I did not notice that it made a difference in either the color of my nails or the longevity of my polish. Tried both solo and with CND Stickey and my strengthener. Color Club polishes seem to not work well with my nails in general, so this does not surprise me (I ordered it with 9 polishes and 2 topcoats). I found that the polish flaked off in large pieces and not in any general zone, so I don't think it was my prep.

Okay base coat for brightening, however it makes my nails glow in UV lights ~ which I cannot stand...it shows all my mistakes. ;) I probably won't repurchase this one.

This is a nice base coat, but it didn't affect the color of my nails at all. It's just a clear basecoat. I got it at head2toe beauty for $2.99, which is a lot cheaper than what I pay for my Seche Vite base coat.

I love this base coat! It really does a fantastic job in neutralizing any yellowness in my nails when I use it under sheers. I've found that other white or non-clear basecoats can look streaky under sheer polishes, but not this one! I will absolutely buy it again when I run out.

I was really disappointed with this, as I saw no effect whatsoever. I had orange-stained nails from deep red polish that I'd been recently wearing. I put this on one hand, a regular clear base coat on the other hand, & then a semi-sheer pink/french mani nail polish over it. On me there was absolutely no difference between either hand. They looked the same side by side. You could tell that my nails were slightly stained under the polish. I tried it under different opaque & darker colors too. Again, no difference or change at all on me. And even though it does look like a milky color in the bottle (to my eyes, I don't detect any bluish tones), it goes on perfectly clear, so it doesn't mask any nail discoloring. I normally do like most of Color Club's polishes, & IMO they are usually equal in quality to other more expensive brands. To me though, this is nothing special at all. It works fine as a regular base coat, so I'll keep & finish it, but I don't think I'd repurchase.

RAVE RAVE RAVE! This is a clear base coat with a slight blue tinge in the bottle. On the nail there is no color of course, and it really doesn't visibly change the color of your nail with only this on. What I've been able to see from experimenting, is that it alters the color of your polish by some sort of chemical reaction I assume, it adds a blue tinge. I first tried it under a vampy black/teal polish and only put it on one finger, the polish on that finger turned more blue than black/teal. Then I took it off and my nails were still orange underneath, so no bleaching effect seemed to be happening. So then I applied it to all ten nails and put a sheer pink polish over it. My nails immediately looked free of stains. The tips of my nails that were orange are now a nice pink, and the pinkier part near the cuticles is a little more purple than pink, but not in a bad way. Basically I think this base reacts with your polish to add blue tones to disguise staining so that french manicures look healthy. I ordered this for $2 from 8ty8beauty.com and will definitely buy again!
