I am a faithful customer of this eyeshadow after using MAC and having an allergic reaction (my eyes were red for two days). The FF eyeshadow is so highly pigmented and goes on like velvet. The palette is more convenient than purchasing in the small pots. The colors go nicely with a pale lip: maybe with FF Sheer Bronze or Sheer Gold.

I know everyone hates Fashion Fair because the packaging is just so dang cheesy and I guess it’s specifically aimed at women of color so the marketing campaign isn’t really expansive and aggressive. At any rate, I purchased this palette for all of $7, so it was quite a steal – I have no idea how much it retails. The eyeshadows are all quite nice. Some are a bit sheer, but some are quite pigmented. Urban Decay Primer Potion helps these eyeshadows stay pretty vibrant for several hours, but alas, some fading does occur with the sheerer, lighter colors. The glitter in these eyeshadows are very sparse, unlike Urban Decay, but do inevitably end up on your cheeks, but you can easily brush them off. Overall, I think this is an excellent deal for what I paid, especially for the vast variety of colors! I’ve determined that Fashion Fair isn’t really all that bad, but I haven’t been steered of my love of MAC, Stila, and Urban Decay of course.
