I bought this unsniffed at Marshall's on a whim, thinking the "pheremones" this supposedly contains might be fun to test on my fiance' if nothing else. Plus at something like 6.99 a bottle with Marshalls excellent return policy if either one of us despised it, I didn't have a lot to lose. Who knew I'd end up actually liking the stuff? Didn't know it has been around so long, but apparently either they still make it, or this batch is still as good as the day it was sealed up in the box.
I get a sweet-spicy honey orange scent; daybreaking's notes in the first review are dead-on. Further, this reminds me of those orange-and-clove spice pouporri pomanders I made with my grandmother as a child (I was sitting here trying to describe it and it dawned hit me why it was so familiar). It's sweet and comforting, but not cloying, probably because it fades so fast. Being an EDT not EDP, that happens.
For the record, I can't say it made the man of my house or myself any more inclined to uh, act differently than we normally would (except he did not immediately make a face and request I place it in the round file like most fragrances I bring home, which is a good start!), so take the vague claim that this "enhances pleasure" as you will. Pheremones or not, worth a try if you like this type of scent (a light 'floriential' I suppose) and you run across it somewhere on the cheap like I did. Time will tell if anything changes but if I suddenly find myself in more compromising positions or start getting different comments on my fragrance while wearing this, I'll update this review :)

I got this a few years ago on a whim at a discount retailer. I was wearing it for a while but I had put it away and recently pulled it back out. It's spicy and warm. I put it on the other day and I was shocked. It's probably the only fragrance my husband has really ever commented on without my prompting and inquiring about. Later my son told me i smelled really good too. It's a bit strong and I will likely use a small spritz under my clothes or for a night out.

A unique fragrance. I can't smell the water lily, but get more of a woodsy, cinnamony, gingery, sandalwood scent on me. It's earthy without being dank. The staying power is only okay. But if there's anything to the pheromones theory, Realm proves it. I reach for this one when I want to uplift my mood and I always get a lot of male attention when I'm out wearing this, although I don't compliments on how good I smell like I do with some other colognes (Sensual Amber BBW, Hilary Duff With Love, Vera Wang Princess, Opium, Hypnotic Poison). I would give it 5 lippies if it had just a little better staying power though.

I love this scent. I'm not sure why it has not been very popular. Maybe it is too sweet? It does remind me a bit of candy...but anyway, it is a strong scent, but its dry down is niiice and it lasts and lasts. I swapped for this but would have bought it had I seen it in a store. I love it. Sweet and vanilla-ey, and mandarin-ey and delicious smelling.

I love Realm, it is a truly unique scent. I stole some from my mom out of her extensive perfume collection when I was looking for something to wear out. This one just completely stood out and smelled so warm and so....interesting that I have been hooked ever since. If you're something of a connaisseur of "unique" scents this is a must try. If you like your scents to be very predictable florals, foodies, or unisex citruses, then you won't like Realm much. ;) This is best described as an exotic perfumy warm oriental sort of scent, but it has a wonderful subtle dry-down which comes out quickly that lingers for hours and is soft and delicious smelling. Very sexy!

I used to love this scent, but stopped using it some time ago. I just tried Victoria's Secret Supermodel perfume, & it is an exact dup of Realm on me!

My mom bought this fragrance for me about 10 years ago. I was going through boxes not too long ago after a move and came across this fragrance again. I remember that I didn't like it at first, but then I began to REALLY like it. My bottle is old and doesn't smell quite the same as it did 10 years ago, but I would buy it if I came across it on ebay. It is a sexy, unique fragrance. I have never smelled anything quite like it.

Top notes: Mandarin, water lily, peony
Middle notes: Pheromone, rose, honey
Base notes: Amber, Vanilla, Cedar
Realm's gimmick is that it claims to contain human pheromones, which not only supposedly will attract the opposite gender, but will make you feel more confident, lift your mood, etc. etc.
I picked this up for three reasons: this is listed as having water lily as a base note; the reviews for this have been outstanding as at the least a pleasant scent; finally, the 3.4oz EDT was on sale for $11.
It starts out strongly with tangerine, with the honey note coming through initially more so than any floral ones. It dries down to just a faint citrus smell, down to the point that I can no longer smell it after a half hour. I did get a bit of headache with this, but I suspect it might be from a perfume I washed off a bit prior to trying this one.
The bottle is lovely asymmetrically-shaped red glass, with a poorly-fitting gold-foil-plated plastic cap. (Subtracting 2 lippies from package just for the cap).
For me, this is nothing special - I suspect that I'll find stuff to layer it with - Maybe with Yves Rocher Peach for a Fuzzy Navel - But I won't be repurchasing this.
