This lipstick says that it's meant for darker skin tones but it looks great against my ivory skin.It is a copper color with micro copper and silver glitters. It really isn't as dark as it appears in the tube there is no need to be afraid. It goes on nice and smoothly.
The packing as a lock mechanism making it less likely that it happens by accident.
My only issue with these lipstick is the perfume smell that doesn't go away so if you're sensitive to smells this isn't for you.

amber is a light copper with copper shimmers.it appears almost like a dark nude in the tube, but on the lips,it's a light copper with a little beige undertone.it shines, last long with a lip liner.verry nice color to have when you do a bronzy-glowy look! Love it!

I got it 75% off at CVS so it costs less than $3! The color is not as dark as it appears but it suits my lip color perfectly. Very natural color with little shimmer. It's also very moisturising and smells good. I have it on everyday. Love it.

I was checking out all the L'oreal Made for me Naturals in the chemist this morning with intentions of buying one for medium skintones or brunettes but ended up choosing Amber (#238) despite it supposedly being for "darker skintones". The colour looks like a warm peachy caramel with gold flecks in the tube but comes out a little rose/gold on my lips. It suits me perfectly and I'm olive toned MAC NC30. I think this shade also falls under the Colour Riche Star Secrets Nudes but here in Australia they are Color Riche Made for Naturals.

I took off one lippy because as is typical of L'Oreal lipsticks the scent is really offputting being perfumey and waxy smelling, they need to do something about this!! I also hate the massive ugly cheap square tube.

This was $17.99 here in Australia which I consider pricey for drugstore makeup, it should be no more than $10.

This is a lovely shade from the new L'Oreal LE Nudes. Although this shade is recommended for darker skinned ladies, it looks pretty awesome on me (fair skin with gold undertones, green eyes, blonde hair). I am always looking for muted, sexy shades and this fits. I agree with previous reviewer, it is a bit rosey, and rose generally does not work very well for me. But this does. It is warm and glowy. I have um....maturing skin and I er....don't look especially radiant unless I apply foundation/bronzer and blush. However when I brought this home tonight I applied it fresh out of the shower, barefaced. I seemed to be glowing without makeup. To confirm, I asked my husband who knows of, and is quite amused by my makeup addiction, if he liked my new lipstick. Generally when a newly purchased item is modeled for him, he responds with "You always look good baby". (Which really is not a bad answer, he is no dummy) But his response to this was "Wow, that lipstick looks exceptionally nice." A true rave, trust me. I am glad I bought this and probably will buy a back-up since these are LE. It was ~ 5.99 at Target.

Amber (#868) is one of the 10 lipsticks from the newly released, limited edition Star Secrets Nudes. The store display categorizes Amber as a "Nude Gold" and a color that is supposedly a good match for women with deep skin (Kerry Washington is wearing Amber). I have dark-hair and light to medium skin (neutral to warm undertones, MAC NC 25 to 30, Cover Girl in Buff Beige, BE 1.2 to 2.0). The color is a pretty, light coppery rose on my rosey/mauvey pigmented lips. It also has a pearlescent or somewhat frosty sheen with micronized golden sparkles. The pearlescence isn't over the top but it can magnify flaky lips (hence, exfoliating your lips is important before you use this lipstick). As between Bronze (the other Nude Gold lipstick) and Amber, I prefer Amber, which has a rose/pink tone (Bronze has a peach/caramel tone). The packaging is the usual colour riche packaging except the tube is in shiny/reflective gold (the permanent colour riche lipsticks come in gold tubes but the gold is "frosted"). The scent and taste are the usual colour riche scent/taste (floral) which bothers some people but not me. The scent/taste does disappear immediately
