Not worth the $$$!!! Bought this at the grocery store because the price tag was wrongly marked $8.99. It rang up as 18.99, bought it anyway. Aveeno typically has good products, so I figured why not? It's an ok moisturizer, but honestly vaseline intensive care lotion moisturizes just as well, if not better! I noticed NO visible anti-aging effects on my skin. Smells pretty good, but not worth nearly $20. Will not buy again.

I have sensitive skin and discoloration marks on my cheeks due to my acne. None of the other brands have worked for my skin. This creme has really help me even out my skin tone and in my second week i have gotten rid of my discoloration.( I cleanse with Aveeno Radiant) I absolutely love it. And the fragrance has not made my skin irritated. I wouldnt go to bed without it now. I wake up with beautiful radiant even color skin!! I dont have to wear make up anymore and when i do apply i fonally get the natural flawless look. I love Aveeno (:

When I first starting using this I thought my skin was responding badly, but it ended up being a reaction to a change in a new foundation I tried. One I went back to my old foundation and used this at night I started to see a huge difference in the tone, texture and clarity of my skin. The biggest part was seeing smoother skin around the areas I had deep acne scarring. The indents are nearly gone after dealing with them for a year now and my skin just feels much more hydrated and smooth making the morning routine that much better. My skin feels plump and hydrated when I wake up in the morning.
I wouldn't go to bed without it!

Pros - None
Cons - I have sensitive skin and reacted pretty bad to it. My face became red, irritated, and a little sore near the lips. It's too bad.
Good for
- Maybe people who don't have sensitive skin. Even then, I am not sure how well it works

This was supposed to be an anti-aging product... I couldnīt really notice it. I donīt think this is an effective product. Also it smells, and has the consistency of hair conditioner, wich I donīt like. Well, At least, I had no severe alergic reactions, though it made one or 2 pimples look worse. I would never buy it again, itīs a waste of money.

I had really high expectations for this night cream. I have had a great track record with Aveeno products previously. I used Aveeno's Clear Complexion facial wash until the bottle ran out and I am still using Aveeno's Clear Complexion daily moisturizer (which I repurchased several times). Both products are very gentle but produced good results, which I thought would ensure the good quality of their Positively Ageless reconditioning night cream.
First off, the night cream comes in a jar (which I thought was fine because the packaging was cute, even if unsanitary). The amount of product was so disappointing! There was SO little product that I even wondered if I got an opened item that someone in the store tested. The smell was strong but I even got over that aversion because it faded after I applied it onto my face. The consistency of the lotion is not thick and it blended into my skin very easily. I couldn't even tell by looking that I had a night cream on, which was okay because I didn't necessarily want a sticky mess. I wanted to love this product so badly but I woke up this morning with a swollen face. I must have gotten an allergic reaction to some ingredient because my nose and lips were swollen and my cheeks had a red rash in some spots.
I don't consider my skin to be sensitive at all and this never happened with any other face product I have used. Luckily I saved the box and the receipt so I will be returning it to Target.

EDIT: After using this every night for several weeks, I've actually noticed that my face is developing an uneven skin tone and the elasticity of my skin is compromised! Back to the drawing board. Plus, it makes me itch. :( Can't recommend this one.
Since entering my 30s, I've found I needed more moisture for my face. I have extremely sensitive skin, and new products are always a calculated risk for me, but I thought I'd try this one anyway.
The cream feels great going on, thick, but absorbs quickly. I have noticed immediate (within the first week) improvement in texture and moisture for my skin, and since using it for a month, fine lines are getting decidedly smaller. My jawline seems better defined as well.
I did see that the first few times I used it, my skin seemed *slightly* irritated, but nothing really noticable. I don't have these affects anymore, so I'm thinking I'm probably in the clear as far as that goes. Something to note, though.
I could do with less of a scent - but it's not the worst thing ever. Just somewhat distracting!

I thought I'd buy this to see what all the positively ageless hype was about. Honestly it does a good job moisturizing, and took care of my dry patches in 2 nights, however, was it the shiitake mushroom complex that did that, No. It was the Shea butter! And as much as I like the moisturizer, this is NOT good for sensitive skin. It stung my skin and made the redness worse. There is so much fragrance in it that I stopped using it after a week!

I have been using Aveeno face wash for forever and it's great, and so when I was looking for a nighttime product, I picked this one up on a whim. Was hoping for something that would moisturize and soften my dry skin as I slept ... and maybe even, over time, minimize my pores. So I used it nightly for over a month and never noticed any real difference. But sure, I was thinking, I guess it is better than using nothing at all.
I started noticing some severe dryness around my mouth ... my upper lip started peeling. So I changed lip balms, thinking that could be the problem (even though I have been using the same kind of lip balm for a long time). Nope. The dryness went away the day after I stopped using this night cream.
Disappointed in Aveeno. Still stand by their Skin Brightening Daily Scrub, though.

I wish I had read the posts here before putting this product all over my face. After the third night it DESTROYED my skin. Since pictures speak lowder than any words can, I have uploaded pictures of my face before and after using this product.
Seriously, I don't know if it would do this to EVERYONE, but why risk it. I sure wouldn't have had I known then what I know now.
Note: The review FORCED me to rate it 1-5, if 0 or negative numbers were an option you all would know where I would go. . . -5

This product made my pores very visible after my 3rd night of use. I've never had big pores before. I used this night cream along with the positvely ageless day moisturizer with SPF15. I dont know if its the day moisturizer that made my pores huge or this night cream but I used them together and it made me look like i have goosebumps all over my face! Didn't like it. Returned it.

I'm on my 2nd jar of this cream, I love it! When just started to use it, few red pilling spots appeared on my face. I did not stop using it, and 4 -5 days later spots dissapeared, skin became smooth, silky, I keep touching it, feels so nice! In the beginning of using cream I felt a little burning, but a week later it stopped. Love the smell. Definately will buy it again!

Oh my goodness! I am 30 years old and I typically have flawless skin. Never a bump or pimple, never too dry or oily. Well, Aveeno Positively Ageless Night Cream sure changed that! I have used this product for 3 nights and now my skin is raw, peeling, and feels like I have a searing sunburn. I have red bumps everwhere and my face hurts! This is so unlike any other Aveeno product I have ever used. What a disappointment!
If your skin is at all sensitive, I urge you to think twice about using this product. At a minimum, test it in a small area for a few days first. Trust me, you don't want it to do to you what it has done to me--all over.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price, but I had to make up my mind quick. For being an Aveeno product, I thought it would be a LITTLE cheaper. This cream was pretty consistent for me. I'm reaching the last bit of the jar and I'm tempted to purchase another, but I want to try out different products as sticking with one for a long time isn't ideal for your skin.
This cream isn't thick and it is easy to apply. No need for excess rubbing and it soaks in nicely. Has a nice fragrant smell to it also.
I would buy this again.

I just finished my PX night moisturizer and I cannot afford to purchase another one. I use Aveeno products and thought I would try their night cream. It's not bad, and so far no breakouts (which is my main concern). It leaves my skin very soft ~ without the greasy feeling that some night time creams give you in the morning.
I purchased this product at Ulta for 20% off and another 20% off the total. So, I cannot beat the price. I will purchase this product again because I am on a budget...

I have loved every Aveeno product that I have ever used. Aveeno offers gentle, effective, quality products for a fair price. Over the years, I have used numerous brands, ranging from drug store to higher-end. In my teens and 20's, my skin was normal to oily, so I never used anything too heavy. With the exception of one other favorite, Aveeno's Positively Radiant daily moisturizer with SPF 15 was my go-to moisturizer, day and night. About three months ago, I relocated to the desert and the climate is, of course, very dry. Around the same time, I began to wean myself off of a medication that I had been taking for several years. The medication wreaked havoc on my hormones and my skin has gone through spurts of cystic acne breakouts. So, with both environmental and internal changes, my skin has been much more dry and problematic. Since I am on a budget, I need something that can be used both morning and evening. I chose Aveeno's Positively Ageless Night Cream because Aveeno has never let me down, the price was right and most importantly, the formula is just perfect for me! It is rich and nourishing but it does not feel heavy or oily. The scent is very minimal. I have been using it, AM and PM, to great results! After cleansing and while my face is still damp, I apply one dollop on each cheek, my forehead and my chin. Then, I gently massage it all over my face and neck, (even across my closed eyes and I haven't had any irritation). This cream leaves my skin looking and feeling soft, smooth and glowy. This product is just what I was looking for. Another reviewer mentioned that she saw an improvement in her fine lines and scars. I can say the same! I really cannot say enough great things about this. I love that I found a moisturizer that is perfect for day and night use for about $16 dollars! I have been using this for over a month and I won't need to repurchase for at least two, possibly three months. Some women may not find this cream suitable for daytime, as there isn't any SPF protection. To be honest, I don't like SPF in my moisturizer and these days, it is incredibly difficult to find face lotions without SPF. SPF doesn't "get along" very well with my sensitive skin. I spend limited amounts of time in the sun and if I plan to be out for longer, I can always apply my Aveeno moisturizer with SPF on top of this. As women, our skin changes with age, hormonal and environmental factors. Having said that, this product may not be adequate for a woman with aging and/or very dry skin. Overall, I will purchase again and I would recommend it!

I bought this instead of the Lifting and Firmin. Night cream because I bought the Lifting and Firming Day Cream and it's too overly fragranced. The regular Positively Ageless night cream still has added fragrance, but isn't as obnoxious and doesn't sting my eyes. But for a night cream, I wish it was richer. I'll use this up but I may try the ultra-calming night cream next and hope it doesn't have as heavy a fragrance. But this hadn't broken me out and my face looks good when I wake up in the morning, so I think it's helping.

I have almost finished this jar of moisturizer and the ONLY reason I'm finishing it out is because I don't want to waste my money.
Pros: Scent (a bit strong, but at least it smelled nice IMO), texture (creamy and smooth)
Cons: Dried out my skin!
Every single time I put this on my skin it tingles, and not in a good way. At first I said that it was the active ingredients 'working', but now, I just think my skin didn't like this product. :-( It's weird. Immediately after applying it onto my face, my skin looked moisturized, but once it evaporated (or sank in), my skin still looked dull and felt dry. Still on the lookout for my HG!
