I'm giving this a fairly high review because of the actual product itself, and because I've learned to use the packaging over time.

I chose the shade Silky Sable for my neutral (NC25 roughly) light olive Asian skin tone. I'm actually half European so perhaps for those with a mix of yellow and neutral skin tones, this shade would work well for you also. I actually and very very happy with the shade. Initially, it looked a little weak and glittery to me. I have trouble finding blush shades that aren't too "orange" (because my skin already has a slight yellow tint) yet blushes that are too cool can make me look washed out. This is the perfect shade for me and the product is buildable if used correctly. Also, it appears to last all day and looks quite natural despite the shimmer (which I am not a fan of). If I could describe this shade, I would say it's a neutral buff/peach color..a very natural shade.

PACKAGING: I know this is what everyone gripes about, so here is my take. Yes, it was quite frustrating at first. I didn't know how to make the product come out and when it did, it was far too much, I also didn't like the idea of having it get the lid all messy and I didn't understand how to use the brush so that it didn't leave the blush all streaky on my face. FINALLY, I worked it all out. I find that the best way to achieve a natural flush is to pump the plastic brush guard up and down a few times till you see the product in the center when you part the bristles. Use your finger to spread the product through the bristles evenly or perhaps use a tissue to bend and blot the brush. This is key to the right application. Eventually I got enough spread throughout the brush that there is usually enough product already there that I don't have to work with it to much before each application. I don't think shaking the bottle vigorously ever worked for me.

As far as putting it on goes, use a light light hand at first..the product is very buildable! Don't press the brush into your cheek initially, just use light strokes toward the hair line and be sure to blend downwards to avoid a harsh line. The bristles are too hard as far as I'm concerned, but there isn't much way around it. And the fact the brush is there is actually quite convenient.

All in all, the product is great, the packaging and brush are lacking but you might grow to enjoy it's convenience over time. I've learned to like this product and I would repurchase it. I would probably give it a 3.5 if I could, but I don't think it really deserves a 3.

Best use: As a staple in your makeup "To Go" bag. It's great for travel.

Wow this blush is so pretty, I love it. I have the Natural Apricot, 20. It looks so soft and natural on. It's quite beautiful really. I will be buying this again, for sure! The pkg is pretty ok, the brush isn't as soft as my ecotools kabuki, but it's decent. I may put the blush in another glass container and use it that way.

When this first came out, my dermatologist was all excited. He wanted his patients to try it. I did. It was fine. Not terrific, but fine. Gave me a pop of color and it did not cause any clogged pores. Can't remember what shade I used on my NC25 skin - -something peachy. Wasn't ever a fave for me. I moved on. The container delighted and frustrated me because the brush fanned out over time and then wouldn't fit back into its plastic case. Having an attached brush was, though, innovative in my opinion.

I have this in Pure Plum-- a nice fall color, brownish-mauve. Goes great with darker, berry-toned clothes and my light-medium skin. The packaging is annoying, plus the plastic top cracks easily. Would buy again, but only if they improve the packaging.

I have two of these, that I got in Target's clearance bins - Sable and Precious Pink. The colors are so pretty (I'm not getting any serious shimmer...) and give a nice lit-from-within look. If you can get them on your cheeks. Seriously, the packaging sucks. The product comes up from one little spot in the center of a stiff brush. It's hard to get it to come out at all, but when you do, a lot tends to rush out. I've tried to swirl the brush around on something before applying, but that helps only minimally. The result is always a blotchy application that I have to work with to get to look good - buffing like a madwoman with a kabuki. I'm going to try to figure out how to break one of these open to get the powder into something else, I think...

I bought this in Precious Pink after hearing good things about the shade and reading good reviews about it here. I'm a PPP and although I liked the shade of the color, I CANNOT STAND the shimmer-but-really-borerline-glitter in it. Horrifying! I am so disappointed, especially since a few on here have said they do not notice it when it is on their face....I have other blushes that tend to do that and I was hoping this was one of them, but not at all! I look like I have glitter all over....even when I apply a lot of loose powder over it. Horrible, just horrible. (And while I'm at it, the brush is awful, too.) Will not repurchase.

Pros:-Pigmented color
-Good staying power
-Doesn't irritate sensitive/acne prone skin
Cons:-Bad, scratchy brush
-streaky blush
-Expensive for drug store product
Overall, it's okay. This would have been a better (and cheaper) product without the brush. I always heard people talking about "streaky blush", I wasn't sure was exactly was that until now. The brush sucks really badly, and once I put the color onto my face, I had to use another brush to make it look less streaky. I really would have enjoyed this product if it just came without brush, it gave me a nice natural flush (I bought it in "Precious Pink")for the long school day. I am probably going to return it to ulta and opt for another hypoallergenic/less irritating blush (since my face is being so sensitive to my mac blushes :( I am breaking out).

I have this in Natural Apricot. The color is amazing! It stays put all day long and has a nice shimmer to it. Looks great paired with bronzer. Wish the packaging was easier to use.

I have this blush in illuminator. It is a very sheer, barely there pink. When I used this as a blush it had way too much sparkle. But now I just use it sparingly on the top of my cheeks as a highlighter and I love it.

This is probably the worst blush I have ever used. It had huge pieces of glitter in it, and I looked like I was trying to be a fairy for Halloween. I took it back to CVS the next day. Also hated the brush. You have to shake down the powder..very annoying. Do not buy this! I went against a review and thought I wanted to try it anyway, but I regret that decision now!

One word. Meh. I had used a friend's blush in the lightest color and I loved it....I went and bought my own, in the rare rose...and so far, I hate it. The color seems nice enough but the application is far from desired. The blush seemed to only disperse from the very center of the blush brush and it went on very streaky and very heavy. The thing is, when I tried my friend's blush, it didn't do this at all. I don't know, maybe I need to use it a bit more and the blush will start to disperse through the whole blush brush, I really don't know. I'm not giving up on it just yet. But I do wish I would have bought the lightest color. I have a very ivory complexion and the rare rose does seem a bit bright.

The only reason I would not buy this again is I don't think I'll ever run out! I was looking for Apricot but ended up with Sable as they were out of Apricot. Sable looks more bronzy/brown in the packaging but it's more of a rosey color. The packaging sucks - I mean how you get it to deposit just a little bit of the blush? I bring it up on the attached brush and pick it up with a separate blush brush. Its quite pigmented when you first put it on but it can be blended down to an acceptable shade. But the best thing about these (I also have the bronzer which I LOVE) is that the color looks like it comes from within. It doesn't look like you've plopped on some color on your face. I saw other reviews where they complained about glitter or lack of pigment but that hasn't been my experience at all. The only downside is the price - I would really rather pay half the price and get half the product. As you only need a little bit, one of these will last you years, especially if you rotate blushes as I do.

wow. the blush sucks. i bought the lightest color just to use as a highlighter, and the shimmers are huge! i might as well put craft glitter on my face. so disappointed with this. i paid $10, too. and the packaging is horrible. it deposits way too much or no blush at all. and the brush hurts my face; it's way too hard.
overall, i'm not satisfied with this at all. waste of money.

I was curious about the packaging and the whole "mineral" thing.
I have it in two shades-rare rose which is great and precious pink which is too pale for my skin-it does not look like a have blush on at all!
Rare rose is a beautiful colour, just the right shade of pink for my medium skin.
It does take time to make the powder come to the brush,I wish the brush bristles were a bit softer, but generally I am happy with this product,it fits nicely in my purse and I can apply it anywhere I am,outside drinking with friends or just doing errands.Want to try the other shades as well.

I really really really wanted to like this. i was actually hoping it would be one of the few it worked for, but sadly no =(. the packaging is awful, it doesnt work, and when product did come out it came in giant bursts that left me streaky. the color i noticed (i purchased natural apricot) was different for each one at the store although they all said natural apricot? the color was nice when blended a bit since its kind of bright, and i liked the mineral concept of this. i would not repurchase.

I have this product in Precious Pink, and it is my favorite blush ever. It is a great color, feels great on the skin, and I love how the brush is attached and its all-in-one. A little expensive, but it lasts forever!!

This is an okay product. I was excited at first at how it was packaged, but after try it out I hate it. The brush is really rough and doesn't give me enough control. And I feel like the blush doesn't stay on my skin long enough.

The packaging is awful so I broke open the container and put the powder in a better pot. I use my own blusher brush to apply the powder instead and the result is nice. I bought the precious pink shade? Not sure of the name but it's a really pretty pink colour. Overall the colour is not bad and it's good to use a powder blush rather than my usual cream blush during summer, but I wouldn't buy it again because of the awful packaging. There are better blush products out there
