My beauty guru friend recommended this to me as a totally moisturising body wash. I thought this was rubbish, as I'd never got moisture from anything other than a post-shower cream before, but I'm a sucker for a product that you can buy in the supermarket. Well, there's a reason she's my guru - this really is splendid. I use it with a body puff to exfoliate at the same time and my skin feels pampered and happy afterwards. Hugely reluctant to use anything else.

A really nice body wash with a light fresh scent, leaves no residue and my skin feels soft after using it.

I was so distraught to discover that this has been discontinued. I'm very low maintenance and just use whatever I have lying around. The deep burgundy bottle is a pretty color and the body wash is creamy and smells fresh and clean. It's the most moisturizing body wash I've found! I have dry skin, some eczema on my upper arms. This didn't irritate it at all. I ended up adding baking soda to the body wash and it made my skin extra smooth. Baking soda pretty much exfoliates as well as eats away dead skin on the surface allowing moisturizer to go where it needs to. I now need to find a good substitute for this stuff!

I think this is one of the best - if not the best - moisturising shower gels around. It's not really a gel, it is a lot creamier than that. I find that if I use it, even if i don't moisturise, the condition of the skin on my body really improves. It is rich and lathers up really well. I like the smell of Dove products and this is no different. I'm not sure if this is meant to be aimed at more mature shoppers but I love it and i think it is a lot better than a Clinique body wash I was given as a sample. Yay for supermarket beauty and Dove's take on 'anti-' aging products!

Absolutely LOVE the scent. I always liked the regular (white) Dove shower gels, but was bothered by the horrible smell. I accidentally came across this one and when I opened it and smelled it I was sooo happy. Finally a Dove shower cream with a nice scent!!!
I'm in my early twenties, so the "age effect" is not what I am looking for in a product. I'm happy with the moisture and comfort it gives to my skin. Will surely repurchase.

This is my HG body wash along with Aveeno body wash and body oil wash. It is one of the few washes to not dry out my skin and I find it's superior to the other Dove shower creams. Same with the Pro Age Beauty Bath (bubble bath). Great for my dry, sensitive skin. The fragrance isn't an issue for me, I like it a lot. Pro Age stuff is often on offer at Morrisons, Waitrose and Tesco.

I was using this product for about 6 months. I noticed my skin was baby soft right away and after about 4 months the turkey skin on my elbows, arms and legs (KP) was gone as if it never existed. My skin was truly soft and I didn't need lotion. Then I decided to start using my other body washes that smell like lavender. Within a month the turkey skin returned. That's when I realized the enormous benefits I'd gotten from Pro-Age. I'd bought the large size after all those months, I still had half left. When I resumed using it - just this week, the turkey skin is softening and disappearing already. I started using the body lotion too. I noticed that the other skin that was not prickly before is very soft with the lotion. I love this stuff but it was hard to find it in the stores to replenish my supply. If you want baby soft skin all over, get Pro-Age body wash. I think I'll look for the bars too since some one said they work better.

I have been offered as a present the whole line (I found it a bit gross to be offered drugstore items as a present and "pro age" is meant for older skins - I am in my 30's - but I am not discussing that here): body wash, deodorant, shampoo , body lotion you name it.
I simply hate it, not becasue it's not effective . I mean the body wash cleanses and the lotion moisturizes.. BUT for the scent.
Utterly offensive, chemical, smells like hair colour.
It is impossible for me to use that line (but I did try it up, the wole lot of products): it makes me gag.
I had to give away the whole lot (the worse is the deo that smells like a pest).
I truly love scents, and love my skincare to be scented - but this one is really too much of a stink. It's a pity, as Dove is a good brand - I like the basic line (that has a lovely clean scent indeed).

This delicious, creamy wash would soothe a crocodile's a**!
With key ingredients formulated to assist in cell turnover, Glycerin and emollients (10%) to add hydrating nourishment and maintian it. Natural Soy Oil (7%) (*Anyone who has read my Crisco review, knows how I feel about Soybean Oil.), and Olive Oil (1%) to help maintain skin's moisture barrier...What more do you need in a cleanser. It cleanses, moisturizes and seals in that moisturizer for hours without leaving a greasy ring around the rosey in your tub/shower like their other washes! A must for dry sensitive skin of absolutely any age or someone who just loves a luxurious bating experience. The fragrance- not my fav, so I added a few drops of sandalwood to the bottle-shake well. I use with a big nylon puff and highly rec. you do the same.
Lather up Buttercups! **As a TV/Film union artist, I will not endorse any product I do not truly believe in.

Okay this stuff really works for me! I have been using this for months. I hate buying it because of the high price but it's worth it! My skin has transformed in to the velvety softy, moisturized skin I have wished for. My tone even look better. My boyfriend noticed the softness as well. Go buy some!
Oh and also , I have used the bars as well. They are good but they don't lather well.

The Dove Pro-Age Body Wash is no where near as good as the Dove Pro-Age soap bars. After using the bars for several days straight, I can tell a big difference with my skin; it's not as dry and not as dull. However, after using the Pro Age Body Wash for a several days straight, my skin seems just as dry and dull as if I had not used it.. I am a fan of Dove products, but this one is so below average for Dove, it's very disappointing. Also, maybe it's me, but I do not like the fragrance used in the Pro-Age line; the scent reminds me of nail polish remover. All in all, had I not used this Pro Age Body Wash, I would take it back for a refund.

I agree with other viewers that this is a GOOD product but there are other GREAT products out there. The smell does leave something to be desired and I might or might not re-purchase. Maybe if it was on sale or something.

This is an ideal winter body wash when you need some extra moisturizing. The first time I used it on a puff, it make my skin itch, so I put it aside. I tried it again on a washcloth, and it was heaven! I love how soft it leaves my skin. It smells a bit like olive oil (which it has), so I do wish it smelled nicer, but I will definitely repurchase! Another body wash had made me break out a bit on my chest, but Dove ProAge has cleared it up nicely.

I simply love this product. I bought this for the second time and since using it my skin looks healthier, smoother and radiant. It moisturizers better than any body wash I have ever had. The price is good, around $5 a bottle and it smells nice. It rinses clean, but remember it is a cream body wash. I use it as a shaving lotion as well. So far it is my HG of body washes.

I so love Dove body washes, they are my absolute HGs & I enjoy trying all the different varieties. I would give this a 4.5 if I could. This has the same wonderful moisturizing & gentle yet effective cleansing you'd expect from Dove. I'm in my 30s & have always had very dry bodyskin, so moisturizing body washes are a must for me! However, there is something about the scent of this product - it's fine & pleasant enought but has a chemical-y aspect to it, it's not as freshly scented as other Dove washes. Still, I've enjoyed trying this out & would purchase again.

I'm 35 w/ extremely dry skin. My fave bodywashes are: Dove Sensitive Skin and Dove Cream Oil (Cocoa Butter/Rosewood version).
While Pro Age is better than a lot of other bodywashes out there, I much prefer my other Dove faves. Pro Age moisturizes, lathers well, doesn't strip my skin or leave it dry, and is good as a shaving cream. The smell isn't my favourite, but I didn't find it horrible offensive.
All in all, after having tried it, I wouldn't repurchase as I have Dove Sensitive and Dove Cream Oil to return to. If neither of those products existed, I might have been tempted to give Pro Age another go.
