I have redness on my face and always try to use a calming product. I thought this would be really great, and it is okay I suppose, but it feels heavy all day on me. It also does not moisturize very well, and when it dries in spots you can see the obvious green, especially around my nose where it gets the driest. I won't purchase this again.

I have moderate Rosacea, meaning flare ups and red bumps showing up regularly along with pink to red cheeks regularly. So I've tried dozens and dozens of redness relief products. Cut to the chase- this one is my favorite. I quit using it quite awhile back (don't remember why), and started recently using it again. It is the only thing I use in the daytime under my makeup and it makes my skin super soft, primed for foundation, and way less red than when I started. Lets say my face looks like a cherry after I wash it, then after using this, goes down to a blush color. Loves it~
Oh but a tip- don't use too much cuz it will give you a green tinge. And when applying. Rub rub rub, and then pat. That way works best~
ENJOY

Pros:
-It was easy to use
-I liked the packaging
Cons:
-Sadly, for me, this made me break out HORRIBLY.
-Two uses and I gave up
-On a scale of 1-10 on how it works before the breakout, I'd give it a 6.

This product does relieve skin redness. My chin, sides of my nose, and eyelids are usually red and this product visibly diminishes the color. That said, I do not use this as my primary moisturizer and I do not think it is suitable as one (not enough hydration). I use my usual AM moisturizer and follow it up with this product. Some people have complained that they don't like how makeup applies over this lotion- I cannot comment on that because I don't wear face makeup but that said, I can say that the product fully sinks in (don't let the green freak you out) and is not at all detectable if you choose to go sans foundation.

So, I bought this a while ago and tried it and did not like it. One of the reasons is because I don't like the way my makeup goes on after I apply this lotion. Second reason is because I have really red skin on my cheeks and it did not seem to help much. I am wondering if I should give it another shot?
Maybe I will. It did cost a bit and I would hate to just throw it out.

I was skeptical about this product but it proved me wrong. I saw a visible difference in my skin in about 2 weeks and i've been using it since. Also, during the summer, when heavy moisturizers can cause breakouts and make my skin oily, I use this because it is extremely light. I use much less foundation now because my facial redness decreased. If you have facial redness and you do not want to buy expensive products, this is a great solution.

I recently discovered a big problem as to why I couldn't find a right foundation was redness in my skin so I started using a green primer. I received a sample of this lotion in a swap and thought it would give the green primer more of a boost and something to work with since sometimes the green primer is hard to blend in. It worked beautifully. I used my regular moisturizer then this and then my primer then foundation and it's perfect. My primer is easy to blend and my skintone is even and it makes my face feel hydrated and not oily. A bit pricey at $15 but doesn't take much to do your whole face. I'm hoping that this product improved my skin over a month. I will update on that.

It contains butter as well, but at a relative low amount. I like to use it in a dry and cold winter day as the facial lotion. It is pretty decent.

First of all I really, really wanted to like this product. It's supposed to be soothing and help keep the redness down, it has SPF built right in and I am in love with their Calming Cream body lotion. But I didn't. Was it non-irritating? Big thumbs up, yes. Was it soothing? Yes, it did feel soothing upon application. And I felt good using a sunscreen daily. The bottle is nice and sturdy with a germ-busting pump applicator. But that was about it for me. I expected to see a reduction in redness in those little capillaries around my nose but didn't. I certainly didn't expect my face to turn into an oil slick by lunch time. And I think this may have been causing some break outs. I would keep this for a nice soothing night cream but for the SPF. It is going to be returned. Boo.

I use it during the day and the night version at night. It has a different color, sort of yellow. It glides over skin easily and sinks in fast. If you have dry/combo skin it soaks this up instantly. If you have oily skin, I would just place it on redness only. It works, and does an incredible job.

first of all, just from the stand point of moisturizers, i have very oily skin and this is the first one that doesnt make my skin into an oil slick by noon and hasnt caused any breakouts. it feels nice and once it sinks in my skin feels so soft for hours.
as for the redness, over the past year my cheeks and chin have become very ruddy, to the point where i was using more, thicker foundation to cover it. this moisturizer has completely gotten rid of the redness on my chin and my cheeks are alot less red too, and getting better. i was sceptical that a lotion could help my redness but i am glad i was wrong. its a little pricey at $15 for such a little bottle, but its worth it for the results.
UPDATE: after about a month of use, my cheeks and chin have lost that ruddiness completely thanks to this. amazing, im hooked!

So I've been using this for about two months with the night cream and it has made my redness pretty much gone away! The bottle seems like it doens't hold that much and that it won't really last, but I've been using 2 pumps for 2 months and I haven't ran out yet. Oh the only downside to this, is the smell. It just smells like sun screen and I'm not a huge fan, but it does disapear pretty quickly. It goes under my MUA very well and I haven't had a problem with my skin getting to oily either. I really do love this product.

This was okay, but I can't use it because it leaves my skin soooo shiny. My skin is slightly oily anyway (esp forehead) and this makes it shiny everywhere else too. It's not a bad moisturizer otherwise. I'll use up the rest of the bottle on days I don't have to leave the house.

The consistency is quite nice and it does feel good on your skin upon application. I think I also liked the way it smelled. I used it when I was having very dry skin (I have combo skin) in the colder months, and it was soothing for me. Even my boyfriend liked to use it. Unfortunately, for such a fancy little bottle, it doesn't hold much moisturizer, so cost-wise (I'm pretty cheap) not the best since it runs out too fast.

I switched to this Eucerin product only because their parent company (Beiersdorf) does not test their products on animals. I used to use Aveeno Calming Moisturizer and really liked it. But J&J is NOT cruelty free. I wont complain about this Eucerin product, but I cant rave about it either. It is lightweight and I dont feel like I get enough moisture. Sunscreen level is great and doesnt go on white. But it does smell a bit medicinal. The pump bottle is convenient. Cant comment on long term redness reduction (I dont believe in that anyway), but this product hasnt aggravated the situation. Overall, I say "Eh". Im waiting til the bottle runs out to get something I prefer more. Because it is so thin (not creamy) I think I will run out pretty soon. Fine by me.

I have very dry cheeks, and have been using a heavy moisturizer during the winter. It held up for the whole day, but it left my face shiny and made me break out. So, now that it's spring, I went looking for a new moisturizer that 1) would last all day, 2) not leave me shiny, and 3) would not make me break out. I bought Eucerin lotion because it was for sensitive skin, thinking it wouldn't be heavy so it wouldn't give me pimples. It did smooth out my dry cheeks without shine, but it only lasted a few hours. I had to reapply twice during the day to keep my cheeks from feeling tight. I only used it for about a week, so I don't know if it would've made me break out, but it did not work for me.

I had such high hopes for this product. I have dry skin which patches of rosacea on my cheeks. After 2 days, my cheeks were burning and flaking. Oh well, loved the packaging with the pump dispenser but this is going back to the store. From the other reviews, it looks like this may work best on combination or oilier skin folks. Kind of surprising given it has the name moisture in the title.

I started using this product when they eucerin discontinued my HG renewal lotion (oh boy, how I loved that lotion)... I don't like it quite as much, but it is a fine substitute as it gets rid of my flaky dry skin (caused by using a 2.5% bp gel) and has spf in it. it doesn't have a strong fragrance (though if you sniff closely it smells a little like margarine, kind of weird!), and it smooths over my skin easily.
it burns the heck out of my eye area though, so I use a separate lotion (as I should, I guess) for that area. for the amount in the bottle it is over priced, but as it's the best lotion I've found for my sensitive, acne-prone skin, I'll keep on buying it as long as they keep on making it!
I don't have a real problem with red skin, so I can't totally comment on that - however some of the skin around my nose area tends to be red, that is better with the use of this lotion.

I have very fair, sensitive skin. I've used this for about 3 months now. This is only one of two spf moisturizers I've tried that hasn't broken me out after using it long term. The other one is Rachel Perry's Environmental Skin Protector spf 18. I like this one better though because it is a better base for my makeup and is less greasy. It's also decreased my mild facial redness just like it claimed it would!

I like this moisturizer. I have redness on my cheeks and nose, so i look for moisturizers that treat facial redness. At first I was worried i was going to break out because of the shea butter ingredient in the moisturizer. However, I've been using it for a couple of months and i haven't broken out. This moisturizer makes my skin feel soft and smooth. This moisturizer hasn't vanished my facial redness (of course, i dont expect it to completely cure my rosacea), but i have noticed my face hasn't been as red as it used to be.
