This is one of those shades that you either love...or you despise. This was my first OPI polish, and it seriously did nothing for me. It took three coats to get the soft, grey-toned lavender color in the bottle, and I realized that against my fair skin, it made my hands look washed out and dead. In the bottle, it looks like it has a low shimmer to it, which sadly doesn't show up on the nails. It just shows up as a pale lavender creme. I think this is definitely for warmer skin tones (or any other skin tone besides alabaster white, like me). But I'm not in any way knocking it down just because the color didn't work for me. It's just that for OPI, this was a complete dud on my list because the formulation on this particular shade is rather thin and watered down, not to mention very sheer. This gets two thumbs down from me, unfortunately.

I wasn't complete sure about this when I first saw it (in the bottle and in ads) when the campaign came out.
But last week ther was a 1/2 used bottle sitting at my nail salon and it just called to me. So after test-trying it on my pinky nail - next to a few other pinky and purpley pastels, I went with it and - surprise - it works.
It looks grey in the bottle and also looks (in bottle) as though there will be shimmer. On my PPP cool-toned skin - there was no shimmer and it was pinky-purple (not grey and not nude.). Weird.
But it worked.
Not a HG but a nice spring/Easter time pale lavender.

This is a pretty, grayed lilac with the tiniest bit of shimmer. I think it's gorgeous. It's subtle, like a nude, but with enough color for me and very flattering. Application was pretty good, I used OPI's ridge filler and it wasn't streaky at all! Durability has been decent, four days and not a chip anywhere with only the teeniest bit of tipwear.

Found this to be a bit too grey/nude for my liking - would work for me if it were brigher I think. Didn't do anything for my skintone. Could see this looking really nice against a darker skintone. Love the fact that it is not very shimmery (just a teeny bit of shimmer) and that it's very opaque.

I am absolutely in love this color, even more than Bubble Bath, which gets all the attention. This is a lovely soft purplish-nude. I think it is sexy and feminine and I am in love with it. I had to use 3 coats to get the perfect shade, but each one went on really smooth and without streaks. I just painted my nails so I cannot comment on how long it goes without chipping, but overall this is a great color that I would recommend to anyone of any age. I would definitely repurchase and at this moment this is my favorite OPI shade.

Wasn't thrilled about the pro-wides, but it's growing on me. The application was smooth and easy, and dried quickly too. The color is a cool lilac, sort of a soft pastel shade, no shimmer.

Perfect, non streaky two coat application? Check!
Lovely glossy OPI finish? Check!
Unfortunately this very cool lilac made my skin and nails look grey and dead. I'm a bit too pale for it.

I absolutely adore this color! I just randomly decided to get it at my last manicure, and I'm getting so many compliments on how gorgeous it is.. additionally, while this is a lavendar-like color, it doesn't look tacky or anything it sort of has a blue-pink underone that makes it seem very normal and not outlandish at all. Gorgeous, one of my favorite summer colors, without a doubt!

Such a great color for spring. I was looking for a pale violet color that wasn't too sheer or shimmery. I found one at the drugstore that was almost perfect, but had a little shimmer and chipped within one day. I took the bottle to my local beauty supply store and Puerto Vallarta Violeta was the closest match. This polish lasts at least a week or so without chipping! You really do get what you pay for. I keep coming back to this color because it's just so pretty.
