I have this in brown, and I love it. The staying power is absolutely amazing, you practically have to peel it off when you wash it off later. What I don't like is how shiny it looks on my eyelids. I think there is shimmer in it. Otherwise, love the formula, love the felt-tip applicator, love the eyeliner. Need to find it in black!

I have this product in "Pure Color: Indigo". A beautiful colour and appearance of the product. However, I wish they would have made the applicator tip shorter and not so flexible, and with a point. Also, when you have used a lot of it, you have to keep rotating the handle (which can be frustrating in a rush) to get any more of the eyeliner on the tip if you need more. Would not recommend to a beginner, as I learned the hard-way (due to the applicator tip), but if you're more experienced and you have the time, then I would recommend this product.

The Good:
- Attractive packaging
- Pretty color

The Bad:
- I did NOT like the brush at all. It was too flimsy for me. I prefer Lancome's Artliner because I can draw a more precise and bold line.
- Requires a steadier hand than Bobbi Brown Gel Liner and Lancome's Artliner.
- The brush handle was a little too thick for me.

I've tried a million different liquid liners, and this one rates at the top of my list. I was a bit hesitant of the brush but am thrilled....easy to control, I can achieve a very thin line and gradually thicken...beautiful! Stays in place incredibly well...gorgeous color...I purchased in Brown and it has a hint of shimmer that is fabulous.

I have been using liquid eyeliners forever, so I've tried lots of them. This is one of the worst. I got one, and had to return it because the brush tip was frayed and was spread apart. I exchanged it at Nordstrom, but thought it prudent to check the brush in front of the sales rep. That second one was frayed too, and another one that she handed to me was also defective. Estee Lauder has no quality control. The fourth eyeliner's brush tip looked okay, so I brought it home. After using it for a few days, I noticed that the liquid is a bit CLUMPY, and THE QUALITY OF THE BRUSH TIP IS HORRIBLE. Compared to a lot of the other eye liners, it requires a lot more effort to apply a clean even line, and believe me, I am an expert in applying liquid eyeliners, I've been doing it since I was a teenager (now I am in my thirties), and I could do a decent job even in a moving car. I threw away the receipt and the box, so I will use it up, but will never ever buy it again.

I love this eyeliner. It's a little expensive but worth it. It goes on smooth and is a very dark black.

The great thing about this eyeliner is the brush. It has the right amount of stiffness to create the perfect line. Retro eyeline is my waterloo, but this brush makes it a piece of cake. Great staying power. You can even smudge it for great smokey-eye looks.

Another great EL find. Black liquid liner is very easy to use for us shakey hand makeup appliers such as myself. Rich color and lasts a long time. Dries to a great finish. Recommend!

I have been using liquid eyeliner since I was in my 20s. I am now
in my 50s. Of all the eyeliners I have tried, this by far the best. I use the dark brown and even though my hands are not a "steady as a rock" at 5:00 in the morning, I still draw a perfect line. The eye liner allows me to draw a very thin line or a slightly thickened line depending on my "look" for the day. It lasts all day and removes easily at night with remover. This is a keeper for me!

This is hands-down the best liquid liner I've tried. The best part is the applicator brush, which is very fine and allows for a tiny tapered line, or you can build to a fatter, more dramatic line. The formula is smudge-proof and lasts all day (and well into the next if I'm naughty and don't use eye make-up remover...) I have it in the very dark brown, which is a versatile shade that basically looks like a less harsh version of black. It's also perfect for doing a thick line before applying false eyelashes, to disguise the line of adhesion. It's just a great product, and I'm not even normally an Estee Lauder fan.

this liquid eyeliner didn't run, smudge, smear or leave nasty streaks on me!!! lasts all day... the color is very intense... and the applicator is a very defined brush which makes for easy application... this is the best outta every other brand of liquid eyeliner so far!!! :P
