I used to stay in Singapore where it wasn't really THAT important to get a super hydrating lip gloss, but now that I'm in the states(and it's cold), I noticed that whenever I use some of my other lip products, I get really chapped lips. Also, the corners of my lips would hurt.
However, after applying this every night and brushing my lips(with my toothbrush) the next morning, I will be able to just 'rub' off the dead skin off my lips and it's instantly changed!
Since it's only sgd$5, I'm definitely going to repurchase this.

This stuff smells and tastes sumptuous. It's like an Andes Candies without the calories. I use it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It works better than average and the squeeze tube is both hygienic and practical.

I love anything that has either chocolate or mint in it, period. When I got this I felt that the scent was heavenly: buttery mint and chocolate. The texture is creamy but goes on clear and gives a glossy touch after application. I would recommend this if you like a lip balm with amazing smell.

Bought this cos I'm on a Palmers kick and I read the reviews on here for it and couldn't resist. Usually I'm wary of fake chocolate smells but this really smells like dark mint chocolate! It tastes of sugar (actually it's saccharine) and it can even give me the feeling of a chocolate hit in a pinch. What's not to like? Also it lasts quite long!

This lip butter feels soft and soothing on my lips and moisturises them well. It's not an intense moisturising treatment, but it's very good for day to day and stays on my lips for a long time.
The smell is lovely - smells like After Eight chocolate mints to me! Even though I don't usually like anything with a scent on my lips, this is quite nice and the smell doesn't linger.
I'd say you can use this as a clear gloss, as it gives a shiny glossy finish. Not good for under lipstick/ lip stains etc, but great on its own or on top of lipstick.
It's quite similar to a lip gloss in consistency, so careful not to put too much on, so as you don't get the drooling-from-the-side-of-your-mouth effect! I actually prefer to buff this in with my finger to prevent that, as I feel putting it on straight from the tube can get messy.

This lip balm is really fun and very easy to use! I like the fact it comes in a squeezy tube which is both hygenic and non-messy. I like the smell, a really nice pick me up. This doesn't give much gloss to my lips (especially compared to Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream) and is good for applying lipstick on top. And most importantly, it keeps my lips moist for most of the day! Though I don't mind replying it as it smells and feels very nice when I do. I usually go for the pricey lipbalms (La Mer, La Prairie, Dr.Brandt) but this one is actually quite nice, afforable and slightly addictive.

I have always had dry sensitive lips, and in some places my lips have started to fell a bit raw. This lip butter doesn't sting, or make my lips itch. I love how the formula penetrates the lips and doesn't just sit on top of them. The smell is not too strong, but very pleasant and sweet (reminds me of fall and Christmas time a bit). I love the glossy look it gives. It also doesn't slide off your lips at the slightest touch like some other chap sticks/lip balms do. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer:) p.s.- after one application and the butter sitting on my lips and has completely soaked in, all the 'rawness' is gone!

Delicious taste of cocoa! Moisturize your lip! Even the lip butter can help you do the work of scrubs after a night!

The only reason to buy this is for the unique chocolate mint scent, which is all right, but I'm not totally crazy about it. It only has a very slight taste and the scent isn't overwhelming either. There is no color. It is completely clear. It is rather thin and doesn't moisturize much. It certainly isn't any better than Vaseline. In fact, the first ingredient is Petrolatum, which is another name for Vaseline. I doubt there is much cocoa butter in it at all. Pretty underwhelmed and I think I'm going to toss this, but at least I only paid $3. I would recommend the Smith's Rosebud Salve in the tube ($6) for something similar but better with a nice scent and a very slight rose tint. The Rosebud Salve also has a petrolatum base, but it's a better product overall. This product is basically the same as plain Vaseline in a tube which you can usually find for about $1.

I hated this. It is like rubbing melted after eights on your lips. The liquid itself is thick and gloopy and cloyingly sweet. It has a strong chocolate mint scent. It does have a bit of shine to it - more noticeable than most lip balms.
I didn't find it very moisturizing and I didn't like the package it came in. It doesn't last long on the lips so you would need to keep reapplying.

This is an okay lip balm. It's quite glossy, and smells nice. The moisturising effect does not last long however. My Biotherm lip butter is more expensive but also much more effective.

This product is so good! Every single lip butter/lip balm with scent would crack my lips and burn them, i dont have this problem with this one. It is really moisturizing, even though it doesnt last long (1 hour or less), it doesnt bother me to keep aplying, cuz it smells relly yummy and feels really luxurious on the lips! Plus the price is a steal for such a really good lip butter! This is not sticky, but it gives you a subtle gloss, i think even my boyfriend likes it! The packaging is good in my opinion, i prefer this than sticks cuz i think it would last more. Everyone should try this out, and the whole Palmer's line in general :)

This is a good lip butter, it feels really nice. It's moisturizing and gives a nice subtle gloss if you prefer not to go crazy with lip products or if you put it on top of your lip color.
The flavor, like it says in the name, is dark chocolate and peppermint. It tastes like Thin Mints to me so needless to say this is one really tasty lip gloss, if not The Tastiest Lip Gloss of All Time. I lick my lips a lot when I wear this. I kind of want to eat it because it tastes so good. If your willpower is strong enough to resist eating it, I would suggest trying it out. If you are feeble-minded like me, don't get it, you'll want to eat it. But seriously, don't eat lip gloss, it's not good for you. Eat a real Thin Mint instead and support your local Girl Scouts.

Its winter time and my Lips are very very dry to the point that it flakes. So picked this one up today and put it on right away, the smell is heavenly and so easy to glide, not too sticky just enuf and it actually helpled remove the dry flakes and made my lips smooth the same day of application. Amazing.

I purchased this yesterday and I am in love with it!! I wanted to find a soothing lip balm to wear during the day when my lipstick wears off and didn't want anything too goopy or sticky or gross. this fit the bill perfectly. I originally purchased the blistex medicated lip balm and for some reason, it made my lips worse! it's supposed to sooth dry cracked lips, but it actually made my lips drier and it cracked right in the middle! gross! so since i have been using cocoa butter i figured it wouldn't hurt to use the lip balm. Glad i did! it works great, smells just like chocolate *without the migraine aftermath from the real thing* and soothes my lips w/o the stickiness of a waxy balm. this is my new best friend! i will have to stock up on it- since everything i buy that i like, somehow ends up discontinued...

I bought this mistakenly when I was in the US looking for the Palmers Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick. I found the mint & chocolate smell/flavour disconcerting at first but it's gradually grown on me. In my opinion, this is exactly the same as Vaseline Lip Therapy - its basically just petroleum jelly with chocolate & mint flavouring in the ingredient list.
The tube has a slant tip applicator which I like. I also dont find the need to constantly reapply it but it isn't very moisturizing. It basically sits on top of your lips but doesnt sink/soak into your lips.
Love the gloss it gives but I could get that with regular Vaseline. I chose Yes to repurchasing but it really is more of a maybe for me. I do like this lip product but at th end of the day, I can get pretty much the same results from Vaseline (which is cheaper too!) just without the flavour.

At first i wasnt sure if the peppermint is too strong. But you get use to it n with that faint chocolate - can i say yummy?
Best of all when it starts to wear off you still feel satiny smooth lips. and i do like the ease of application- its better than jug design of other butters. If you dont like your lip butter too shiny then this is it. when i finish this and my two other regulars that i swap as i please, i will repurchase again. its those products that deserve a spot in your purse. maybe its my local drug store- but its a tad pricey than regular drugstore lip balm/butter. And for that i took off 1 lippie
