I use this for my eyebrows. It matches them perfectly. I love how it defines them. Packaging is very chic.

I have been using this particular color for several years now as I have found it to be the perfect dark brown. I hope Aveda never discontinues this shade. It is lovely on and smudges well. I love this pencil/color for my top liner but after about 5 hours it gives me racoon eyes when used as a bottem liner and that is not a huge concern because I can just put some E/S over it or for go using it to line my bottem lashline w/o E/S over to set. Overall, I love this shade and will buy again and again.

I met this eyeliner pencil at a holiday makeover event: I really liked how soft the color was (compared to my usual black), yet still defining.
It is very smudgeable, and I have not noticed any problems with longevity through my days.
My only complaint is that I wish the pencil were longer: keeping a sharp point on it quickly whittles the pencil down to a nub :(

I love the packaging of Aveda, very unique and eco-friendly. They are made with high quality recycled paper. The pencil looks gorgeous in FSC wooden case but the performance is just average. The colour is a nice deep brown and the texture is creamy and smooth. It's made of soft wax, therefore it's very gentle and non-irritating, but the down side is, the colour doesn't stay and smears a lot. Edit: What did I expect from a eye pencil? Long lasting power like tattoo? After using it for several days, I'd say it's a decent eyeliner in pencil form.
