looking for a styling cream to use on wet hair before air drying, something with a little hold and hopefully some moisturizing qualities. This product smells much better than the Hydrating Styling Cream, but it's still a weird smell that I couldn't choose (if I had the choice) for a hair product. It didn't work too well for me for air drying. My hair felt very gunky and coated... definitely not soft and touchable like I want. I used it before blowdrying and flat ironing. It worked alright, nothing special (I've found many product that work better for this purpose). I just couldn't deal with the way my hair felt when I used this, so I got rid of it after a few uses. In my opinion, this is overpriced and not effective enough to re-purchase. A better option? Paul Mitchell's The Cream (or the fantastic generic version as Sallys).

I keep going back to this stuff despite the $30 price tag. I like the scent. I have fine, wavy hair that needs some tlc in the winter months. I have to be careful about how much I use and I only put it on my ends (never the roots) when my hair is damp and then blowdry. It makes my hair silky and shiny. And because you need so little a tube lasts a long time. I have tried Frederik Fekkai's glossing cream but it is too greasy for me. This is a bit lighter so I like it better. The texture is very runny but beware: use too much and you will have the greasies.

This product is alright. I have super curly hair but whenever I work(bartend) or go out I straighten it. I find that this works on both my curly and straight hair. keep frizz away and makes my hair soft. But for the price I'll just stick with my Bed Head After Party.

I visited my local Sephora store in Toronto today and picked up a tube of this glossing cream and so far I'm very impressed. To date, I have never found any of Ojon's products helpful, but this one actually lives up to its claims! After applying a dab (or doolop, is more likely) of it through my shoulder length relaxed hair, I immediately felt and saw the difference in my hair! It was smoother, softer, and shinier. I like how the shine is very natural, and not super shiny like most products will do. I also like the scent and it does not clash with the lingering scent of HEMPZ hydrating conditioner. The only negative is the price! It's ridiculously expensive, but if it does the job, then, so be it. I'll just have to cut back on other nonessential items. Tomorrow I will apply this glossing cream to damp/wet hair after washing and conditioning with my HEMPZ hydrating duo set (which I love) and give an update. UPDATE: Sept. 28, 08. I returned this product to Sephora's yesterday. Although this product does provide softness, moisture and shine, it is too heavy for my hair, despite the fact that my hair is thick. Plus, it builds up too quickly on my hair. For these reasons, I dropped off one lippie. 2nd UPDATE: Dec. 21.08: For some strange reason I decided to try this product again approximately 2 weeks ago and I'm definitely not liking it. It may have produced softness/moisturization in the past (it must have been a fluke) but not this time around. I strongly believe it's the silicone in the product. My hair just does NOT respond well to ANY silicone products now. Besides, I read somewhere that using silicone based hair products is just a temporary fix and in the long run cause the hair to feel drier!

I have extremely thick, curly hair past my shoulders. I relax it twice a year and it tends to get very dry. when I went to Sephora to find my beloved Oscar Blandi silk cream was out of stock the sales assistant recommended this as an alternative. I was so disappointed with it and surprised by tha because the list of ingredients (oils, conditioners) is impressive. This did nothing for my hair other than give a little shine, but not much. It is surprisingly light too. Perhaps it will work for other hair types? Also, I wish it had a flip cap.

I am totally striking out with Ojon products. Nothing that I have tried has worked for my hair.
Although, I should know better than to try a silicone product as my hair dislikes them, I still tried it. Loved how my hair felt initially, but in normal cone fashion, by the end of the day my hair was really tangly.
If your hair agrees with cones, this is likely a wonderful product - the smell is really divine. Wasn't for me.

The first time I tried this cream, I hated it! My hair is very dry and frizzy so when I read to use a dime sized amount, I laughed because my hair needs a lot of leave in cream to tame it..anyhow I used a lot of cream on my dry hair and my hair looked and felt greasy so I went back to using my regular leave in. Anyway, I decided to try it out again and this time I used a dime sized amount on wet hair and I Iet it air dry. My hair was sooo soft and bouncy and actually had some volume. I was surprised. I also used a little dab of this cream before and after I flat ironed my hair and it came out really nice, my hair was soft and still had some bounce to it. And the smell is very nice too. Will repurchase if I ever finish, it seems like this tube will last a long time since I now know that a little goes a long way.

Works well to get rid of static caused by indoor heating. Does not leave build up and most of all nice light smell. Purchased through TSC package, otherwise too expensive to purchase alone.

This product lets me air dry my usually unruly & flat-iron-dependent hair! Unbelievable!
For years, Alterna Hemp Seed Straightening Balm was my HG product for taming my naturally wavy & frizzy "islander" hair. But I've been coloring my hair a lot lately, and since I also flat iron my hair almost everyday, I needed something for repairing damage. However, I hate putting too much product in my hair, so I had to search for something JUST as amazing as my HG, but with a few extra "abilities."
I told the SA at my local beauty store that I was happy with my current leave-in's results: softer, more manageable, & less frizzy hair. It protected from flat iron damage, & smelled great. I needed something that could do all that, plus repair chemical damage & possibly provide more shine.
I half expected her to say "That's a lot to ask, honey..." But she recommended this product, & it's spot on! It does EVERYTHING my former HG product does, but instead of just smoothing frizz away, it actually gets rid of it by nourishing & repairing damage. I've only been using it for a week, so I've yet to see long-term results...but I can already tell it's a step up.
How can I tell? Well, for one thing, I can let it air dry with perfect results! Before getting this product, I couldn't survive without my flat iron. Even if I wanted to wear my natural waves, I'd still have to use it to smooth & sculpt some nicer waves out of the funky sections. Even when slathered with my former HG product, my air dried hair had to be heat-styled to look polished.
With Ojon's leave-in, I can air dry & there'll be NO frizz, all my waves are nicely shaped, it doesn't feel sticky or product-heavy at all, & it's SO shiny! It looks polished & styled without doing a thing. Oh, & of course the smell is a plus too :)
I never thought I'd say this, but I found a new HG leave-in. The only reason why it gets a 4 is because it costs $30. Oh well, can't have it all...n'est-ce pas?

This is a great product. I have long straight/slightly wavy hair that I blow dry without a brush. After washing and conditioning my hair, I use the Ojon Hydrating Styling Cream, comb it through, then use a pea-sized amount of the Leave-in Glossing Cream for extra shine., then brush through. The two work brilliantly together. I get a natural look and soft, shiny hair that smells wonderful. I highly recommend both products.

I love the smell of this stuff, and I love that it doesn't weigh my hair down. But for $30, this doesn't do anything that impressive. It's great at taming frizz without making my hair look greasy, but it doesn't add a lot of shine or managability. Also, I hate the screw-on cap. The search continues.

I love this product! I have long thick wavy hair with bleach highlights so my hair is dry and somewhat frizzy, this is awesome! I have put it in when my hair is dry, I use more then the dime size because of how much hair I have, maybe a half dollar amount, I love the way my hair glistens and is so soft!!!!
