You know when you get that awful painful feeling under the skin and you just know within hours it will start to look red and transform to a large bump? This treatment actually gets rid of the pain and swelling straight away, and starts flattening the pimple. The only downside to this is that it is quite hard to apply - especially in the morning, under make up. It dries and hardens quickly and doesn't rub in very well. So it's great at night if you just want to wear it as a bright white visible spot cream, but if you want to disguise it you have to work very quickly! I would still buy it though because it is very effective.

After carefully reviewing various spot treatments to find which would work most effectively on those nasty hormonal bumps I decided to give this one a try and I'm so glad I did. I was a long time user of bp (clinique emergency gel lotion) which I loved but I think maybe my skin started to become resistant to it. So I decided to try the sulfur treatment and so far so good. I gave it 4 stars since I just started using it and I don't know how it will continue in the long run but I'm hoping that within a week my skin should be in much better shape. It definitely has reduced the redness and inflammation and calmed the skin down in general. Also not drying at all which is a plus in my book! I bought mine a few dollars cheaper so the price doesn't bother me especially if the product does what it claims and you don't need to use much for application b/c of the thick consistency so it should last quite awhile. I recommend anyone with the same issues as mine to go ahead and buy it you have nothing to lose! Good luck!

I bought this in the attempt to rid me of the clogged pores on my forehead. For the first few uses it did live up to what it said it was supposed to.
However after continued use(week), I dabbed it on my spots and nothing happened. I continued dabbing it on overnight on the spots, but they didnt budge, just kept slowly getting bigger. I was hoping that it would work for me considering I spent a pretty penny for this stuff, but its not as good when I once bought it. My skin gets used to products fast, so if that isnt the case for you, then I suggest you buy it for yourself. Hopefully you will have better luck than me!

I've been looking for an alternative to BP, as it appears it doesn't work anymore on my face. I have to say this product is quite effective. It's not MAGIC. It doesn't make pimples disappear completely overnight, but it does reduce and flatten them quite a bit, and then they should go away in a few days. It's expensive, but it works.
The only reason this doesn't get a 5 from me is the absurd cap design. This product is very THICK, and the cap is a little well. So what ends up happening is you try to squeeze out as much as you need, but a lot of product ends up sticking to the inside of the cap. The best way to avoid wasting half the product is to unscrew the cap completely and dispense directly from the tube.

This is an AMAZING product! I woke up in the morning and felt "IT" on my forehead... I went to work and put some of this spot treatment on. I dusted it with halo powder and went about my day. When I got home and washed my face my pimple was dead! I will buy this product until I die. It does not dry out your skin. This is best used on bumpy blemishes. I promise it will zap those pimples away!!!

My skin became so much clearer after only one week of using the Correct & Perfect Spot Treatment. Before finding this product, I was using Murad's sulfur spot treatment, and I think my skin got used to the product because it did little to get rid of existing pimples (let alone prevent new ones!).
I have been using this product for the past month now, and could not be happier with my skin. I still get the occasional breakout, but my skin clears up a lot faster now than it did before with other spot treatments (Murad, ProActiv, Patricia Wexler, Mary Kay) AND blemishes are less noticeable to non-existent!

Really, really great spot treatment. I thought the best sulfur treatment I had ever bought would be the Murad one but this is by far more effective, without any of the latter's side effects of over-drying the skin. It really is like a vacuum cleaner for those blemishes. I often use it in conjunction or on alternating nights with a bp spot treatment and the 2-fold approach is unbeatable.

I have tried SO many different spot treatments and nothing worked. I never noticed a difference in any of them except for this one. I put this on the tiniest little bumps on my face and they are gone by the morning if i put it on at night or by the end of the day if i put it on in the morning. This is a miracle in a tube for pimples! I live and breathe this product.

I thought I would be using Dermalogica's Medicated Clearing Gel forever, but my skin has changed and the breakouts I get do not respond as well with Dermalogica. I still use it depending on the type of pimple, but Correct & Perfect is often what I reach for now. It flattens pimples if you get to them early enough, but may take a few nights usage to get rid of them completely. My tube has lasted me more than a year so while it is expensive for the amount, in the end it is good value.

Loved this spot treatment!!
i have occasional mild breakouts of pimples of the 'little red raised bumps' sort (nothing cystic, nothing 'white', nothing gigantic). applying this spot treatment to a new pimple at night instantly made the pimple less painful and slightly less inflamed; by the next morning the pimple was either gone or considerably smaller. fantastic stuff!
cons are that it smells a bit funny (sulfur) and it is a tad expensive ($28 for half an ounce - but you only need a little bit each time, my .5 ounce tube lasted me over a year and a half!).

This product is really amazing. It is very expensive (50 dollars for a tiny tube here in Aus). However, the results are incredible. At first i simply applied to a few spots here and there, then i decided to apply a thin layer over my t-zone and on any red marks at night, in the morning my skin was the clearest i have ever seen it. I was really amazed. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but it is definitely worth it. Can also be worn as a concealer during the day, but be careful as it can be drying is applied too often. Thumbs up tho. This is my HG skin product.

This is quite a good spot treatment. Sulfur has always been quite effective on my breakouts, and it is the primary active ingredient in this cream. While this is not the best I've used, it definitely helps shrink spots without excessive drying, and the tinted color means it doesn't look chalky or obvious on skin. One gripe though: the top of the tube (right below the cap) cracked after I'd used about half so I had to transfer it to another container. I would prefer if it were packaged in a pump to prevent this problem, as well as to keep it airtight and eliminate waste from the bottom of the tube.

I love this! This is one of the few skincare items that I'd repurchase again and again. It just WORKS. I apply it every morning after I wash my face but before my moisturizer, and it keeps pimples at bay all day. Apply a thin layer to your breakout-prone areas and it keeps them clear. It has a light sulfur smell but that fades immediately. I also like the color and texture of this cream - it's almost like concealer in that I feel it helps camouflage any spots you do have and make them appear less red and noticeable. Best of all, it doesn't dry out my skin the way Persagel can (I use the harsher stuff at night on any stubborn areas). I took off one lippie bc I think $28 is ridiculous for a small tube but I'll keep buying it for less $$ on eBay.

GREAT acne/ spot treatment, it has the sulphur smell abit but it works well. i find that alot of the spot treatment works only in the beginning and for some reason the skin gets used to it, i hope this one sticks!

Great product. Works like a charm on the spot pimples I get around my mouth.
But its $28 for .5 oz so I try not to use too much on one pimple.
Love it though.
edit: 9/17//2012 : It has been 4 years since I first wrote this review and I am using the same bottle....I use such a tiny bit because I love this product so much and a little goes a long way with it!! It is still as remarkable.

my dermatologist told me i can apply a thin layer to the entire area that breaks out which would be my chin and lower cheeks. i do just that, nightly, and i have not really broken out since. even during my period! last night i felt a small bump and i applied more generously on top and it is even tinier this morning. so this works. it doesn't really hurt though. i am in the camp that if it ain't burning, stinging or tingling upon application, it ain't working but i'm old so that's why. don't listen to that part. but this stuff works. and i got it as a free sample and the sample was gigantic. big fan. oh, and i apply a thin layer under my makeup on trouble spots to act as a barrier between makeup and skin and it does not affect my makeup application so that's nice.

Update 12/08 - It didn't work as well as I wanted after all. Dried out my skin and didn't help my cystic pimples.
