I just rediscovered this product this summer, and I can't live without it! I've been wearing dresses for the past week or so, and every single day I put this on all over my arms, legs, and decolletage, with amazing results!
It comes out very thick, and does have a very strong scent. I find the best way to use it is to really spread it out thin and blend, so that you're not streaky or too orange in any spots. (it's not orange at all really, but if the lotion gets concentrated in a spot on your skin it looks REALLY bronze and could be unnatural looking).
It IS incredibly sparkly, but in the darkening of your skin from the bronzers it works out to a really nice overall effect.
I find that it lasts FOREVER. If I haven't showered a day later I have a nice shimmery look-not even just random sparkles, but a good glow, even if the bronze part is somewhat gone. If you wait the 10 minutes it suggests then you should have no problem with it transferring to your clothes or anything.
Basically, I love it! The smell is beachy, the affect is amazing, and a guy I'm dating told me that "my legs look like pure sex"....and that's not a typical compliment in my book. I totally give this product all the credit! No summer dress should be without this!

I love this product. I am very pale and use self tanners religiously in the warm months but sometimes I cannot get a good tan on my legs so I use this lotion and it evens everything out and deepens the bronze color without making me look orange. I like the fact that it washes off too so it is not something you are stuck with if it looks bad or you make a mistake. At the end of last summer B&BW was running a special so I bought several tubes for next to nothing (and it looks as though it won't be around this summer so I am glad I did).

I'm really pale and I thought this stuff would be great for giving a nice sheen and maybe coveringup any self-tanner mistakes. As the other review mentions, the scent is pretty heavy, but if you've used True Blue Spa stuff before you'll know most of the products are like that. The scent is musky-coconut, I guess to go with the lines tropical beachy theme. I love the slight color this stuff gives. It literally makes me glow and gives a slight sunkissed look to my skin. Now, I am pale, so what I consider sun-kissed or bronze is what most people know as normal pigmentation. Either way, I've tried other bronzers and they either make me break out or they don't blend well and I look like a Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory worker with an orange tint. Bad. This stuff is cheaper than the others I've tried (Stila, Nars), smells good (to me anyway) and I adore the effect on my skin. One side note: It does not last really anymore than a day, despite what thee package says and it takes about 15 min. to dry, not 5-10. Whatever, I'm buying more. This is the first stuff I gladly put on my legs and my face.

I tested this product on my hand in the store today. It provides minimal bronzing but lots of shimmer. I'd be willing to purchase it to try on my legs, but it has an overwhelming musky fragrance (like the perfumes my mother wore in the 80s) that has been bothering my nose and my head all evening. I can't imagine how strong the fragrance would be if I had slathered the stuff all over my legs. If you are sensitive to fragrances, stay far away from this bronzer.
