I have finally found the first that I love! I have combination skin with the dry parts being very flaky and never looking smooth. I always have a few blemishes and my skin breaks out from EVERYTHING. I have probably purchased at least 40 cleansers without liking any of them. I had been using Murads clarifying cleanser which only made my skin drier and didn't improve my acne. I have been using this new cleanser for a week now and I'm so happy with it! Doesn't leave my skin really dry and my acne is really clearing up. I even got a compliment on how glowy my face looked! It was exciting to finally have a compliment on my skin. It has a very nice, light floral scent that's pleasing. Definitely would recommend this and buy it again.
EDIT: starting breaking out using it and it made my face very dry.

I recently started getting into Skincare products again and I decided that I needed to change up my usual routine. I have a multitude of cleansers but the problem I run across is makeup removing and feeling clean afterwards. The only thing that had seemed to work for me was washing with the Botanics Gentle Cleansing Crème without water and removing with a warm wash cloth. I decided to purchase this based on the great reviews in comparison with other brands like Shiseido or Kiehl’s. I love this stuff.
My skin type is normal. I have the occational dry spots during the winter seasons and semi-oily T-zone but nothing that I have ever been determined to get rid of. I’ve been blessed with great skin as is with one to two pimples a month. It’s a crème based cleanser (my favorite type) and it lathers up like a dream. You only need a small amount and when you wash it off, you feel clean but “squeaky” clean as others would put it. I’ve started using it with my Clarisonic Pro (deep pore cleansing brush head) and I’ve noticed a huge difference. My skin feels incredibly soft and those one to two pimple as month I usually get have decreased to none a month.
Best find yet will keep repurchasing. I’ve also decided that I love the Botanics line out of everything else I’ve ever tried. Which even includes the extreme higher end stuff like Sisley, Environ, etc. For some reason, this stuff just seems to work on my skin the best. I’ve purchased the Botanics Face Renewal SPF 15 Cream and the Botanics Complexion Refining Light Night Cream. Using one line has really benefitted because I feel like I’m getting the best results.

I use this once a day in the mornings and my skin has never looked better since I've started. It looks fresh and clean and feels smooth and firm.
I've managed to get it too close to my eye area numerous times and I've never felt any irritation with it.
Edit after using for about 3 months I've found it's really drying out my skin. I typically like to wait 5 minutes before putting moisturiser on after using this face wash. During that time my cheeks and chin in particular have really dried out. I'd most likely swap to using this every 2-3 days rather than every day.

I have sensitive, acne-proned skin and this cleanser is a very soothing, creamy, but foamy cleanser. I use it in conjunction with my clarisonic mia and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It doesn't leave my skin dry and it has a light, floral scent. Overall, it's a nice, basic cleanser.

I love this face wash! It doesn't irritate my dry skin yet it's still very deep cleaning. I love that it removes my makeup so well and even my eye makeup! It's very gentle and my face never feels tight or stripped afterwards. I also like that this is so affordable at only 6.99 at my local target. I will definitely buy more when I run out!

I initially bought this to pair with Olay's Pro X brush cleanser to keep or add some moisture to my skin, since the Pro X is pretty much a gentle exfoliator.
I use this in the shower with the Pro X to remove whatever residue may linger after using my Neutrogena makeup remover wipes (which is rare because those wipes do a good job) or simply to take off all my makeup in the shower in one step on my lazy days. Removes my face makeup easily. I also use this cleanser on its own without the pro x and it doesn't leave a film and doesn't strip my skin of moisture or leave it feeling taut. BUT, I don't use it just on its own to remove my makeup, as it will have a harder time trying to get it all off. I like it. Will repurchase.

+ Luxuriously moisturising and creamy
- Leaves a tight film on my face after I use it - I use it in the shower so it's not like I'm not rinsing it all off my face. Will update review after trying it in the basin instead.
Won't repurchase because I like trying out other products and there's nothing uber-special about this one.

Love it! Smells wonderful, gentle enough to be a good winter cleanser, skin is clean & feels great, the price is reasonable, reminds me more of a cleansing "balm" vs a foaming cleanser though it does provide a lightweight foam. Excellent product for those who have dry skin or in need of milder cleanser that doesn't strip. I would not recommend this to remove makeup, I don't think it contains enough detergents, use a makeup remover 1st then follow with this cleanser.

Switched over from the mousse to this due to the latter's leaky packaging. This emollient-producing gel is much easier to use in the shower and traveling and I prefer it to the other. Paula Begouin says the amount of Sodium Laureth Sulfate is trivial enough in this to make it a good choice, but compared to using a cleansing cream or milk I always need moisturizer after this product. I like to alternate- this in the shower to really get a good cleanse, and the Boots Cleansing Milk to remove make up in the evening without a need for moisturizer after. I do tend to have traces of make up left after this product, especially around my eyes, so I would recommend a make up remover in addition to this.

It's been said that if your pores are clean, they look smaller. I have huge visible pores. At first I was looking for a cleanser that removes make-up, is moisturizing, and doesn't stretch out my skin so that it feels dry. To my surprise this cleanser does all of that plus makes my pores extra clean and looks smaller. I use this twice a day followed by the Boots Botanics Daytime Moisturizer (made with rice bran protein).
This is my first time trying out Boots and it's such a cheap steal! It performs better than the high end brands that I've tried. My skin is combo and very oily during summer months.

I just started using the product and I like it. My first criteria for a cleanser is if it removes my foundation and this product does. You don't have to use too much to get a good lather.
My skin didn't feel as good as when I used the Aveeno cream cleanser but Aveeno didn't remove my makeup.
I am finding that soap that does remove makeup is more drying than the ones that don't, I guess that is the tradeoff.

Although I use The Oil Cleansing Method a few days a weeks, on the other days I had been using either WalMart's Equate moist facial towelettes or Purpose for normal/dry skin (although mine's quite oily the other one leaves my skin too tight) on the other days. I've quit making the special trips to WalMart just for these wipes and ran out Purpose.
I remembered that I'd picked up a tube of this Boot's cleanser based on reviews here, but I'd never tried it. I gave it a go, and I love it. I find it very comparable to the Purpose cleanser. It really does clean very deeply, thoroughly removing all my make-up, even waterproof mascara when I forget to use remover first. When I run a cotton ball with alcohol-free toner over my face afterward, I get nothing, unlike most other cleansers except the Purpose.
It leaves my face very soft and moist feeling, but not at all greasy. I use this at night and just water wash with tepid water in the morning.
I'm quite well satisfied with it and will definitely repurchase. Although some drugstores around me carry a few Boot's products, I haven't seen this. Target is the only place I've seen it - on the aisle with Welleda, Yes to Carrots and other organic/specialty bath/skincare/cosmetic products, not with the regular skin care products - near cosmetics such as Sonia Kashuk, Elf, etc.

While this is one of the few products that completely removes my longwear foundation, I find that it leaves my eye area feeling somewhat uncomfortable and tight. It's a shame because I don't mind the fragrance and love the creamy consistency. I have had similar issues with other "soap-free" products such as Basis Cleaner Clean face wash. I will continue the hunt for a nighttime cleanser but recommend this for someone who can tolerate the formulation.

I have been using this product for the last couple of months and really quite like it! In fact have used a couple of other things from the Botanics range and have been very impressed.
I use this cleanser after removing my make up with wipes (Usually Boots cucumber wipes) and use a very small amount on my hands, add water and lather it up and apply all over face and neck and then rinse well.
I dont find it drying but if I used a large amount then probably would.
I find the secret to suit me is to use a very small amount.
I also use it once a week on dry skin mixed with 2 crushed Aspirins (crush aspirin first in a small saucer and add just enough Botanics clean foam to bind together )and then apply like a masque-avoiding eye contour area- and leave it on for about 5 mins and then rinse well.
I find it leaves my skin very soft and feels like it declogs the pores and have had no hormonal breakouts under the jawline since doing this.
Overall, very satisfied with this product and will repurchase.

So far, I am liking this cleanser. It removes my make up pretty well and it doesn't feel harsh on my skin. You only need a small amount to lather so I can see this lasting quite awhile. It's not too drying, and my face feels soft and clean afterwards. I also like the light scent from this cleanser. Inexpensive and effective :)
Edit: changed this to a 4, I just dont find myself grabbing for this because although it does get rid of my makeup, I feel like my other cleansers do an even better job. Still a great product for the price though.

I purchased Boots Deep Clean Foam because I was looking for a new cleanser for my combination/breakout-prone skin. The reviews here were very complimentary, so I went out and bought it. I have been using it for about three months now, but have finally thrown in the towel because I am sick of having tons of breakouts while using it.Yes, it is apparently very deep cleaning, because it is making my skin purge like no other. I seriously haven't seen this amount of pimples in forever, but thanks to Deep Clean Foam I wake up every morning with brand new ones. I understand that sometimes purging is necessary to clear up your skin, but it never seems to heal anything or make it better. I love the way this smells, so I might use it on my body, but I will never again use it on my face. Unfortunate for me, since everyone else seems to be getting good results from it.

So far I am really liking this product. First of all I think it is important to tell your skin type before giving a review so others can kind of get of a better idea of how they may respond since skin is very individual in how it reacts to products and there are other factors involved. My skin is normal/combination with occasional breakouts. My age is in the 40's:)
My experience the first night is that is does have a very nice light botanical fragrance that I like. I don't care for sweet scents. I also noticed a very little went a long way. So go sparingly with it and this should go far. My face felt soft imediately afterwards. But also in the morning when I woke up. No oily residue and no flakiness. Perfectly normal :) I'm expecting continual great results and a decrease in breakouts! I'll keep you informed if there's any changes.

I really tried to like this product, but I found that it dried out my skin (not usually a problem as my skin is not overly sensitive). I passed it onto my SO and it's working great for him.
