I use this for my body not for my face but it hasn't caused my skin to break out or irritate it since I have sensitive skin. Feels light but moisturizing and not too thick or greasy like cvs's knock off of the mineral SS for neutrogena. The smell isn't strong but it does smell like your typical sunscreen. My skin feels soft after I apply this and I always make sure to carry this around in my purse. Got this at target in a .2 pack and prob will repurchase once I finish

I've used a few sunblocks before, but this is by far the best one I've used. I've tried & experimented with neutrogena sunblocks & I have to say those were a bit cakey for me. However, the aveeno sunblock's texture wasn't as cakey & blended better.

I can't say much about how well it blocks the sun though.

I keep this in my bag to use on DD. It seems to work well & its very thick so you end up using a lot (like you're suppose to). I occassionally use this on my face & haven't had any problems.
Only downside is that it has a yucky smell to it that lasts until you shower it off.

I think I'm in love. This has quickly become my HG. The bottle I have has a purple cap though, not yellow. IDK if they re-formulated or just changed the packaging. I've been using this for close to 3 weeks and haven't had a reaction or break out as a result yet. Usually it takes about a week for my skin to reject something and I'm fairly sensitive. I was using Neutrogena Dry Touch before this, and after re-applying throughout the day, that would feel like a thick layer of gunk. This Aveeno seems to melt into my skin and disappear. Feels a little greasy at first, but after it's mostly rubbed in, I pat it in with my fingertips and it feels great. I'll update if I get a reaction, but so far, so great!

I had purchased this product due to the good reviews it had received. After the first couple of days all was well until a mild redness appeared on my cheeks and neck. By the end of the third day I had a terrible rash and the burning sensation was painful! I had to pop a couple of Aspirin and coat a thick layer of Nivea creme to calm down my face but even then the damage was evident. Will absolutely not purchase again.

It's true that this tends to be a bit streaky and crumbly. But it is just a bit and it's nothing that can't be wiped away or blended in once it's absorbed. I always wait 30 minutes to apply my makeup anyway, and I wipe my hairline and any streaks then.

Otherwise, I love this sunscreen for the simple fact that it didn't clog me or break me out. So many sunscreens clog me but I stayed clear with this, so it's my HG for now. I also like the light smell and how it leaves a very slight whitish film that diffuses the redness in my skin in a really subtle way (I'm pale ppd). I'm not sure of the ppd, but I do know my hyperpigmentation doesn't get worse and seems to fade with this.

At first, I really liked this sunblock - even though it was hard to blend. The scent was tolerable (in fact, I really liked how it smelled!), it made my skin feel silky, and it wasn't greasy at all. But after using it for about a week, I started getting bumps all over my upper arms and chest. How do I know it's from this sunblock? Because I only got the bumps on the areas I applied the sunblock. I really wanted this sunblock to work! I thought since it was sunblock for babies it would be really gentle on my skin...guess I was wrong. Oh and it's been about a month since I stopped using it and the bumps on my chest went away, but the bumps on my arms won't go away... =(

This is a great sunblock. I went snorkeling under the merciless Florida sun with this stuff on, and it worked beautifully (up until I started running out and had to apply it pretty thin). I got a wicked burn on my back where I didn't think to apply the block (I didn't consider that the top of my suit would come up), so I have a very good idea of how protective this stuff is.
I do wish, though, that they would include more UVA block in this product.
I won't wear this product on my face, as it leaves an obvious white residue, but since it works so well everywhere else, that isn't enough to dock it any points.
Highly recommend, will buy again!

At first, I really liked this sunscreen. I thought it would be my HG. My face felt like I applied primer to it when I first put this sunscreen on. But the next day, I got a rash wherever the sunscreen was applied. I have used chemical sunscreens before and have never had this problem. I suggest to anyone with sensitive skin to first do a patch test, but the sunscreen will move with sweat anyways.

Leaves a whitish cast for about a minute but blends in right after. moisturizing and does its job. my son has super sensitive skin and cannot tolerate the usual drugstore brands (he gets a rash from head to toe), so usually he uses california baby. i did not have any on hand so i stopped by and bought this at rite-aid. so far so good. no rash and no sunburns (he skied for 4 hours). will repurchase as good for backup and easy to find at any drugstore.

I tried this in both the adult and baby versions, and I'm not completely convinced that they aren't the same formula inside the packages. I found the baby version to be only slightly less irritating than the adult one, and just as difficult to blend. It requires a ton of blending, and even then sometimes the little white "cumbs" would get into my hair. Yuck!

Wow... so Im not a freak for wearing this. Im on my second bottle. My daughter and I share this. It doesnt clog my poors at all. Its a super high spf which I obsess about. It doesnt give me a wierd ghost look like the aveeno faces spf 70 does. I wear this every day, face neck and arms. It doesnt realy sting my eyes unless it gets right in there and even then its minimal. I dont go out during the day unless ive had this on for at least thirty minutes so it can soak in. Another nice thing about this product is if I wear a light translucent powder over it and a pretty blush(cargo blue ray) my skin looks realy pretty like im wearing foundation. I will always buy this. My HG for sure. Seriously, I wear it in the winter and fall too like your suposed to. Im a freckly chick and since I became religious about this stuff, no new freckles. Im almost thirty and I look much closer to twenty one... not to brag or anything.

Finally a sunscreen I can tolerate! I HATE the feel and smell of sunscreen, to the point that I don't like summer. But I'm super pale and freckly so daily sunscreen is a must for me. I'm amazed to find a high SPF sunscreen with almost no scent and that doesn't feel like a gross coating on my skin. Perhaps this is because it is made for babies. Hey, if it protects super-sensitive baby skin, it should protect me. I've just been using it on my body but like it so much that I'm tempted to use it on my face too. Great find and the fact that it is a drugstore product makes it kind on my wallet as well.

What I really like about this is that it doesn't have the sunblock smell or that it isn't too strong and goes away eventually. It's kinda greasy but sets in quickly. I wouldn't use this on my face, but it's great for everywhere else.

I've gone through 2 tubes of this sunscreen to date. I like it because it doesn't break me out (a problem I seem to have with a LOT of sunscreens). Like most high SPF sunscreens (45+), it leaves a white sheen on the skin - particularly right after you apply it. It seems to take about 5 minutes or so to fully absorb into my skin. Not a HG, but functional, easy to find and inexpensive.

I love this sunscreen,Its soo good & lasts for yonks! I was on vacation In Egypt last summer with 48 celsius heat! I got a really nice golden tan while using this stuff, but never burned once! Trust me it says on the tube that it's waterproof, sweatproof, and lasts up to 80 minutes in water, Its all true! I spent alot of the vacation in and out of the pool, alot of the time I didnt bother reapplying sunscreen & I didnt burn! And trust me, in 48 degree heat I did plenty of sweating! lol! I definately would purchase this again, its a fantastic sunscreen.

Excellent sunblock. I use it daily on my face and neck. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin and the creamy texture is nice. A little goes a long way!

I use this sunblock for my face during the winter and it has worked well for me. It does feel a bit greasy and has that sunblock smell when you first put it on, but it dries up quickly and your skin feels and smells like it has nothing at all. I like the consistency of it too... not too thick or liquidy.
