I had a horrible time with the Lip Tint in Pink Popsicle (see my review), and while the Rose Petal is marginally better, I won't be buying another. I like the color and the texture, which is nice and solid, but the color streaks and leaves the dreaded "ring around the lips", which I find unforgivable at this price point, especially for a glorified lip balm. It's back to Aveda Lip Tint for me.

The tinted lip balms are a fabulous product. They are very moisturising and I love the Uber Pink one. Rose Petal is very pigmented, and applies as a deep rose red. I do find this a little too dark, and you definitely need a mirror when applying this. If you're looking for a lipbalm that has almost the same colour payoff as a lipstick, this shade would work.

Would I buy this again? Oh yeah! I bought this on impulse, knowing I would use it, but I had no idea that it would be my go to lip color. I love sheer lippies and while this is marketed as a balm, it has great color payoff. A great lipstick for the office and everyday MU looks as the color is not out there, in your face. I have no idea if this color is LE, but I will buy additional tubes for back up. Great product!

Initially I gave this a pretty good review and an overall rating of 5.

However recently I started using Lansinoh for my very chapped, dry lips, and that has led me to consider every other lip product a 3 at best.

I'll still use the Rose Petal color at times because it is pretty and looks good on. But for real softening, it will be used on top of Lansinoh.

I picked this up just for fun while shopping for foundation at the Bobbi Brown counter, and I'm sure glad I did. This little chapstick-like tube of moisturizing lip tint is fantastic! The texture is great. Very smooth and easy to apply. Soothing to the lips, and adds the perfect little bit of color to perk you up. This was a great find, and I recommend you give it a try.

Tried this tinted lip balm for the first time last week and finally getting time to write a review. Packaging is sturdy and love the metal case. Feels like it snaps securely. Coverage/texture is divine! Doesn't dry out my lips but rather makes me look pouty. Excellent payoff!!! Pinky red and looks fabulous with my skintone - nc20 bro/bro. The price is a little on the high side but I'm used to buying high end products so it's nothing but a thing to me now..lol! I would definitely rec this product again to anyone looking for something easy to apply without the use of a mirror but someone who wants some pop of color on their lips. Thought it would be more sheer and surprisingly it wasn't but that's a definite good thing. Lasts a long time too. Went to gym with this on right after work and it last throughout my sweaty 2 hours at the gym. Now that's impressive. I don't care if it doesn't have SPF in it. I use other stuff for that anyway.

Overall, don't know why I didn't buy this sooner. It's all I ever wear now.

I'm NC25, red hair, blue eyes and I love this color and formula. It's in a metal chap-stick type tube and is very easy to appy without a mirror. I needed something to keep in my desk at work that I can reapply throughout the day without having to be in front of a mirror and this is it. It gives a beautiful pinky-red color to my lips and really brightens up my face, while not being too much color. I haven't tried the other colors, but I would say this one is fairly pigmented for a tinted balm. It's a little pricey, but I'd buy it again as it's what I have been searching for in a tinted balm.

What a great tinted lipbalm! I was looking for something fool-proof that I can apply on the go and will give me a bit of color and this is perfect. Rose Petal is beautiful shade--definitely my favorite out of all the colors offered. It's a medium shade reddish pink...very flattering. The formula is nice, smooth and moisturizing- no weird grittiness here. I can apply it without the mirror, rub my lips together and it looks perfect and even, not splotchy. I also love the packaging! The shiny metal black tube with white bobbi brown lettering not only looks great but it keeps the balm cool even when exposed to hot temperatures and thus prevents it from melting. Ingenius!
