I hate to be the downer here but this sunscreen didn't protect me from burns! i've darkened at least a good 4 or 5 shades since summer began and I started using this sunscreen on my body. I like the consistency: as others have said, it first applies like oil, then dries down to a matte finish. However, what's the point of putting it on if it doesn't protect my skin well enough? On to the next brand/product!

This product is now packaged in an orange bottle and isn't labeled "Ultra-Light"- but it still really is! I use this on my face every day, and all over by the pool. When you spray it on your hands, it looks like a sheer dry oil, but counter intuitively, it isn't oily once you spread it on. AT ALL. It has not made me a bit shinier, and does not aggravate my hormonal breakouts. Cruelty-free, hooray! It also contains antioxidants, and I love a double-duty face product. I haven't had a day at the beach since I started using it, so I can't say how tough it really is, but for regular use it's doing much better than any other sunscreen I've used.

EDIT: Since reading more about sunscreen ingredients on the Skin Care board here, I've found that this one is NOT photo-stable. In other words, exposure to sunlight degrades the effectiveness of the avobenzone in it (despite the presence of octocrylene as a stabilizer), so whenever you're wearing this it is gradually losing its power to protect your skin with every minute you're in the sun. Boo! Also my skin doesn't like all the silicones (cyclopentasiloxane, etc) in this, and it stained the collar of my white shirt after several hours' wear. Downgraded from 5 to 2 lippies; up from 1 lippie because it's better than nothing, inexpensive, and has some antioxidant ingredients. Would not repurchase.

This product was okay, but I was expecting more because of all the great reviews. It was too sticky for my face and didn't work well under makeup. I ended up using it on my body, which was annoying because of the spray nozzle. You have to keep squirting it, unlike typical spray sunblocks and you have to rub it in. It's also too expensive for a body SPF for me since I can find a cheaper one at the drugstore.

Although I don't use this product very often (my skin gets better with physical sunscreens), I wanted to review this product because it is unbelievable! Great SPF protection in a truly lightweight formula that doesn't leave your skin shiny or sticky. I bought it thinking that it couldn't be true, but well, I guess sunscreen miracles do occur. My husband loves it and uses it diligently (and he hates anything creamy on his face). Because it is so lightweight you can layer it to get the full SPF without a heavy feeling on your face. I personally dislike the strong sunscreeny scent but I guess it's inevitable. Also I can't use it around my eyes because if gets near my eyes it stings so bad! But my husband hasn't experienced that stinging so I guess it's an individual reaction. Overall, I would recommend it to men and people who just won't use a lotion even if their lives depended on it (pun intended). Another great product from the best skin care line around.

Love this sunblock, it's very portable and feels great after it's on. My BF and his kids liked it too. I stocked up when I had a 15% off coupon and it was already 50% off so I got like 6 bottles for 30$. While I love this sunblock, paying full price does hurt the wallet a bit. I wish she sold bigger bottles for refills.

This is my go-to sunscreen for my face, especially under makeup. What I love about this is that it is so lightweight I don't even feel it on my face, and it works so well under makeup. It is so hard for me to find a sunscreen I like for my face; most make my face feel greasy or leave a heavy feeling on my skin. Even one by Neutrogena that I used before this (one in the Dry Touch line) was problematic under foundation as it sometimes caused my makeup to pill. I have never had that problem with this product. I absolutely love this stuff; it's my HG facial sunscreen.

Pros: Lightweight. Cheap. Might be enough protection on a cloudy day. Easy to remove. No scent.
Cons: Does not provide good sun protection. Every time I counted on it, I got some color while wearing the correct amount in allotted time. Caused me to break out on my face. Not even water resistant so if you break a sweat it's compromised. Oily application. Balky sprayer so impossible to spray back or even backs of legs with this applicator. Then you have to spray it in your hand and apply that way. Makes one wonder why it's in a spray at all if it only sprays in an upright position.

Great stuff! Like other reviewers say, this super-liquid oil-like sunscreen totally dissappears in your skin in no time. I also use it on my face, gives a nice glow there and I experience no breakouts or whatsoever. I am not totally sure about the protection against sunburn, because I've used it on very sunny summerdays ourdoors and had the feeling that some other spf 30-SS's had protected me slightly better. But for the normal sunny/cloudy outdoor-days, this is perfect. Would highly recommend it to everyone who despites regular SS.
EDIT: I still love the consistency of this, but figured out it makes me break out slightly on my face every time I use it for a few days in a row. I don't like that. So one off.

I didn't like this much. It doesn't feel too greasy but it caused pimples on my neck. I haven't ventured using this on my face, since I am acne-prone. I am only using this on my arms now.

The only chemical sunscreen I would ever use.
Light as a feather, won't clog your pores, not sticky in the least, truly unscented, not greasy, not too shiny, and won't bother your contact lenses. A wonderful product - even my boyfriend loved it. Powder goes over it nicely.
But I prefer non-chemical sunscreens in general, so I don't wear it. However my boyfriend intends to buy it for himself! The unisex packaging means he can carry it in his backpack and use it at will.

Absolute HG for me. I love it, my dh loves it and my kids love it. My son, who is allergic to so many things, can use this without any irritation whatsoever. This is one of the best products I have ever used in my entire life.

I love this stuff. I have never been able to find a sunscreen spray without alcohol. My skin is extremely sensitive and therefore I cannot use sunscreens with alcohol on my face. This sunscreen however is very light and absorbs really fast. I can apply make up over it without any problems and this is one of two suncreens that do not burn the skin around my eyes (the other one is Avene's sunscreen for very sensitive skin in SPF50). However, this one does not leave a white cast, while the Avene one leaves a major white cast one my skin (and my skin is already very fair). Would definitely buy again.

This is one of the few spray-on sunscreens that I know of that doesn't contain alcohol. It's great for when I want to quickly apply sunscreen to my legs or arms. When I tried to use it on my face I experienced the most horrific breakout of cystic acne that I've had in years. Based on prior reviews not everyone experiences breakouts, but if you are acne-prone, beware. I'd probably test it on a small blemish-prone area of my face before I'd apply it all over.

This is my HG for spray on sunscreen. Normally, I like to use Peter Thomas Roth spray on sunscreen - and I feel like this sinks into the skin better, and leaves a matte finish. I LUV THIS STUFF!

This is the only sunscreen I can use on my upper arms without getting those dreaded bumps. I apply this after Paula's BHA liquid and that is all. I don't use any other moisturizers unless I feel dry, but rarely do and when I do, I use facial moisturizer. But, back to the sunscreen. I like this on my face also. Sometimes it is so hot, I don't want to use a lotion form and this is perfect. I can also spray my upper back easily with this. I tend to use it only on my upper body and use a lotion form for my legs, feet, lower arms and hands. It works great as I haven't burned so far. Great product for easlily clogged pores, meaning it won't add more. Works great under makeup, too.

I am currently using this spray for my body and I love the way it sinks into my skin. You know it will never leave a white cast since it is clear and it makes skin appear moisturized and glowy. And like its name states it is light feeling. It is a bit greasy when you first spray it, but that feeling seems to go away. I love this stuff and I will definately repurchase this.

I love this stuff! It falls into the category of "how do they do that?", in that it's oily feeling when you spray it, but completely disappears into your skin. My morning routine is now a light coat of Aubrey Aloe Vera Gel, followed by two spritzes of this product into my hand, then applied to my face and neck. Wait a little, apply some eye cream (loving Booths' licorice one), then onto the "pretty" part. I put some of this stuff on the back of my hands before I go out. I haven't really used it for summer outdoor wear, but I'll give it a try.

I have finally found a sunscreen that I can use on my face! I am 30 years old, and this is the first time that I have been able to consistently use a facial ss without acne, clogged pores, rashes or greasiness. I'm one of those lucky ppl that have spent big $$ on soooo many different brands, and even the sunscreens that receive rave reviews by everyone else with acne prone, sensitive skin break me out. But this stuff is a miracle. It is a light oil, which initially freaked me out because it seems against everything I believe in to rub oil on acne prone skin, but this stuff is light and soothing, and soaks in beautifully. It contains antioxidants, which is an added bonus and does fabulous under makeup. I have used this for a few weeks every single day, and it is my new HG. Finally, I don't have to choose between acne and sun damage. Love Love Love! This is very inexpensive and a little goes a long way. I spray about 1 1/2 pumps into my hand and rub over my face and neck and that is plenty.
