YAWN!! What a bore! Moonflower is a boring teal...more like a dulled out teal that doesn't apply for anything. I've been thinking of digging this eyeshadow out of the pan just so I can make a pressed pigment.

my HG MAC e/s so far!!! I bought moonflower together w/ parrot, it's prettier than parrot! (i don't know why everybody seems to be in love w/ parrot, I don't find it to be that special). It's limited edition (I have a thing for LE e/s, need to collect them all =.=") ... I paired moonflower w/ fab & flashy, they make a fun combo~ I'll try to pair moonflower w/ swish next time~

I really like moonflower, if you are a big fan of blue eyeshadows, you gotta have this one ! ^^

This is a unique blue shade. I don't have an eye shadow like this in my collection and I have a lot of eye shadows. It looks so pretty on and applies like silk.

I have tons of MAC eyeshadows. I love them...can't get enough. So, every now and then when I come across one that disappoints me, it frustrates me. Moonflower is a light blue with goldish flecks in it. It didn't really blend well for me at all and wasn't all that pigmented. It kind of reminded me about Pink Venus eyeshadow (I think that's the one), where it hardly showed up at all.

Such a pretty shade of teal from the Strange Hybrid collection!!! Beautiful when worn alone or blended with a darker shade for a smokey look. Would repurchase for sure!! :)

I love this eyeshadow. It's such a pretty color on me. For reference, I have ivory skin, green eyes and medium brown hair. When I first got it, I thought it was going to be way too dark for me, but when I actually put it on, I realized that it was very wearable, for day or night.

I love this aqua-teal-blue color. It's really beautiful. I also like the texture...veluxe pearl, I think. Would rebuy!

This is a medium shimmery blue with the slightest hint of teal. I like that it can be worn with greens and purples as well as other blues. I took a lipstick off because the texture is a bit chalky and uneven when applied dry (the color looked muddy on my lids) but other than that it's a nice versatile blue that would work on most skintones.

I so love this shadow. I've been so unimpressed with all of the collections in the last couple of months from MAC, and I own just about every blue shadow out there, but moonflower is different! The texture is very blendable for a frost shadow, and the blue is neither too dark or light. It has like a glowy component--like the moon! I love it!

I love blue eyeshadow, so of course I had to have this one. It's a very pretty color, although, on me it looks almost like freshwater. In the pot, freshwater looks very bright blue, and moonflower looks like an opaque teal, but when I put them on each eye you can barely tell the difference. I don't know, maybe it's the lighting in my house. You can see a very slight green tint in moonflower, which is what differentiates the two, so I'm still keeping mine. I'm an NC20 with brown hair and eyes and it looks very pretty.

Beautiful blue that isn't too bright but yet lively. I love this color! My favorite blue right now! :) Goes well with the other Strange Hybrid e/s, especially Rose Blanc. NC40

You know, when I first saw this, I said, "Eh, that looks too much like Tilt. I don't need it." I don't wear a lot of blues/blue-greens anyway. However, the next day, I put on Tilt to test it out again and it wouldn't stay on my lids (so THAT's why I stopped wearing it...I remember now). Plus it looked a little different when I swatched it next to my sister's Moonflower. So off I went, back to MAC, to get this one. It blends so well and actually stays on! The color probably looks better on those with brown eyes (mine are blue), but I like it enough to keep around, and I find myself reaching for it more than any of my other teals.

Love this color. It's an aquablue/greenish color with little sparkle. I used it dry today and strangely enough it combines really well with coco beach that way, at least it does on my darkbrown eyes and rather tanned skin. I read on the boards some people paired it with coco, but that was too light for me. Coco beach was a better match somehow. It's more toned down than colors like steamy, which I love as well. Blends well, no creasing, too bad it's LE. I will update as soon as I've tried it wet with purples, think it will look great with plumage too.

LOVING this! Moonflower is a limited edition release shadow from the Strange Hybrid collection released May 2007. I tend to love aquas/teals/greens and this one is no exception. Comes in the standard flip top pot. Moonflower is a greened aqua shade. Its not so bright that its too much. But you can definately see greenish blue color. Kinda like a dusty aqua. Love this. Looks great with my NC30 light olive complexion and brown eyes. Retails for $14 and is a must have IMO.

This is a lovely e/s but I just wish LE colours could be released as a pan sometimes. Its nice to have the pots for B2M but it doesn't add up just to buy pots for the sake of B2M.

Although it looks like other shadows in the pot, it is different enough to have in my opinion and I have a lot of this type of colour!

I said I would buy it again but unfortunately, its LE so I can't.

Usually blues don't work well on me, but this is gorgeous, a mid-tone aqua-ish blue. It definitely has more blue in it than Steamy, which is more of a vibrant, light turquoise. This is more subtle, and works nicely as a liner accent around the eyes as well as a lid color. For reference, I am an NC27/NC30 with strong yellow undertones. This is from the Strange Hybrid Collection which MAC just released, so of course it is LE. I suspect the mad rush to grab this shade will be significant...
