I got a sample and I have to say mine does not look like the one pictured as mine is this weird grey-brown color. I looked at it and though, yuck. What a horrible color. I went ahead and tried it and the color looks completely different on my skin (thankfully!) It is a very natural reddish flush that looks great on my cheeks and even my eyes. I really love it! I do have to be careful to to apply too much. I use my 188 and buff like crazy to blend or it looks a bit blotchy and streaky. Still the color is very nice for my NC 20-25 skin. I don't see peachy at all. On me its definitely more reddish with some brown. I can't imagine I'll ever even use up the sample but I would probably buy another is I did.

This stuff is strong! Too dark as a blush for me, but makes a great lip colour, and with care a good eyeshadow too.

The color in my pot of Evening Out looks completely different once it's applied on my light skintone. It turns a peachy orange which doesnt look good at all on me.

Just got this based on MUA reviews and i LOVE it.Perfect blush for summer!I just have to apply a bit more to make it last all day (though it looks dark at first but then it will fade to a nice colour) :) thats what i usually do with all my edm blushes.

I love this!! I love any of the pinky-brownish-natural looking blushes. It looks great on my Medium Beige Neutral (beige) foundation. (I'm Sunkissed Fair in the winter and it looks good too!) I need a new blush brush because the Angled Blush Brush from EDM is seriously picking up WAY too much. That's aside the point I guess. If you apply it right it won't be too dark. My other favorites are Waffle Cone, Snuggle, & Back to School.

i ordered this blush because of a recommendation from another user and i am so happy i did because it is so wonderful! another reviewer said it's "natural and healthy looking" and that's the perfect description for it. makes me look like i have a natural flush. when i first saw it in the container i thought it wouldn't show up on my EM shade golden medium/buttered tan skin but it does! i apply it with a small duo-fiber brush (brand: silk naturals) and it looks beautiful. it's a definite must-try if you're looking for a new blush!

I must have gotten a bad batch because the one I received is pure ORANGE. It has very subtle shimmer but there is no other way to describe the shade because the orange is too overpowering.Very disappointed in this. There is no way I would wear this again, much less considering repurchasing it.

LOVE IT! It is so natural and healthy looking. A unique color combination that you don't see very often in the stores. I tried a free sample and I was hooked. You can see my pic in my profile to see my coloring and get an idea. This gives me a warm "pinched cheeks" glow that is a little bronz-ish and not orangey or pink. I wear light neutral foundation in EM, sometimes light medium.
I highly recoommend EM's angled blush brush too, the best I have ever used. They make really good brushes and so affordable!

Perfect color!
A mix of red with a little brown that's perfect!
And for me, i'm pretty white, it's just the right amount for my cheeks.
Perfect blush and very pigmented!

An amazing, warm toned, terra-cotta brown blush with some pretty subtle sparkle to it. Not as dark as Text Message, surprisingly, on me.
I got a large size of this one and I'm glad I did. I am medium complected, yellow-olive toned (I wear Winged Butter/Golden Medium combo in EM Matte or Intensive) and this looks very nice on. It is easy going on with a fluffy blush brush, but I always apply mineral blush sparingly at first because it tends to apply very pigmented and darker than you might think. This one really looks lovely on but I am wearing it to work, and it's very work-appropriate, or good for anytime if you have the right coloring for it. This may be too dark on very fair people, but maybe if you use extremely sparingly, it may still be ok if you are very fair. This looks even better on me when I'm tan, as I am right now in the summer. Another fantastic blush from EM.

Everyday Minerals Evening Out Blush (light shimmer)
6 g container = $8 (which could last a lifetime, way too much IMO)
2.5 g container = $4
Described on the EM website as: an elegant medium brownish-red shade with a beautiful sunburst of orange shimmer. Great blusher for fair to medium skin tones and for darker complexions is an ideal as an all over face color.
My opinion: a beautiful brownish, slightly plum and with a hint of orange. It has a light shimmer, almost glowing. It looks sparkly and ashy in the container but it's more of a warm, earthy color.
I've tried Nick Nack, Apple, Plum Dust (previous favorite) but this is my most favorite color so far. It makes a beautiful night-on-the-town color, probably why it's called Evening Out. :) But I admit, I wear it all day at work.
I have included a couple of pictures so you can see how it looks in the jar and on... (Click on continued to view):

Evening out is a very nice color! I agree from the pot it looks "no way" that would give my cheeks some color to it but yes it is! A subtle light orange-brown with shimmers when apply (on light olive), not too dark or too light. Love it~

I got this blush in my first sample kit from EM. It absolutely perfect for me! It is a nice earthy brownish with a hint of plum color that looks so natural on my medium/light olive freckle-y skin. I got so many compliments the first time I wore it. It really makes me look "alive" and sunkissed. LOVE it!!!!
I think the negative reviewer may not have tried the blush on. It really doesn't look that great when you open up the container but is totally different on. I will be buying a larger size when my sample runs out.

This is by far my FAVORITE EM blush! It's really lovely. Its looks are deceiving, as in the jar it looks like a very pale, ashy, brownish-violet color (I think maybe the negative reviewer didn't actually try it on?)
But when you put it on your face, it's a beutiful natural sunkissed color with a lovely shimmer. It looks so natural, yet you can dress it up and down. Definitely ordering a full size! I think this would work great for all complexions - for light to medium as a blush, and for darker tones as a all-over face color. I love EM's products and I think their blushes are some of the BEST out there!

I love this color of blush. I am really pretty fair fairly/light and in the summer this has given me the "just come in from the sun" glow. If I put a little too much on...I just go over it with some tinted silk dust and it blends out perfectly. This is a healthy, sunny glow. I think the name should be changed though to something more "beachy".

I love EM but this is the most hideous blush color I have ever seen. I opened the container and thought there must be a mistake and they had sent me an e/s instead of a blush. No, this is supposed to be blush. It's brown but a horrible ashy brown with a shimmer that looks very unnatural. I am fair and while this isn't too dark it just isn't a color I want on my cheeks.

This is one of my favourite EM blushes! Such a great shade for me. It is a light browny shade with some goldeny/orangey shimmer. Difficult to describe. It is shimmery (in a good way). I really love it. For the record, my skin tone is kind of light olive. UPDATE 7/7/07: Still loving this. It looks very different on the skin than it does in the pot! Probably better for people with olive/warm tones.
