I was on the hunt for a gentle yet effective exfoliating cleanser and had no luck finding any, but in one of my subscription boxes i got a sample of this product and can i just say it is freaking amazing, its quite exfoliating at first but then it turns into a creamy rich lather which is like heaven for my dry skin. It's also awesome for people that dont have time to cleanse and exfoliate because this is like a two in one. My skin feels baby smooth after i use this! Love Love LOVE this and would definitley repurchase the full size when i get the chance. If you have dry skin make sure you give it a go. :)

I love it! I got it for my girlfriend, as she has sensitive skin and has wanted to use a scrub that wouldn't kill her skin. I was unable to resist using it! It feels so great, and feels like cookie dough on your face almost. I use it in the shower, and the hot steam seems to help in the melting of the sugar crystals. The scrub gets all the gross out, and really feels clean. The best surprise is when the sugar melts, and creates the silkiest, most velvety lather I have ever felt in a face wash. Rae uses it about three times a week, and hasn't had any redness or irritation. I have used it three days in a row, and even my not so sensitive skin got irritated the last time. So don't get too caught up in cookie face heaven. :3 I think it is a total win! The only cons are, that I am afraid it wont last us to much longer, and we have only had it two weeks.

Did I get an old sample of something? There are virtually no grains. Maybe all the sugar melted, because all it is is brown goo. Does the trick, though. Won't buy again because I got this tube as a sample and have too many other cleansers to get rid of.

I liked this scrub, it starts off grainy then dissolveds into a rich lather. It also leaves my skin soft smooth and moisturized.unfortunately this does contain SLS so I don't use this anymore and wont repurchase. I try to keep as much of my skincare and makeup free of harmful ingredients, unless there absolutely HG.

I got a small packet of this in my August 2011 Birchbox. The first thing I noticed was how large the scrubbies were. It feels like someone chopped up the almonds and just threw them in the mix. There are some more appropriately sized particles (I'd assume the sugar) that don't scrape my face off like the random big ones. My favorite thing about this cleanser is that it lathers up on damp skin. It not only leaves my skin smooth, but it actually feels moisturized. I would be excited to get another sample, but I can't spend full price for a just okay product.

At first, I hated this product. I used to use it at the sink and thought it was hard and rubbed against my skin in a harsh way and I just sat it aside. Then I decided to give it another try, but in the shower. And I loved it ever since. You really need heat/steam and lather it up to make it soft and after you wash your face, it feels so soft and smooth. I do think it's pricey ($25 for 4 oz) but I think it's worth it.

I honestly don't know how this has gotten so many great reviews... I have tried it several times and I still hate it. I usually use my Clarisonic to cleanse my face but if you use it along with this product your face will be rubbed raw. I have tried it without the Clarisonic as well and I am still very unimpressed as I seem to get oily much faster. I do like that it's all natural but I think it smells a bit weird and would rather use a different exfoliating product (like St. Ives). I received this in a smaller tube to try out and will be using the rest as an exfoliator for my body, but I will not be repurchasing once I run out. ):

My mom got this for about $3 somehow! I decided to try it since it smelled so great, and I really like how it feels when being massaged in. Its like rough and grainy, and then they melt away and its smooth.. amazing!

But I think it makes my skin oily really quickly.

I have extremely sensitive dry skin and I really like this product because it doesn't cause any problems whatsoever. What's really nice is that you can control the degree of exfoliating by adding water--more warm water melts the brown sugar and creates a nourshing foaming wash. It's very pleasant. Although this product does not work miracles, it's versatility is great and if used carefully can be effective for any skin type.

I have oily skin, with moderate acne, which I am trying to clear up. I needed an exfoliator since I was tired of my neutrogena 2-in-1 blackhead eliminating pads. I got this at tj maxx for like 5 bucks, which is a still considering its usually over 10 bucks. Anyway, I love, love this stuff. If you have sensitive, dry skin, I wouldn't reccommend this. T he scrubbing particles are kind of big, and they're really packed in there. If you don't have sensitive or dry skin, you should try this. It left my skin, clean, glowing, and soft. Don't use too much, though. I did that. It didn't do anything wrong, like leave my skin red or anything. Its just there is no need to use a bunch when a nickel sized amount will do. I'll get this again if I see it at TJ Maxx. I don't think I'd pay over 10 bucks for it though, but only because I never pay over 10 dollars for skin products.
*edit* I noticed that if I'm scrubbing a particular area too much it'll get red. Plus, any bumps on my face get hard. I still like this stuff, but for sensitive skin like mine, id stay away, unless you don't mind the abrasiive texture. The redness lasts for a couple minutes or so, not long at all. Ill still continue to use. Oh, and another thing, if you want it more like an exfoliant, put directly on face, then scrub. If you want it more as a cleanser, rub it in hands a little, until the srubbing particles aren't as apparwnt, then apply to face.

First a warning: do NOT buy the box of 10 envelopes at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. If you want to try this product w/out investing in a whole tube, get 1 envelope at Ulta. I purchased the aforementioned box of 10 at Marshalls and talk about a waste of product. No matter how I tried, I could not get all the product out of each envelope - so, becuz I could tell by feel that there was a lot of product I wasn't getting out, I actually cut open all remaining 8 envelopes ( I had already used 2 and tossed the envelopes). There was 2x the amount of product I got out (and put in a empty oil of olay jar) than what I had been able to squeegee out of the 2 envelopes I had already used. Lesson learned - will puchase the tube once my Oil of Olay jar is empty.

Now - onto the product itself - LOVE LOVE it. Lathers up nicely (feels a bit sticky until working into lather on face) w/ enuf granules that one must rub w/ a light touch in order to feel like a gentle exfoliator - otherwise, I find it to be too rought for my skin. Used 1/week (gently) = nicely cleansed, gently exfoliated, glowing, moisturized skin! Smells nice too! Will definitely re-purchase when I feel like a splurge and want to take a break from my regular Cetaphil mixed w/ sugar.

4/09 UPDATE - ok - I've used half a dozen times and have decided it is too harsh for my face - the granules are too rough. However, have been using on my arms for KP and I love it for that. however, I can mix sugar w/ my cetaphil for a much cheaper scrub for my KP

This smells very sweet and tempting. However, the sugar granules were too rough for my skin.

I think I am the first one who reviews this brand. Be Fine is a very new skincare company. I found their stuff just appeared at local CVS. As a person who always wants to try new skincare products locally, I picked two things to start "experiencing" this newbie. Actually I found both what I picked are so so. And the price is not low either. I am disappointed. This exfoliating cleanser is VERY VERY harsh. Their websites had a lot of people raving about this one which I can not agree. It contains brown sugar as the exfoliating agent; normally I warm them first to make the sugar melt a bit and then apply on my face VERY gently. Still my face feels very dry after it. Apparently it is not an everyday cleanser. I have oily T-zone and I found out I can not use it continuously for two days (If I do so, my face is burningly dry--I have not had such bad experience because of a cleanser for a long long time). I still give it 3 out of 5 because it does clean and exfoliates well, simply I have to use it one a week or something like that. For other reasons, it does not irritate the skin when applying it and also it dose not have any smell.
The other product I got from them was the eye cream. I would give 2.5 out of 5 (its price is around $20.) I do think it is a cute little company owned by a cute old lady with this cute little idea (which is NOT new btw)...unfortunately, the initial experience with it was not very good with me. :-$
